Longsheng Hotels with Breakfast

This was a local hotel that was situated on a peak facing Jinfoding (Golden Buddha Peak), so note it’s not on Jinfoding itself but still in the same area of Jinkeng Dazhai. I hired a driver via the hotel to fetch me from Guilin Airport to the hotel. Journey took about 3 hours using local roads, if you can somehow negotiate with your driver to take the expressway from the airport, it will be about an hour shorter and less scenic but also less nauseating. Access to hotel is pretty limited unless you hire a driver or you drive. If you take the bus from Guilin downtown/Airport, it will only alight you at the Dazhai parking lot, and you still need to make transport arrangements to get to the hotel within the scenic area (anywhere between 20-40min drive) but the boss is helpful and very contactable (phone call or wechat). I wouldn’t recommend walking to the hotel cos it is situated at the top of a pretty steep hill and it is a one-car lane that goes both ways with many blind spots. At the hotel, you could choose to walk and hike the terraces to other viewpoints in Jinkeng, but note that the routes will be very long and exhausting. If you plan to visit other villages like Ping An Zhai, it’s about an hour’s drive away on mountain roads, and it’s best if you hire a driver as well. Overall, room was very clean and spacious and was true to trip.com description and pictures. Very comfortable, clean and scenic stay! Shower and toilet are separate and clean. There’s a bathtub situated right behind the bed, they provided disposable bathtub liner if you want to use it. Hotel is situated near one of the viewpoints in Jinkeng, but it was very misty on the day I hiked. From what I could make out through the mist, the views seem pretty epic. View from the room is great and the boss provided a welcome sweet rice wine drink with lunch which was great! The boss gave me some luohanguo as a souvenir when I checked out! Did I also mention, breakfast provided included a jar of fresh warm soy milk and a delicious bowl of rice noodles made to order! Will stay again in future!

Very friendly family ran hotel. The greatest advantage is its location, which is only a few mins walk from one of the viewing platforms. The room are well maintained and clean. We booked the sunrise view room and the balcony looked like a painting. Logistically, you need to take the village tourist shuttle to get here from the Ping’an Village parking lot because it’s located within the protected area. You must let the ticket vendor know the name of your hotel so they drop you off at the right one (there are multiple hotels inside the protected area) This hotel is also about a 30 min walk from another viewing platform, which I would recommend doing if you have the time, as the walk was mostly flat and the scenery along the way was very nice as well. Breakfast is quite typical of the area and the dinner was also quite nice. Overall would stay here again!

I booked two rooms with my friend. My friend's room has an indoor swing, which she was very satisfied with. This B&B is highly recommended. The interior decoration is very beautiful and the outdoor scenery is also very beautiful. The owner of the B&B is very warm and helped us arrange the subsequent itinerary and gave us sweet wine. My friend said that he would choose to stay here again next time he comes.

Had such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us. The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal. The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here. The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local). What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat). 在这民宿住了三天两晚，也是我们会记很久的回忆。余老板人很善良，也烧了一手好菜。食材都是新鲜的。房间搭理地很干净，我们住的很舒服。床是大床，阳台也很大。我们两个在那儿早上做瑜伽，听鸟叫声，简直太舒服了。看看老板烧菜，和嘟嘟（狗狗）玩，再和它去观景台看看。看杨师傅煮竹筒饭，煮笋，山上生活好惬意呀。这个人情味，回味无穷。

This is one of the few home stays with a pool ( and also a billard and a futball table) which is great for the kids. Beds and room in general was super comfortable and clean and the staff was really helpful; they helped to organize our arrival and also the bus to our next destination… also the view from some of the rooms must be really spectacular . All in all totally recommended

The food is delicious and the per capita price is reasonable. The pictures were taken in the hotel. When the boss is in the store, you can also order coffee. The location is within easy reach of the No. 1 and No. 2 observation decks. The room price is also ok. There is a small slope to the hotel, which is short but convenient. After all, it is in the mountains. Overall, I am very satisfied with it. It is suitable for friends who drive themselves (park at Yunjing Parking Lot). At the same time, it is recommended that friends who drive themselves, if they have enough time, can first go to the Dazhai parking lot, visit the Golden Buddha Peak, and then check in to the No. 2 and No. 1 viewing platforms, so that they will basically repeat the mountain road less. Of course, the strategy depends on personal preference. All in all, this stay experience was generally good.

This visit was the second for us during our time living in China. The inn we stayed at last time has closed down but we love this village and location on the terraces so found this hotel listed on Ctrip to stay at - we were so lucky to find it, it was absolutely perfect. The lady running this hotel is so welcoming and helpful, no request was refused - a big thank you to her!! The hotel itself is in a great location for seeing the best viewpoints around the terraces. The restaurant is so great - we are vegetarians and they cooked delicious food for us every day. The rooms are huge and clean, very comfortable beds and very nice bathroom - but the best feature is big windows with amazing views over the terraces. I am lying in bed looking at the terraces while I write this and it is so peaceful, I can hear only a few voices and birds chirping. I love this place so much - you will too!! Very highly recommended.

Our stay at the hotel was great! The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They also respond very quickly to all your questions and you can easily reach them via WeChat. They helped us to book a direct bus from Guilin to Dazhai and from Dazhai to Yangshuo. The pick up and drop off service from the Dazhai parking lot is quick and efficient, we were really happy that we didn't need to walk up the hill with our heavy luggage. The room is clean, spacious and luxurious. The breakfast is really good. We also ordered food for dinner twice and it was delicious! We also got some very good rice wine and tea with the dinner. We're travelling in China for a month and this was definitely our best stay of the entire trip!

I am so happy to travel to Guilin! I happened to come to Midu and I was not disappointed! Facilities: The view in the room is super beautiful, the panoramic room is great for taking pictures, all the necessary facilities are available, and they are all automated! Hygiene: Every detail is clean and very comfortable! Environment: Not only the room is beautiful, but you can see the terraced fields when you open the window outside, which is also super beautiful! There is one pick-up and drop-off each at Dazhai parking lot and No. 2 Observation Deck. If you want to go to Longji Rice Terraces, the boss can pick you up and drop off for free, which is really great! You can also experience taking photos in Yao costumes in the terraced fields: the Amo people are also super nice! The food here is also freshly fried, very delicious, not overly surprising, and very cost-effective!

This room is great and cost-effective. The boss is very nice and enthusiastic. He came to greet me at the intersection. Because the place to stay is a bit sloped, he specially arranged for someone to help carry luggage up. Although I was a little tired, I was not disappointed at all when I got to the room. My child We love it so much. It's so big, beautiful and comfortable. The room is very smart, with electric curtains, smart toilet, and large projection screen TV. It's very clean and the facilities are very complete. There's also a huge spa bathtub and a huge balcony to enjoy the scenery. The dishes cooked by the boss are also great. It’s very delicious, and the self-brewed wine is very delicious. After drinking, the boss will give you an extra pot. I really can’t say enough. The Guilin rice noodles I had for breakfast are also very delicious. The road to Jinfoding is very steep, and the boss is very nice. When we were old and young, he even drove us to the top of the mountain. It was so nice. I must recommend this place. This is the most comfortable place to stay for a few days.
