Guest UserThis hotel is an absolute gem! I spent a lot of time choosing a hotel in Longji Terraces, debating whether to go to Pingan or Dazhai. We are so happy and grateful we ended up staying at Yanduoshansu Hotel. Everything about it was incredible. Gorgeous location at the highest point in Pingan Village, with a panoramic view of the rice terraces and village, without feeling crowded among other lodges. At night we slept with the windows open to the sound of a mountain stream and cool air. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. But the highlight was the hosts who were so kind and friendly, despite language barriers. They helped us with luggage transfers, tips for hiking around the terraces and cooked the most wonderful, flavourful homemade dinner and breakfast - probably the best food we had on our trip to Guilin. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

The room condition was excellent, and the view was absolutely stunning. We could take amazing photos right from our room.
The owner was very thoughtful and paid great attention to detail. He's also a fantastic photographer; the pictures he took of our family of four were beautiful.
All our meals were at the hotel. The breakfast rice noodle set was very flavorful, and the lunch and dinner dishes were delicious, offering both home-style and local flavors.
Longji Terraces, we'll be back!

I stayed at this guesthouse for two nights and the location was great.
The golden rice fields visible through the large windows were truly breathtaking.
There were three observation decks nearby, and we walked to all of them.
It was nice to spend a leisurely day trekking.
The room and bed were spacious, and the bathtub was great for relaxing.
The breakfast was very basic, so don't expect much.
The owner doesn't speak English, so you'll need to use Papago to translate it into Chinese and then WeChat.
If you ask, they'll book a bus to Guilin and pick you up. I WeChatted in English on the way there, but I didn't get a reply. I ate at a restaurant near the bus stop and called, and they picked me up.

YelianghaogeqiuThe B&B's location is fantastic, offering breathtaking views directly overlooking the terraced fields – truly picturesque! You can tell the owner has put a lot of thought into it. You can drive quite close to the B&B, and they'll help you with your luggage up a short flight of steps.
The B&B's car provides transfers to the cable car station (for viewing platform 3 and Jinfo Peak). Viewing platform 2 is just opposite; they'll drop you at the foot of the mountain, and it's a 15-25 minute climb to viewing platform 2 (the Thousand-Layer Heavenly Ladders).
We had dinner on the first day and lunch on the second day at the B&B, and the food was delicious, especially the egg-fried rice, which had that wonderful 'wok hei' flavor. They served complimentary rice wine with every meal, which was sweet and had a very low alcohol content. The B&B also offers coffee and other beverages.
They even gifted us two bottles of rice wine at the end!
We booked two rooms; this particular room faced the terraced fields directly and had a balcony. You can also try catching fish in the rice paddies, which was a lot of fun.

wd726After visiting Jinfoding, we chose to stay at this guesthouse, and it proved to be an excellent choice. The guesthouse is conveniently situated along the path to Viewing Platform No. 2. The owner even transports luggage directly to the guesthouse via a dedicated cable car. You can dine right at the guesthouse, and the proprietress's cooking is excellent. For breakfast, they serve rice noodles, sweet potatoes, and eggs – simple, delicious, and nutritious. The guesthouse's location is superb; the views of the entire terraced fields from the guesthouse are breathtaking. It's truly admirable how well they've managed and maintained this guesthouse under such challenging conditions; they clearly put a lot of heart into it. If you're visiting the terraced fields, I highly recommend staying here.

Guest UserFrom the moment we arrived, Jason and his wife took incredible care of us. They picked up our luggage right at the foot of the hill and had it carried up to our rooms while we headed off to explore Ping'An village — such a thoughtful touch that let us start our visit unburdened and worry-free.
The views from both the lobby and our rooms were nothing short of incredible — the kind of scenery that feels genuinely healing for the soul. We found ourselves just sitting and taking it in more than once.
Jason's hospitality went above and beyond throughout our stay. When my friend developed blisters after a long day of walking, they went through their entire ice supply just to help her ice her foot and get some relief. That kind of generosity and care is rare to find.
The decor throughout the property is completely unique — wood carvings and old doors that Jason salvaged and collected from old homes give the lobby and guest rooms so much character and history. It's clear this place was built with real passion and personal touch.
We also loved the food at the hotel restaurant, especially the traditional 竹筒饭 (bamboo rice) — simply delicious, along with everything else we tried.
Jason and his wife have created something truly special here. Can't recommend Baike enough — an unforgettable stay in every way.

Anonymous UserThe hotel's location is fantastic, super close to Kowloon Walled City Park. The room is quite spacious and comfortable. The bathroom facilities felt a bit average in quality, but fully functional. Breakfast was so-so: two slices of white bread with jam, a fried egg, a pancake, a banana, a cup of coffee, and unlimited tea – basically all carbs... However, the hotel service was good. They helped carry our luggage up the hill (much appreciated!) and arranging transfers was very convenient. Overall, the experience was still good and offered great value for money.

The views from both the restaurant and the rooms are absolutely breathtaking. We could see the stunning 'Seven Stars with Moon' landscape, and in the morning, we were even treated to a beautiful sea of clouds. The hostess is an incredible cook; all the dishes we ordered, like the bamboo tube rice, bamboo tube chicken, and green pepper beef, were delicious. Breakfast was excellent too! The owners and their family were so warm and welcoming. This is hands down the best homestay I've ever stayed at. I definitely plan to return if I get the chance!

A perfect living experience. Not only is it comfortable to live here, but the boss family is also very enthusiastic, and he also called me to drink tea together. And their food is super delicious, beer fish is also good, in the morning, you can watch the sunrise at the observation deck, watch the sunset at night, you can see the terraces in the room, you can say perfect. However, the traffic of Longji Terraces is not very convenient. This point must be planned in advance before coming.

This is the second time to come to Dragon Ridge, last time stayed on the edge of Kowloon Five Tigers, did not climb to the mountain, but, the other end is the mountain view, that is, the room does not have terraces to see, so, this time I want to try the Ping An Village, this should be an old hotel, but the sanitary view is top-notch, although not like the Kowloon Five Tigers can Take the shuttle bus to the hotel door, but this is only two minutes walk to get off the bus, the hotel food is cooked by the boss, the hotel's pick-up service is the boss's own responsibility, a decent B&B, bed sheets and bath towels are very clean, the water is very hot, the large balcony is directly looking at the terraces, super high value for money, worth recommending. Pictures 1 and 2 were taken from the balcony. They are super beautiful. . By the way, there are many shops on Kowloon Five Tigers that borrow folk costumes. A set is 20 yuan. Really, everyone has come here. It is still very good to borrow a set to take pictures.
