GGuest UserThis is hands down the best homestay I've ever experienced! The hosts (the owner and his wife) are incredibly kind and welcoming. My suitcase had become exceptionally heavy after several days of travel and shopping. Without a moment's hesitation, even in the pouring rain, the owner single-handedly carried it up multiple flights of stairs. I was deeply touched by his incredible effort; it was genuinely hard work. Dinner was a heartwarming experience, shared with their entire family, and their children were absolutely adorable. The hosts are genuine, hardworking individuals from an ethnic minority group, dedicated to running their homestay with integrity and care. No matter what needs or concerns arose during my stay, the hosts enthusiastically went above and beyond to assist, genuinely caring for every guest. This is something I experienced firsthand. Finding such a wonderful place and meeting such kind-hearted people is truly a lucky and heartwarming part of any journey. This review reflects my honest opinion; if you're reading it, you can book this place without a second thought. The scenery, needless to say, is absolutely stunning, and the location is equally superb. So, when comparing similar value for money, I chose an environment that offered more warmth and positive energy. Encountering such fortunate and heartwarming people and experiences during a tiring journey truly re-energizes us, empowering us to face life with renewed strength and diligence. I believe this is precisely the meaning of why we embark on journeys! I am just an ordinary traveler, and I wrote this review purely out of gratitude for the profound kindness and genuine sincerity I encountered. I generally rarely write reviews. I've even specially included a photo with the host family, hoping everyone will support their business. There haven't been many tourists lately, but my experience was absolutely phenomenal.

GGuest UserThe owner is very nice and helpful. He responds to messages immediately and is always responsive. He also provides pick-up and drop-off. The room is very clean and the environment is beautiful. I slowed down and enjoyed the scenery. The style is very fitting for the name of the hotel. It is an elegant and carefree place. There are tatami mats that the children love, fishing in the rice fields, ethnic costumes, delicious young chicken, and rice wine that they can't drink enough. The owner even picked wild cabbage for the children. Overall, it was a wonderful experience here.

TTuan Ying GohHad such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us. The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal. The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here. The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local). What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat). 在这民宿住了三天两晚，也是我们会记很久的回忆。余老板人很善良，也烧了一手好菜。食材都是新鲜的。房间搭理地很干净，我们住的很舒服。床是大床，阳台也很大。我们两个在那儿早上做瑜伽，听鸟叫声，简直太舒服了。看看老板烧菜，和嘟嘟（狗狗）玩，再和它去观景台看看。看杨师傅煮竹筒饭，煮笋，山上生活好惬意呀。这个人情味，回味无穷。

SstylephoebeWe came at an unfortunate timing. Faced with fog and rain we are unable to venture out to enjoy the rice terrace view. Stayed in our room to see the nearby rice terrace. Settled our meal within the hotel. Lady boss was a good cook being able to showcase many local dishes. If better amenities can be provided that will be ideal - proper towels (not disposable), complimentary coffee. Nevertheless overall it’s a great stay.

JJingcaisunjianThe location is great, just a seven or eight-minute walk from the Ping'anzhai observation deck. The scenery is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains. Opening the balcony door from your room feels like you're living in the clouds. We went during the off-season, so there weren't many people. The guesthouse has a traditional Chinese architectural style, all solid wood, and the materials used are very substantial. The only downside is that you have to park in a designated parking lot quite far from the hotel, pay a high parking fee, and then buy an electric cart ticket to get up there. You can clearly drive up yourself, which I found very confusing and inconvenient.

GGuest UserAll in all an extremely pleasant stay! The location is absolutely stunning. Sure, it might be a little bit off the beaten track, but the views are all the more rewarding and the hiking path from Dazhai is also highly recommended. The hotel lobby also functions as a big living room and a little restaurant run by the owners. The food is excellent and well priced (definitely try their rice wine!). Because we were there in winter and it was cold, the owners even put a small radiator under our table to make it comfortable. Generally, the owners were super nice and friendly and adding their absolutely adorable puppy, we almost couldn't bring ourselves to leave. The rooms were very clean, have a small separate bathroom and we had a small balcony with view over the rice terraces. For a more budget option there is also rooms without AC or view, in that case you can still enjoy quite a bit of the scenery from the living room downstairs or just by exploring the surroundings on foot. (The picture is shot from our balcony, but sadly some of the view was obscured by the winter mist.) We will definitely try to come again sometime in summer and are already excited thinking about staying in this hotel again.

GGuest UserThe views from both the restaurant and the rooms are absolutely breathtaking. We could see the stunning 'Seven Stars with Moon' landscape, and in the morning, we were even treated to a beautiful sea of clouds. The hostess is an incredible cook; all the dishes we ordered, like the bamboo tube rice, bamboo tube chicken, and green pepper beef, were delicious. Breakfast was excellent too! The owners and their family were so warm and welcoming. This is hands down the best homestay I've ever stayed at. I definitely plan to return if I get the chance!

GGuest User🚗Convenience: I drove from Chengdu to Guilin with a friend's family. The journey was long, so we decided to stay at Longji halfway up the mountain as our first stop. After looking around online and communicating with the boss, we chose Yunman! When we parked at the foot of the mountain and walked to the parking lot, the owner was already waiting for us at the door, which was very thoughtful. 🛏️Beauty: When we arrived at the accommodation, we were attracted by the scenery in front of us. Outside the balcony was the terraced fields. We drank tea and ate with the breeze on our faces. It felt very comfortable. We told the boss that we were tired from the journey and we were going to take a break and go fishing. The boss also contacted Baba Shishi for us. 🌄Excellent location: It is very convenient to walk to the scenic spots on both sides, and the night stroll in the village next to it is also very close. We went to the Jiulong Wuhu Observation Deck first because we were going to catch fish. The children walked barefoot on the stone road, and wild strawberries could be picked everywhere on the roadside. They were so sweet, the scenery was beautiful, and it was a surprise~ The adults had more fun than the children in the fishing activity😂 🏡Comfortable: We booked a twin bed, the room is spacious and bright, the balcony has unlimited scenery, the night is lit by candlelight, the stars are twinkling, and tourists who hike at night walk with flashlights. Apart from the darkness, there are moving lights as companions, as if you are in the starry sky. As a background for the balcony, it is simply amazing, haha. My friend didn't have much expectations for the terraced fields, but when he arrived during the flooding period, he got used to it, and it was also beautiful. My friend felt very good and the experience was full! 🥗Delicious: We ordered the meal directly in the restaurant. The boss asked the restaurant chef to cook the fish we caught for us. We originally wanted to do it ourselves, but our husband talked to the chef and withdrew because he felt that the chef was very professional. The chicken tasted great in two ways. This meal was the best we had on the way, bar none. The rice wine was delicious. It was a pity that we didn’t eat the snails recommended by the boss. When we left, the boss sent us to the parking lot. Next time we go, we will go there to have a good time! 👏Very good accommodation environment, with natural white noise to help you sleep at night. Both adults and children slept comfortably and woke up feeling refreshed. Yunman Tianjian is highly recommended!

EE0193****Contact the owner upon arrival at Ping'an parking lot, and they will come to pick you up. The owners are very welcoming and attentive. The room was clean with a great view; you could see the terraced fields from the bed. The hotel is located in Ping'an Village, close to the Jiulong Wuhu viewing platform, and a bit further away from Qixing Banyue. A loop around the village is perfect if you don't backtrack. When we went, it was during the Rice Planting Festival, and the village was very lively. The owners had to participate in performances, but even so, they took excellent care of us, responding to all our needs.

GGuest UserThe hot springs are truly amazing! There are more than a dozen pools, all quite large, and the front desk service was excellent. The room I booked this time was in the main building, which seems to have been renovated. It doesn't look old, but due to its proximity to the mountain, it still smells damp. When I checked in, the fifth floor hadn't been cleaned yet, so I was assigned the fourth. The lighting was average, and the duvet felt wet. If you want a newer room and proximity to the hot springs, you can definitely choose the spa. After checking in, I realized it's part of the same establishment and not much more expensive. However, the price on Ctrip for the same room wasn't great. The price on Douyin was under 300. I'll have to learn to compare prices. Honestly.
