"The bedding was extremely firm, and the pillow was not very comfortable. I generally like hard beds, but this one felt more like sleeping on a wooden shelf. On the positive side, the owner’s wife was very friendly and welcoming. She took the time to explain how to explore the village and cooked some delicious food. One issue was that Amap did not show the correct route to the hotel. When I contacted the owner for directions from the parking lot, I was simply told to use GPS navigation, which was not very helpful given the mapping issue. Overall, for the price, it was an acceptable stay."

"Perfect food, perfect location and good service, someone came to pick us up and back to the parking near the village, just think in advance you have to pay an extra for entering in the area. The view from the room was amazing (photo) and the confort also. Just no hot water in the balcony tub. Try to show early at dinner and breakfast or you will miss your turn ! And you absolutly don't want to miss their amazing meal"

"Almost missed this place because it was not in the ranking list. It is a hidden gem. To me what make this place stands out compared with the many highly rated lodging in the vicinity is its design (the unit I booked has a floor to ceiling window, raised platform w cushion seat and bean bag to chill and have tea, no silly bath tub at window). The view is to die for, exactly same as the photo displayed in trip.com (I thot the photo was enhanced but turned out it is exactly the same on site. Even the photo I took looks surreal. The rice terrace looks so near and the cascading stepped layers look so distinct) and the price is less and even half of the other listing. Definitely value for money. Only downside is the shower water pressure is a bit low and hot water needed a while and smart WC not calibrated well w zesty sensor at work. Additional plus point, sunrise scene from your room if the clouds is in your favour. Good local home cooked food and attentive service from owner and family. Very near and easy stroll to lookout 1 and but tough yet short trail to lookout 2."

"Came here for the starry sky room, it was exactly the same as the picture. The boss’s homemade rice wine tastes delicious, just like a drink. Even though I don’t drink at all, I really like it. I didn't make an itinerary plan before I went there. Fortunately, the boss called in advance to confirm and found out that Longji is very far away and the direct bus only runs once in the morning and afternoon. Helping to book a bus saved me a lot of trouble. Not only did he pick me up when I arrived and left, but he also took me to the observation deck and the restaurant within the scenic area. It was really great 👍🏻!"

"When visiting the Longji Terraces, choosing the right hotel can truly make or break your trip! This hotel is *the* prime viewing spot. Just open your balcony door, and the layered terraces stretch out before you. In the morning, you can watch the mist roll over the fields, and in the evening, witness the sunset turn the rice paddies a glorious golden-red. Every photo you snap turns into a wallpaper-worthy masterpiece. The rooms were impeccably clean and tidy, featuring wooden furniture with authentic local charm. The bedding was plush and comfortable, and we slept incredibly soundly at night, serenaded by the chirping of mountain insects. The owner and staff were incredibly genuine and hospitable, going out of their way to recommend hidden scenic routes and even helping us arrange a reliable private car service. Even the breakfast rice noodles were freshly prepared, served with an incredibly generous amount of toppings. The location is also super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the main viewing platform. Plus, the hotel serves authentic local farmhouse dishes. Staying here truly allowed us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of Longji. I'll definitely pick this place again when I bring my family!"

"The room is facing the terraces. The overall decoration style is warm and bright, and the texture is high-end. I highly recommend it if I like to take pictures, because it is really a film. The housekeeper said that this is a room for designers to design and decorate. The housekeeper told us what time the terraced scenery is most suitable for taking pictures and the mirror effect. When I was eating, I also tasted Longji special rice wine, which was really intimate."

"Disclaimer: I am a genuine guest, and all the following reviews are authentic, with no embellishment. The photos and videos are originals, without filters or editing. 1. **Room**: The actual room matches the pictures online, and the window view is also consistent with what's advertised, so feel free to book with confidence. The king room features a tatami mat and a floor-to-ceiling window (which can be opened), while the twin room comes with a balcony. All bathrooms are designed with separate wet and dry areas, and the entire room is equipped with smart home features. Most importantly, the guesthouse has an elevator! An elevator! This is incredibly convenient for guests with luggage, seniors, or children. 2. **Cleanliness**: The lobby, restaurant, terrace, and rooms are all very clean and free of any peculiar smells. What's even better is that it didn't feel damp even when I stayed after the Qingming Festival (this is a big plus). 3. **Environment**: The guesthouse boasts a modern, minimalist decor with a bright overall color scheme, excellent natural light, and ventilation. All facilities and equipment are well-maintained, and the soft furnishings and decorations are thoughtfully chosen, making you feel right at home. There's a children's play area in the lobby, which also looks clean and tidy. Next to the restaurant, there's a public outdoor terrace with lounge chairs and tables, where you can comfortably relax, play, chat, or dine. 4. **Transportation**: Whether you drive yourself or take a chartered car/taxi, you can drive directly to the guesthouse entrance, which has its own parking area. For those traveling by bus, the guesthouse owner provides pick-up and drop-off services at the bus stop (Jinkeng Dazhai Parking Lot). The owner also offers rides to Viewing Platforms No. 1 and No. 2, or Cable Car Station No. 3. It's incredibly convenient and hassle-free (transportation in the villages of Longji Terraces can be quite inconvenient). 5. **Service**: The service absolutely deserves high praise; it's very thoughtful and attentive, with every request met. On the day of check-out, my chartered driver wasn't scheduled to pick us up until 4:30 PM, leaving our group of four with nowhere to go. We ended up staying in the guesthouse restaurant and on the terrace after checking out. The owner's family didn't mind at all and continued to host us warmly, which made us feel a bit embarrassed. In the end, they personally saw us off at the door. Throughout our trip, my parents kept raving about the place, and after returning home, they urged me to write a good review to express our gratitude. 6. **Food**: Breakfast is a freshly prepared set meal per person, consisting of a cup of soy milk + 1 corn + 1 bowl of Guilin rice noodles + 1 boiled egg. It's filling and delicious, and the eggs are from their own chickens. For lunch and dinner, I ordered à la carte at the guesthouse. All the chickens, ducks, fish, and vegetables are home-grown or raised by the guesthouse itself, killed/picked and cooked fresh on the spot. Everything is incredibly fresh, and the portions are generous—definitely not pre-made food! The chickens and ducks roam freely on the owner's own land. What's more, the guesthouse owner's cooking skills are excellent; even my parents and aunt, who are experienced cooks, couldn't stop praising every dish. It all tasted great and suited our family's preferences perfectly. The owner also offers complimentary homemade rice wine, which is delicious, truly delicious—you must try it. If we weren't planning to spend a few more days in Yangshuo, I would have definitely bought some to take home. You absolutely must try the guesthouse's home-raised chicken, especially the chicken soup. After leaving, my parents kept talking about their chicken, saying it was different from any chicken we had at other farm-to-table restaurants in Yangshuo later on. Their chicken was tender and fresh, with the natural sweetness of chicken, not just seasoning. My parents kept saying that after our trip, they wanted me to contact the owner to order some to be delivered home. Because we had already tried the local specialties in the first few meals, for our last lunch, my parents just wanted some fresh vegetables from the field, and the owner didn't mind at all that we only ordered two vegetable dishes. Their homemade Luo Han Guo tea is also very good; the tea is rich. When we checked out, the proprietress even specially gave us two packaged bags as a parting gift—so thoughtful! I'll be contacting the proprietress to buy passion fruit after the National Day holiday when they ripen. 7. **Local Ethnic Attire**: The guesthouse provides local ethnic costumes for free, with several sets to choose from, including headwear. The clothes are new, clean, and you can wear and photograph them as much as you like. Furthermore, the owner has a beautiful wife and a pair of lovely sons, along with kind and honest-looking parents. The entire family is incredibly warm and sincere, making our stay very comfortable, reassuring, and pleasant. Happiness is infectious. Jinkeng Dazhai is truly beautiful, and I highly recommend everyone to visit!"

"The location is in Jinkeng Dazhai Xinzhai, halfway up the mountain, close to the Golden Buddha Summit. It takes about 40-50 minutes to reach the Golden Buddha Summit on foot. But if you go to No. 1 and No. 2 Observation Deck, you need to go down to Dazhai and climb again. The time schedule is 2 hours. This is very convenient for customers who don’t take the cable car."

"We made a last-minute decision to stay within the scenic area and luckily snagged a room at Qingshan No. 1 B&B, avoiding the crowds. The environment is absolutely superb, with stunning views right outside our window. We could admire the rice terraces from every angle, and they even upgraded our room! At 5:30 PM, we immediately took our child to participate in the B&B's fish-catching activity, which was a fantastic experience. With the owner's help, both adults and children managed to catch some rice fish. We had dinner right at the B&B, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was a set meal, complete with rice noodles, whole grains, and soy milk."

"Off-season, the owner upgraded our room. It had a washer-dryer combo, was quiet, clean, and offered excellent value for money. We parked our car at the entrance to the scenic area, and the owner drove us up to the guesthouse. Even though it wasn't far, the mountain road was quite winding. Breakfast was incredibly generous, so much so that we skipped lunch. For dinner, we ate at the guesthouse. The chicken was truly free-range, and the bamboo shoots were very tender. The owner even treated us to homemade rice wine and glutinous rice balls. Many thanks!"
Qingfeng Yazhu Homestay
"The views are great and the bedrooms clean, including the air. The bed was comfortable—but hard so make sure this is what you like. It was the first and possibly only one that was amply long enough for me and for a European I am not crazy tall. The host was generally polite and friendly, but maybe due to the language gap a little laid back in providing information. On arrival the main areas smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke and the host was casual with smoking behind the desk. This was also the case the next morning, so it was a bit difficult to breathe during breakfast. After a very long hike I decided not to return before having dinner as I was too tired to face the smokey room. However, after I returned there was a local lady there and the smoking had miraculously stopped and the air been cleared out… much better as the bedrooms are advertised as non-smoking and likely booked by many non-smoking patrons, so it was hard to understand the atmosphere of the shared area. It meant it was unattractive to have tea in there even though it is offered in the package. The host was also not pro-active about offering this, including for breakfast. It is easier here if you are a person who demands things. I am not… Breakfast was simple but good and the host was very kind in changing the menu for me when it turned out I didn’t eat pork. For anyone inclined to walking to Ping-an: it’s nice and fun and a pretty walk but it’s quite long. I used the signs and Strava to navigate. However, you can take a didi (local Uber) back, so don’t worry too much about having to walk that too! In case you are like me and have no idea if didi’s operate in national parks. They do here."
