Hotels in Longji Terraced Field-Ping'An Zhuang Village, Longsheng

The location is good. From balconi can see the rice terrace and walk for 20min up to 九龙五虎观景点 Nine Dragon Five Tigers Scenic Viewpoint. The room is nice but ha no tea/caffe We asked for the show time at the Huangluo village but hotel did not give us any info. Saying that they don’t have any idea about the show. We asked for a ride to Huangluo Yao Village that is 10minutes ride and the guy in the reception charged us 70¥. After all, we need to know how to reach Guilin from the village but still the guy replied saying that we have to take a didi taxi. Hopefully, the people in the village are so friendly and helped me and my daughter to get the bus to Guilin for 80¥ only.

Mama and I had such a great experience here on our 3-day (2-night) trip to the 龙脊 rice terraces. Cannot recommend these guys enough! They were so friendly from the start and service was AMAZING.  We got quite lucky with our room. We were able to catch the sunrise every morning coming over the “back of the dragon”. Location was great too, being not too far from the 九龙五虎 and 七星半月 observation decks. Aside from the view, the place was clean with the usual amenities. Their home-cooked Guilin specialty meals also made for great dinner. Almost everything was home grown and locally sourced, and oh so tasty!  They were also great with our check-out and send-off, helping us organise a car/driver to our next stop (Yangshou) and a little farewell token that read “ 一生平安” which translates to “a lifetime of peace and safety”. We even picked up some of their monk fruit (羅漢果) and passion fruit (百香果) before we left! Thank you for making us feel so welcome 西窗月! Highly recommend booking with them! ☺️👌🏼

This is hands down the best homestay I've ever experienced! The hosts (the owner and his wife) are incredibly kind and welcoming. My suitcase had become exceptionally heavy after several days of travel and shopping. Without a moment's hesitation, even in the pouring rain, the owner single-handedly carried it up multiple flights of stairs. I was deeply touched by his incredible effort; it was genuinely hard work. Dinner was a heartwarming experience, shared with their entire family, and their children were absolutely adorable. The hosts are genuine, hardworking individuals from an ethnic minority group, dedicated to running their homestay with integrity and care. No matter what needs or concerns arose during my stay, the hosts enthusiastically went above and beyond to assist, genuinely caring for every guest. This is something I experienced firsthand. Finding such a wonderful place and meeting such kind-hearted people is truly a lucky and heartwarming part of any journey. This review reflects my honest opinion; if you're reading it, you can book this place without a second thought. The scenery, needless to say, is absolutely stunning, and the location is equally superb. So, when comparing similar value for money, I chose an environment that offered more warmth and positive energy. Encountering such fortunate and heartwarming people and experiences during a tiring journey truly re-energizes us, empowering us to face life with renewed strength and diligence. I believe this is precisely the meaning of why we embark on journeys! I am just an ordinary traveler, and I wrote this review purely out of gratitude for the profound kindness and genuine sincerity I encountered. I generally rarely write reviews. I've even specially included a photo with the host family, hoping everyone will support their business. There haven't been many tourists lately, but my experience was absolutely phenomenal.

We loved our stay here. Extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming host. Helped us organise shared transport to the hotel from Guilin West Railway Station for 80 yuan each. We hiked from Ping’an to Dazhai and she organised our collection in Dazhai and subsequent transport to Guilin, including luggage transfer. This also cost 80 yuan each but the price depends on the season. Clean, spacious rooms and the free fresh fruit was a nice touch. The host is also a great chef and made us both dinner and breakfast, the latter costing 18 yuan for two. Great location within Ping’an, halfway between the two famous Ping’an viewpoints - you can walk to one (about 20 minutes) then follow a mountain trail to the other (40 minutes between the two). Based on our hike to Dazhai, staying in Ping’an felt like the right decision as it seemed a little quieter and more authentic to us.

We originally booked a hotel in Dazhai, but changed to Yunman in Ping'an Village at the last minute to see the night view. The decor was simple, and it seemed to be run by a family with great care. The location was excellent, with a wide view; I recommend booking a room with a full view – a 180-degree panorama! At night, with the room lights off, the twinkling lights on the terraced fields were very romantic. It's very close to the Jiulong Wuhu scenic area, and we climbed up there once during the day and once at night. We had dinner at the guesthouse; they had a freshly killed chicken, and the owner even removed the bones for us – very thoughtful. When we were leaving, our car battery died, and the owner kindly borrowed some jumper cables to power it for us.

The hotel offers great views, and the facilities are excellent. The room was very spacious, and we could enjoy the stunning terraced fields right from our balcony. The location is also good, situated between two viewpoints. The hotel provides a shuttle service from the parking lot, as cars can't directly access the hotel. Be aware that you'll still need to climb some stairs, so it might not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Additionally, you'll need to pay 10 RMB for someone to carry your luggage to the hotel. On the day we arrived, there were many guests, so service was a bit delayed, but other than that, everything else was quite good.

It was raining just two days ago, so I was pleasantly surprised by the clear weather when I arrived – choosing this hotel was absolutely the right decision! The view is incredible, with the rice terraces stretching out endlessly and the distant mountains shrouded in mist, creating a truly serene atmosphere. The hotel service was very attentive; they picked me up from the parking lot, and the staff were welcoming and helpful, answering all my questions. The food at the hotel was delicious too. I hope to have another chance to come back for a vacation when the rice is being harvested.

The room is generally clean, the boss is very warm, the surrounding introduction is in place, not far from the surrounding attractions, dinner in the store, breakfast in the store, the price is not high, the taste is delicious, the passion fruit is casual, the taste is very good, it is recommended.

The owners, both the husband and wife, are incredibly kind. I originally booked a small room, but the landlady proactively upgraded me to a bigger room for free, saying she wanted us to be more comfortable. 👍 They invited us to warm up by the fire and even washed fruit for us to share with their child. We also had dinner at their place, and it was super delicious; the owner even gave us some rice wine. The next morning, when we were heading out, the owner gave us some sweet potatoes and taro from their own farm, which were incredibly sweet. Overall, everything was wonderful, and it truly felt like coming home. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Longji.

The views from both the restaurant and the rooms are absolutely breathtaking. We could see the stunning 'Seven Stars with Moon' landscape, and in the morning, we were even treated to a beautiful sea of clouds. The hostess is an incredible cook; all the dishes we ordered, like the bamboo tube rice, bamboo tube chicken, and green pepper beef, were delicious. Breakfast was excellent too! The owners and their family were so warm and welcoming. This is hands down the best homestay I've ever stayed at. I definitely plan to return if I get the chance!
