Hotels in Longji Terraced Field-Ping'An Zhuang Village, Longsheng

The location is good. From balconi can see the rice terrace and walk for 20min up to 九龙五虎观景点 Nine Dragon Five Tigers Scenic Viewpoint. The room is nice but ha no tea/caffe We asked for the show time at the Huangluo village but hotel did not give us any info. Saying that they don’t have any idea about the show. We asked for a ride to Huangluo Yao Village that is 10minutes ride and the guy in the reception charged us 70¥. After all, we need to know how to reach Guilin from the village but still the guy replied saying that we have to take a didi taxi. Hopefully, the people in the village are so friendly and helped me and my daughter to get the bus to Guilin for 80¥ only.

We came at an unfortunate timing. Faced with fog and rain we are unable to venture out to enjoy the rice terrace view. Stayed in our room to see the nearby rice terrace. Settled our meal within the hotel. Lady boss was a good cook being able to showcase many local dishes. If better amenities can be provided that will be ideal - proper towels (not disposable), complimentary coffee. Nevertheless overall it’s a great stay.

This is hands down the best homestay I've ever experienced! The hosts (the owner and his wife) are incredibly kind and welcoming. My suitcase had become exceptionally heavy after several days of travel and shopping. Without a moment's hesitation, even in the pouring rain, the owner single-handedly carried it up multiple flights of stairs. I was deeply touched by his incredible effort; it was genuinely hard work. Dinner was a heartwarming experience, shared with their entire family, and their children were absolutely adorable. The hosts are genuine, hardworking individuals from an ethnic minority group, dedicated to running their homestay with integrity and care. No matter what needs or concerns arose during my stay, the hosts enthusiastically went above and beyond to assist, genuinely caring for every guest. This is something I experienced firsthand. Finding such a wonderful place and meeting such kind-hearted people is truly a lucky and heartwarming part of any journey. This review reflects my honest opinion; if you're reading it, you can book this place without a second thought. The scenery, needless to say, is absolutely stunning, and the location is equally superb. So, when comparing similar value for money, I chose an environment that offered more warmth and positive energy. Encountering such fortunate and heartwarming people and experiences during a tiring journey truly re-energizes us, empowering us to face life with renewed strength and diligence. I believe this is precisely the meaning of why we embark on journeys! I am just an ordinary traveler, and I wrote this review purely out of gratitude for the profound kindness and genuine sincerity I encountered. I generally rarely write reviews. I've even specially included a photo with the host family, hoping everyone will support their business. There haven't been many tourists lately, but my experience was absolutely phenomenal.

Our experience at Baike Hotel was simply great! The hotel is very very very beautiful, clean, and furnished in the local style. The view from the terrace and from our room was amazing, and very peaceful. The food was also delicious! Plus, Jason and his wife have been extremely friendly and helpful in answering to our questions, helping us and in giving us suggestions on how to tour around the area. Upon our request, Jason also helped us arrange a transfer from the Airport in Guilin to the hotel, a transfer from Ping’An to Dazhai (to do the 15km hike back), and a transfer from the hotel to our next hotel in Yangshuo. I speak some Chinese, but a plus for those foreign tourists who do not speak any Chinese is that Jason speaks a great English, so no need to worry about language barriers at all! Overall, we 100% recommend this hotel! We had a wonderful and unforgettable experience, and should we ever come back to Ping’An, we would definitely come here again!! 🤗💯💯💯

It's a bit far from the foot of the mountain, but the owner's family helped carry my luggage, which was a lifesaver because I definitely couldn't have managed it alone. The room was super spacious and incredibly comfortable; I had a fantastic one-night stay! The whole family was wonderful. When I ordered food, the grandma even poured me a cup of her homemade rice wine, which was delicious! The next day, the owner also helped arrange a shared ride for me. The only thing to be aware of is that there are a lot of bugs in the mountains! They'll fly in if you leave the balcony light on, so don't open the balcony door casually at night~

🚗Convenience: I drove from Chengdu to Guilin with a friend's family. The journey was long, so we decided to stay at Longji halfway up the mountain as our first stop. After looking around online and communicating with the boss, we chose Yunman! When we parked at the foot of the mountain and walked to the parking lot, the owner was already waiting for us at the door, which was very thoughtful. 🛏️Beauty: When we arrived at the accommodation, we were attracted by the scenery in front of us. Outside the balcony was the terraced fields. We drank tea and ate with the breeze on our faces. It felt very comfortable. We told the boss that we were tired from the journey and we were going to take a break and go fishing. The boss also contacted Baba Shishi for us. 🌄Excellent location: It is very convenient to walk to the scenic spots on both sides, and the night stroll in the village next to it is also very close. We went to the Jiulong Wuhu Observation Deck first because we were going to catch fish. The children walked barefoot on the stone road, and wild strawberries could be picked everywhere on the roadside. They were so sweet, the scenery was beautiful, and it was a surprise~ The adults had more fun than the children in the fishing activity😂 🏡Comfortable: We booked a twin bed, the room is spacious and bright, the balcony has unlimited scenery, the night is lit by candlelight, the stars are twinkling, and tourists who hike at night walk with flashlights. Apart from the darkness, there are moving lights as companions, as if you are in the starry sky. As a background for the balcony, it is simply amazing, haha. My friend didn't have much expectations for the terraced fields, but when he arrived during the flooding period, he got used to it, and it was also beautiful. My friend felt very good and the experience was full! 🥗Delicious: We ordered the meal directly in the restaurant. The boss asked the restaurant chef to cook the fish we caught for us. We originally wanted to do it ourselves, but our husband talked to the chef and withdrew because he felt that the chef was very professional. The chicken tasted great in two ways. This meal was the best we had on the way, bar none. The rice wine was delicious. It was a pity that we didn’t eat the snails recommended by the boss. When we left, the boss sent us to the parking lot. Next time we go, we will go there to have a good time! 👏Very good accommodation environment, with natural white noise to help you sleep at night. Both adults and children slept comfortably and woke up feeling refreshed. Yunman Tianjian is highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location couldn’t be better everything was within walking distance, which made exploring rice fields so easy and enjoyable. The hotel itself was spotless and very comfortable, but what really stood out was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and always ready to help us with tips and recommendations. They made us feel truly welcome from start to finish.

The location is great, just a seven or eight-minute walk from the Ping'anzhai observation deck. The scenery is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains. Opening the balcony door from your room feels like you're living in the clouds. We went during the off-season, so there weren't many people. The guesthouse has a traditional Chinese architectural style, all solid wood, and the materials used are very substantial. The only downside is that you have to park in a designated parking lot quite far from the hotel, pay a high parking fee, and then buy an electric cart ticket to get up there. You can clearly drive up yourself, which I found very confusing and inconvenient.

You must come and see the terraced fields surrounded by mountains in your lifetime. Fortunately, this hotel is definitely the best choice for Ping'an Village. The boss and his wife are beautiful and kind. The village is very primitive, so the living environment is even more chaotic. It really feels like the village in the movie. We are a couple, an old man, and two children. We have very high requirements for living environment, hygiene and safety. The biggest advantage of the hotel is the location. You can sit in the room in the morning to watch the sea of ​​​​clouds. There are hundreds of acres of terraced fields at your feet. The scenery is first-class, and you can sit there for a whole day without going out. It's not far to the best viewing platform. It's also convenient to the parking lot. The boss's private dishes are also worth trying. Chicken soup, fish, and white rice are all special and delicious, and the price is very reasonable. The room is decorated in a tree house style, and every piece of wood is very sincere, not a commercial product in bulk. Thank you, our family will come again, leaving us with good memories.

This inn is perfectly situated right by the Ping'an Village parking lot, the first establishment in the front row. It's about a 30-minute walk to both the Seven Stars Accompany the Moon and Nine Dragons and Five Tigers viewpoints, offering an excellent location with 270-degree mountain and rice terrace views. Just enjoying a pot of tea on the inn's large terrace, watching the clouds drift by, makes it worth every penny. The manager is professional and enthusiastic, and the cleanliness and service are impeccable. A truly wonderful stay.
