My 4 night stay at The Grand Luang Prabang was excellent! The hotel is beautiful. It was a former palace during colonial times and I loved the plentiful lily pads, lotus flowers, and dok champa trees. The staff were also truly incredible. While the hotel is a bit far from downtown Luang Prabang, they were always willing to drive me there for dinner or to explore the night market, and it was really appreciated. If you want to have a special stay at a truly unique hotel, book with The Grand Luang Prabang, it will really add to your overall experience.

The environment is good But the overall facilities are very poor. The hot water in the bathroom is not hot. It is very cold after taking a shower. You have to cover yourself tightly with the quilt at night to avoid being cold. The disposable slippers are of very poor quality. The hotel breakfast is nothing special. It is just rice noodles. Chinese food includes shrimp dumplings and barbecued pork buns. It is the same every day. The juice is orange juice (blended) and it is not freshly squeezed. There are three kinds of jam (strawberry, pineapple 🍍, orange 🍊). They are all gelatinous. In short, the quality is very poor.

When I first checked in, the shower water pressure was very low. I told the front desk and it was quickly resolved! Except for the remote location and limited shuttle bus time, there is nothing wrong with it. Of course, you can also choose to find a car by yourself, but the cost is a little expensive.

The Grand Luang Prabang hotel in Luang Prabang was formerly the Xiengkeo Palace, which was once the official residence of Prince Phetsarath, a famous national hero in Luang Prabang. We booked a pick-up from the hotel (US$30) but encountered an unreliable car. The thick smoke broke down halfway, which made us very worried. The hotel facilities are a bit old. The equipment is okay, but the towels and bath towels are also relatively old. I hope the store can improve in the future. Oh, by the way, the hotel's laundry bag needs to be paid for, don't take it away, don't take it away, don't take it away.

The room was very damp and unhygienic, with rips everywhere. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, but I bought a phone card so I could use it. The breakfast was terrible... and the breakfast staff spoke very poor English. And because we were the only guests, we ordered food and there was no buffet. I couldn't finish my fried rice and packed it up to take it home for lunch, but they didn't pack it up. The shuttle bus schedule was also weird, with very few shifts. Anyway, the environment is very, very beautiful and worth staying for one night, but only for one night
