Best Hotels near El Moderno Concept Store, Madrid

Good place to stay for short trips to Madrid, we will probably book again at the property in the future, perhaps with breakfast and late check out for a change. We loved the enviroment and atmosphere. Beds where confy, but if you have big luggage it may be an issue Lockers available as well.

We arrived at the hotel on Thursday, 21 July, the room was not cleaned, all was dirt, the night boxes were dirty, all the paint points were made, the shower was broken and the water went along the back. The shower doors couldn't be closed, so the whole bathroom was wet, the bathroom was dirty, and there were brown fingerprints on the wall in the bathroom. The toilet glasses moved when you sat on it. There was a joint on the balcony. The rooms were super-hearing, we could hear our neighbors shower, hear talk, hear walking, so bad that you woke up in the night. The hairföhn was not standard in the room, this could borrow you at the reception. There was no safe for stuff, so we didn't feel good, and finally we had no air conditioning. During our stay it was about 40 degrees. We also checked if there was air conditioning in the room. This would be there. This was not there. There was a air grid in the room that would have to bring cold air, the controller was in the hall and controlled the temperature of each room, which was apparently often detonated or at a higher temperature, which would make it warm again. We had it after one night and we wanted to leave as soon as possible, and we reported it at the reception and it was immediately ordered that we had the money back from the rest of the nights. This is the only positive thing I have to say about this hotel, the list of our comments was immediately reviewed and the room was checked, and I hope that something will be done.

For our first visit to Madrid we wanted a central accommodation with parking for our vehicle. From email to confirm that our apartment was ready and access procedures, through very sympathetic physical reception, very accessible parking and a rare quality apartment in this type of accommodation. The apartment was spacious enough, a kitchen corner, a living room and a huge bathroom with more than complete equipment and all of the cleanliness. We chose the breakfast on the site that was deposited before our door every morning (no restaurant room), in the form of a very complete meal basket, hot drinks being prepared by our care. We have enjoyed the very pleasant swimming pool area, on the terrace above the building, but not the adjacent bar, which is unfortunately closed due to a holiday day (San Isidro). Only a small bemol, a discotheque located in the street can cause some harm, not because of music but people out smoking or drinking a glass and sometimes talking loudly ... First concluding visit!

A mini-hotel in the classic Madrid entrance of the central area's residential house. It is located 5 minutes walk from the Sal Square, 3 minutes from the Chueca Metro, from the Barahas Airport 40-45 minutes by the metro. Comfortable rooms, more area than usual in Madrid. Nearby a lot of cafes, restaurants and shops. Excellent budget option for travel to Madrid. I recommend.

Enjoyed my stay here. Location is just off the Grand Via. Their is a communal entrance from the square. There is a small lift available. The room was small but adequate for my needs, after all I was there to explore the city and not stay in the room. It was clean, WiFi worked, bed was comfortable. I was situated around the rear if the property but the larger rooms overlooked the square. Highlight was the shower (in the room) powerful with various settings. Reception were efficient. Good location, average service, old facilities and equipment. You can hear the people next door talking in the room. It's okay for one night, but not for long term stay❌

I have stayed in many hostels before but at TOC it was the first time I stayed in a shared room ( female only). I was a bit worried as I didn't know what to expect but it turned out great. The hostel is awesome, has friendly staff and is the most modern hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were quite nicely soundproofed as you couldn't hear much from the hallways as it is usual for other hostels. In my 6 bed female room, we had 2 toilets, 2 sinks, and 2 showers - it was enough. :) I will be coming back, definitely!

We had SUCH a great time staying at this hotel. We were showing our visiting family what Madrid has to offer and the location of the hotel is perfect for that. Close to the best restaurants and the Sol train station making it really easy to travel around the city. The staff were able to help with anything we needed, and the gifts waiting on our door in the morning were such a great surprise! We love this place and will definitely come back.

For 1 night stay, its all good, room is super clean. Pillows are not so comfy, unless you request for extra pillows and double bed is just nice for an Asian size couples like us. Not suitable for bigger build bodies. Location is not that centralized and its quiet at night as it is an ofc area, but we managed to try both Taxi/metro for dinner, abt 10-12mins ride. We also went to Madrid Stadium using the metro, a more convenient way.

Close to the airport (about 10 min by taxi), suitable for transit but not for visiting Madrid. Clean and functional apartment. Pool very cold. The staff is very professional and caring though.
