We were traveling through Madrid over our anniversary and had a lovely stay at the Barceló! The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Although the breakfast felt a little overpriced, it had a good selection of options (even some gluten free items!). We didn’t get a chance to get in the pool, but my husband loved the sauna. Overall the hotel is located in a very convenient area and was easily walkable to the metro along with many other shops and restaurants. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and we had a wonderful stay. Would stay again!

The hotel is good but not sure is it really 5 stars. Great location, nice breakfast. Rooms were renovated. Quite a modern design. No smart TV, can’t use multi media. Balcony is connected with next room. Must close it when outside.

We loved the facilities in this hotel. The swimming pool looked gorgeous despite the time being limited and we could not try it.

The location is convenient for transportation. It is convenient to go anywhere by foot or by car. The breakfast is average. The soundproofing of the room is not very good. There is an intermittent rumbling sound from the upper floor. The service attitude is average. I don't understand why it takes so long to check in at 3 o'clock after checking out at 12 o'clock. I asked at 2:45 whether I could check in earlier, but it was not allowed. I called to ask for a bottle of water at night. The front desk said it would be delivered immediately. I waited for an hour and it didn't come. I called again and they said it couldn't be delivered and I could drink it from the tap. It's hard to rate it. It's really average compared to other hotels in Spain.
