The room was smaller than expected! We had no choice but to always go downstairs to the reception to request for services needed. The room had less pillows and couldn’t get comfortable,the didn’t allow food to be taken inside neither to warm it up with the microwave when cold. Worst of all we had to pay for wifi separately from the cost of the room for two nights!that was annoying and uncalled for. I hope they do better.

Staff was very happy and helpful, you leave a sign on your door for 11am if you need beds changed clean towels or extra tea bags etc. Was very happy with my stay, and will stay again

Absolutely disappointed with the way this branch of Travelodge has dealt with my booking. I paid £350 to reserve a room for 4 days which was confirmed and then on the day of checking in the receptionist informs me on not having a room available for me anymore because I arrived after 3pm(NO CHECK IN LATEST BY A SPECIFIC TIME) was given, I arrived at 11:30pm. They then had me sat outside for an hour trying to resolve the issue. This then resulted in me having to drive to another Travelodge 20 minutes away from where I needed to be for work purposes. No compensation was given, i was just told to my booking has been transferred to the nearest available Travelodge. I think it is extremely unfair to do that to a customer without letting the person know they need to check in by a specific time otherwise that room will be given to someone else. I will most definitely not be recommending that hotel to anyone. VERY RUBBISH COMPANY FOR DOING THAT. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED "DOUBLE BOOKING" OR "OVER BOOKED" especially when payment has been taken and booking confirmed before I arrived. The Travelodge they have moved me to stinks like old people, the decor and layout of the building is very old, extreme sport to find the building. 0/10 experience.

The staff are very friendly, easy car check in. Found the hotel to be very clean, we had a lovely view from the fifth floor, overlooking the river, great breakfast, our only gripe was we found the bed a bit hard

Really good stay. Terrance (Receptionist, Barman, Legend) was different gravy. So polite and gave great service everytime. Promote him to the manager ASAP
