The hotel is newly opened however the maintenance of the room is poor/ dirty. I realised this seems to be normal for most hotels in Malaysia. Eg - it can be a new hotel but they don’t seems to keep it well-maintained after some months. Unlike what Singapore hotels do - constantly keeping the standards high and clean.
The front desk staff are mostly helpful and friendly, especially Ms. Noor - showing us her big smile everytime we passed by the front desk, or asked her for help. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed! :)

Thank you Trip for asking this and allowing me to share my experience. The hotel is well located. Walking distance to many places like Jonker Street, Church, Food, Shopping, Etc. The hotel prices is fair stating 5star but actually this place not so Great. As family I took a join room n was granted.
The size of the room was small.
Maintenance was poor.
Pool was less chlorinated but dirty water.
Facilities was under maintained almost falling apart.
Food wasn’t as expected.
Needed to validate e Carpark coupon everytime as u check out.
Worse was e Beds, it’s really old n sunken in. Had hard time sleeping.
Overall e hotel stay wasn’t a good experience. E r other hotel very close n may b a little higher in price but much cleaner. If ur going as family n u just need a place to crash, then it may b fine. I only stayed one day in malacca n if I had extended, I would hv changed hotel. Overall this won’t b my choice hotel in future stays. Attached r some pictures of e defects I experienced. E service was fairly ok.

The hotel was much bigger than we had anticipated. It is a really beautiful place, hidden away in the nice city of Melaka. The lobby is beautifully designed, but freezing and the whole hotel seemed drenched in some kind of perfume, which made me a bit dizzy. Our room had the weirdest smell- but I think it was intentional...as though they had made it smell like that on purpose...like mouldy hay. The room was really pretty and the little patio is a nice touch. We informed the desk that we's be checking out at 12:50. but still, the same concierge called us at 12:00, waiting impatiently for us to check out. We were also hardly ever greeted upon entering the hotel. Weird. Once everything is done, I'm sure it will be a nice place. I wish the plants were real. They are all plastic and it shows, unfortunately. The location is perfect, just around the corner from China Town and Junkers Walk. I think it's a decent place to stay for a night or two.

Residence was easy to find, i would say the room is a good spacious one for a family of six. however, good to provide wifi and washing machine to use. (washing machine was there, but not allowed to use). staff werent friendly. perhaps manpower issue as well when our door was unable to open and they sent up a non-maintenance staff to check, and we ended up waiting for more than 30mins outside the door at 10pm for the maintenance staff to come and fix the door n give a new card. our card was unable to use, and the door battery was low too. 👎 no clothes rack too.
other than that, our stay was ok.

My stay at Bayview Hotel Melaka was truly memorable, thanks in part to the exceptionally helpful and friendly front desk staff.
Cleanliness was impeccable throughout the hotel, with every corner reflecting the staff's dedication to maintaining a pristine environment. While not ultra-modern, the hotel provided most essential amenities, including well-maintained gym and pool facilities.
The old-school design and ambiance added a charming touch, offering a glimpse into Melaka's rich history. Its strategic location in the heart of Melaka made exploring the city's attractions effortless.
The spacious room, with its breathtaking view of the bustling streets and serene river, was a highlight. It offered a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing.
However, what truly stood out was the warmth and professionalism of the front desk staff. From check-in to check-out, they were always ready to assist with a smile, offering valuable tips and ensuring all my needs were met promptly.
For those seeking a blend of comfort, nostalgia, and outstanding hospitality in Melaka, Bayview Hotel Melaka is highly recommended.

7th floor, Premier room, balcony can't be locked, and there was a child with us, but we chose not to change rooms. Overall, it's okay, but the cleanliness is a bit problematic. The room still has a lot of dust, and the bathroom is in the corner, dirty. Good location, next to the mall, there is Mr. DIY, a restaurant. Overall, it's okay, but the cleanliness is not good enough.

This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

The staff service was good. The amenities were great. Breakfast was good as there was a lot of variety. The location is a little far from Malacca City Centre but there were good food eateries within walking distance. Not much of shopping though.

TTravel open our eyes and minds### Review of Hotel Majestic Malacca
I recently stayed at Hotel Majestic Malacca and had a mixed experience. The room was very clean, and I enjoyed a nice bathtub experience, which was a highlight. However, the soundproofing in the room was lacking; I could hear conversations from the next room until midnight, so it might be helpful to request a quiet, non-smoking room when booking.
Additionally, there was a noticeable smoking smell coming from next door, and the pillow had an unpleasant odor. I found the mattress to be too soft for my preference, which affected my comfort.
The room featured a coffee machine, and I appreciated that I could request additional capsules. I also liked the eco-friendly touch of using glass bottles for drinking water. However, be aware that items like cup noodles and drinks in the fridge are chargeable.
Breakfast offered an à la carte menu that was just average—acceptable but nothing special. I didn't have time to explore the gym or swimming pool, as my days were filled with walking around Malacca city.
The toilet amenities, however, did not meet my expectations considering the room price. I think they could benefit from using a better-smelling shower gel and shampoo.
On a positive note, the staff were friendly and provided good service throughout my stay. There is parking available behind the building, but as a woman returning late, I appreciated being able to park in front of the hotel for safety.
Overall, while there were several drawbacks, the cleanliness and service made for a decent stay.
IiammanishgThe hotel is located in the Little India area and quite nearby the Jonker Street. I choose it mainly due to its location near the Malacca river. The rooms are very well kept, clean and the decor simple yet elegant. Totally of great value 👌.
ZZohraVery good location. Walk distance to Jonker Street, the river, and some other attractions.
Staff was friendly.
They let us stay longer in the pool even though it closes at 7.
The room was clean. Except for the moldy showerhead and the moldy window.
CCAROLINE MARY LAIWow, this hotel is really clean. I love clean hotel. Thank you Asiatic Hotel : housekeeping team for keeping the rooms so clean. I love this hotel and definitely will come back again to stay in this hotel. I love their design of their rooms too. Very comfortable and have lot of places to put our things in organised way. They have a small fridge in the hotel. Most importantly, lot of foods and restaurants nearby. They have a cafe and 711 next door so convenient and superb. Thank you Asiatic Hotel for your hospitality and definitely will come back again to stay in this hotel.
RRANETStaying at Executive Suite Level 2 for trio. Worth it for 3 star hotel & value for money. Clean. Love the sweet scent at its walkaway to the room, carpeted & airconditioned. Everything was at top notch. My only concern was less variety of foods for breakfast. Hope the management could upgrade the selection of foods to be more attractive. Of course would come again next time!
MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiI recently had the pleasure of staying at OYO 90899 Tube Hotel Melaka and the experience surpassed all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a truly memorable stay.
The check-in process was seamless, with the staff demonstrating exceptional hospitality and efficiency. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was evident, from the elegant lobby adorned with tasteful decorations to the well-appointed rooms that exuded both comfort and style.
Speaking of rooms, mine was a haven of tranquility. The furnishings were modern and plush, creating a cozy ambiance that made it difficult to leave. The bed was a highlight, offering a heavenly night's sleep with its luxurious linens and a selection of pillows that catered to personal preferences.
The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The fitness center boasted state-of-the-art equipment, and the spa provided a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.
Dining was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant showcased a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. The chefs' commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in every dish. The breakfast buffet was a standout, offering a wide array of options to suit every palate.
The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Requests were handled promptly and with a genuine smile, adding a personal touch that made me feel like a valued guest.
The location of the hotel was also ideal, situated in close proximity to popular attractions, dining options, and shopping districts. Whether I was exploring the city or simply strolling through the nearby parks, everything was conveniently within reach.
In conclusion, my stay at [Hotel Name] was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, top-notch amenities, and outstanding service created a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a refined and indulgent getaway. I look forward to returning to [Hotel Name] in the future for another unforgettable stay.
MMrs.NService by staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . laju je reply whatsapp, procedure nak check in pun sgt mudah.
bilik okay, u get what u pay. for cleanliness, rasanya kena improve lagi sebab lantai bilik yg sy stay tu kotor, pijak lantai je boleh rasa melekit🥲 before check in dorg mmg akn minta deposit, normal laa kn utk mana2 pnginapan . process refund depo pun sgt cepat dan x rumit mcm hotel 😌 which is mmang akn dpt pd hari yg sama kita checkout hotel.
AAmanda HiewThis is my second time back at this hotel. The first time was more than 5 years ago. I will definitely return here again cause of the location; it is on Jonker Walk and superbly convenient to get around in this area. The only problem is if you drive, you will need to walk at least 5 mins from the parking lots nearby. And if you are lucky to get the public roadside parking spots, will definitely be cheaper to pay than the privately owned lots.
SShuhadaproses check in agak lambat and staff tak betul-betul focus on customer. lepas check in settlekan deposit pon tak dapat resit for depo. Masuk bilik tandas kotor especially area lubang air tu berkerak lantai.. belakang mangkuk tandas pon sama kotor berdaki.. lantai shower spot tu hilang je kalau di tenyeh guna kaki.. so nampak laa housekeeping memang tak bersihkan betul-betul lantainya. selimut lagilaaa bertompok-tompok kuningnya.. tuala berbulu mcm lap kaki dah pon masih diberikan kepada guest. kemudahan iron disediakan di luar bilik tapi tulaa iron dah nak terbahagi dua dengan hitam kerak. baju seluar putih memang bertompok kesan iron nanti adui
