The receptionists at front desk are so nice and welcoming. Really kind to help me and check in , out , luggage storage are all really smooth thanks to them. Really beautiful too 😊 room is big and location is golden. A few mins walk distance from everywhere. Definitely recommend 😊

Lovely hotel with very friendly welcoming staff. Nice room with a lovely comfy bed and nice and quiet. Within easy walking distance of the Co-op Arena, Piccadilly Station and the city centre. We would definitely stay here again !

Our stay at this hotel was lovely.The people at the front desk were friendly and warm and really helpful.The lady at the bar was also lovely and friendly.Every staff that we encountered at this hotel was lovely. The hotel has beautiful ambience and modern decor. The location of this hotel is super convenient as it’s very close to the city Center which by walking is about 6minutes.It is also close to the Manchester Picadilly train/tram station. The hotels location is also convenient to restaurants and a nice place called Spinningfield which is a 20 minute walk. We would stay again😊😊🙂

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts. Location: The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s super accessible to all forms of transport, whether you’re arriving by train, bus, or tram. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle. Parking: The parking arrangement is convenient if you’re driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches. Hotel Condition: This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. Fantastic find in the centre of Manchester. Very clean, spacious and lots of great amenities. Was staying for work and it has lovely to have a lot of the comforts you wouldn't get in a hotel. Would highly recommend

Wow! This is truly the best hotel in Manchester! Every room is unique. The rooms on the first floor have high ceilings which gives it a grandeur feel. The staff are excellent and really pull the stops out to make your stay here extra special. The complimentary drink to meet other hotel patrons between 5-6pm is a welcomed touch. The food in the Refuge restaurant is of a high standard and I can honestly say that their Sunday Roasts are one of the best I have ever had. Breakfast was also of excellent quality. Sunday evening live jazz in the bar creates a great vibe. What I truly like about this 5* hotel is the atmosphere. Unlike most hotels, this hotel does not have that lifeless clinical feel that the majority of hotels who are catering to business clients. There restaurant and bars are of a quality where you would want to go even if you are not lucky enough to stay in the hotel. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Nice clean room and modern clean shower room. The hotel is in a good location and within easy reach of the city centre. Quite a good buffet breakfast but the restaurant area is quite small and gets very busy so best to avoid peak time.

Really enjoyed our stay, easy check in and out. However, slight mixup and confusion at first by giving up a room that someone has already booked, luckily when we went in they weren’t in but they sorted it and ensured us it wouldn’t happen to us.

When we got to the hotel they couldn't find our booking and said it had been cancelled, they sorted it out straight away though, upgraded our room for free and got housekeeping to come and split the beds for us within 5 mins of us getting to our room, due to the misunderstanding. We tried the restaurant for food and it was very disappointing. The chicken was bland and watery, the fries were way oversalted and the pasta was OK, but the veggies just weren't tasty, so disappointed. The breakfast though more than made up for it though, there was a great selection and if you wanted scrambled eggs or something special they made it for you.

The newer hotels in the campus area are up to standard in all aspects and are worth recommending. The only drawback is that it is extremely inconvenient for self-driving tourists. Parking is not allowed in front of the hotel and there is no parking lot at the hotel. You need to park in a public parking lot and walk for 5 minutes.
