My rating: 7/10 Overall, I would rate this hotel 7 out of 10. There were many things I really liked, but there are also a few areas that could be improved. The first thing that impressed me was the lobby. It looks modern, stylish, and very welcoming. The seating area near the bar is beautiful, with comfortable sofas where you can relax or wait if you have a train to catch. The dining area is also lovely, with a modern and pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. It was served as a buffet with a great variety of food. There were crispy potatoes, scrambled eggs and fried eggs, grilled tomatoes, baked beans, sausages, bacon, fresh vegetables, different juices, and a coffee machine with several coffee options. There were also cereals with yogurt, jams, chocolate pastries, Nutella, toast, sliced cheese, and a selection of cold meats. There was plenty of choice, and everything was very enjoyable. The lift was also very impressive. It looked elegant, modern, and gave the hotel a luxurious feel. Our room was clean and comfortable. The white bed linen looked fresh, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable, so we slept well. The bathroom was modern, spacious, and very practical. We also appreciated having tea, coffee, sugar, cream, and a kettle in the room. However, there were a few things that could be improved. We travelled as a family of three, and there wasn't enough storage space for our clothes. A proper wardrobe with shelves would make a big difference. Only I could unpack my things, while my children had to keep theirs in their backpacks. Another issue was that the window could not be opened. Without the air conditioning running, the room felt stuffy. The kettle also didn't switch off automatically after boiling, so it should definitely be checked or replaced. If I could suggest improvements, I would add a small coffee machine, such as a Dolce Gusto or similar, with enough coffee pods for the number of guests and the length of their stay. I think many people would really appreciate that. It would also be helpful to have a separate entrance or easier access for wheelchair users, as the revolving entrance door may not be convenient for everyone. In addition, a secure place to store bicycles would be a great feature for guests travelling by bike. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a beautiful design, excellent breakfast, comfortable beds, and a lovely atmosphere. With a few improvements, it could easily become an even better place to stay.

This was my second time staying at the hotel, and it never misses with the interior. I got a quiet room on a top floor at the very end of my floor, which I loved because I had a view of the city. It was 1 night spontaneous stay, and also affordable. There was parking on  Travis street Car park, which was 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Overall I would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay near Piccadilly.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay for work/pleasure. The hotel is in a great location 10mins walk from Piccadilly station and 5 mins to the well connected tram. We paid extra for the breakfast which was very nice, the breakfast staff are lovely and attentive with anything you need. The hotel and room was clean but the Tv remote was really dirty which was strange to miss such a detail. The young lady on check in (blonde) was really kind, helpful, friendly and patient since I was checking in alone with my toddler to start with whilst my husband worked. I got a complimentary birthday drink which was nice. The young lady on check out (black/dark hair) was not so friendly or patient, quite a stern attitude, did not smile or acknowledge us ever when passing in and out of reception. Our baby came down sick in the night and we were running 15-20mins behind the 11am checkout, settling and getting him ready so we called down with a heads up and she said no, not possible, the cleaners will be knocking on your door at 11am. It was just the handling of it and the manner.

A bit far from central station but room was clean except the bathroom. There were some mold and brown stains which was very gross

For this price point, it's really good value for money, even in Europe. The hotel is clean and spacious, and there's a supermarket and a Domino's nearby. If there's availability, you can even check in early for free.

It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, but taking a taxi is quicker and taxis in Manchester are affordable. The surrounding area is nice. The hotel has a very modern design and is quite new. My room was good and I had a comfortable stay. The only downside is that it's a bit far from Chinatown.

I had a very good stay at Leonardo Hotel Manchester Piccadilly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was quick and easy. As I was celebrating a special occasion, my room was kindly upgraded, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The hotel is modern and in a great location, close to Manchester Piccadilly station and the city centre, making it very convenient. Overall, I had a lovely experience and would happily recommend this hotel to others.

Booked this hotel as wanted to be walking distance to The Stadium. Which it is. Clean, comfy beds, plenty of tea, coffee in room and towels. Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble.
