Travelodge Manchester Piccadilly

Many thanks to Bernadette, Charlotte, Lynne and Julie at Travelodge Manchester Piccadilly for their kind help in pre drinks and helpful nature above and beyond their duties. The cake was lovely. My partner Geoff and I spent 3 nights and celebrated my 75th Birthday in this newly refurbished Hotel. When relatives and friends joined us for drinks we were looked after like royalty! The room was great with a view of Piccadilly gardens. During our time in Manchester we were really impressed with the New bus service, the free bus to the Science and Industry Museum was most useful to us old codgers. We also visited a show at the Hope Mill Theatre in Ancoats and the bus from in front the Travelodge was a great asset for us in getting there. All in all a fantastic trip.

Our family of four (2 adults and 2 children) recently stayed at the Travelodge Manchester Piccadilly, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The Positives The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm family welcome that made us feel right at home. The team was friendly, approachable, and generally helpful throughout our stay. Our room was absolutely spotless upon arrival - the housekeeping team deserves special recognition for their attention to detail. Everything was clean and well-presented, which is always reassuring when traveling with children. One aspect that particularly impressed us was how carefully the staff handled food allergies. The kitchen team took great care when preparing and serving food, which provided peace of mind for our family. This level of consideration for guests' dietary needs is commendable. Minor Drawbacks We did experience one small hiccup during our stay. When we requested extra pillows, the staff assured us they would bring them to our room, but unfortunately, they never arrived. This was a minor oversight in an otherwise attentive service. The beds were on the firm side for our liking, though this is purely down to personal preference rather than a fault with the accommodation. We opted for the Super room upgrade, which in hindsight, might not have been worth the additional cost for our needs. While it did offer a coffee machine and was situated in a quieter location, the view was simply of brick walls. For families primarily using the room as a base for exploring Manchester, the standard room might be sufficient. Conclusion Despite these small issues, our stay at Travelodge Manchester Piccadilly was comfortable and pleasant. The friendly staff, immaculate cleanliness, and careful attention to dietary requirements made for an enjoyable family stay in a convenient central location. While there's room for small improvements, we would certainly consider staying here again on our next visit to Manchester.

Brilliant staff who were very helpful and supportive. However bring earplugs and ask to get a view of the gardens (front). Could hear the roof ventilation noise through my broken window of the courtyard. Had very restless nights.
