Hotels Near Dash in Miami Beach

As others have mentioned in previous reviews, this property is by all means quite average, especially considering the price point you will undoubtedly pay for a weekend due to the zip code and proximity to South Beach. I think perhaps most disappointing is the bar/lobby area. The bar is an afterthought of 6 chairs that are off to the side of the rather small lobby area which ALSO serves as the gateway to the pool, the bike storage area, and the elevator bank. So it's a very happening area with not a lot of space. Most of the time the bartender was getting requests for ice or for water for pool goers. It did not seem ideal. The restaurant was closed permanently and seemed to have been so for quite some time. With that said, the check in and bar experience made a huge difference in the overall experience at this property . Frantz (apologies if this is misspelled) was amazing from check-in to check-out and never hesitated to go the extra mile to help me out. Even with surprising my friends with a bottle of champagne in their room upon check-in. Joaquin at the bar was phenomenal and I am now on a constant quest to find as good of an espresso martini as he made all weekend for us. Housekeeping seemingly did the bare minimum. When I opened my fridge upon check-in there was a container of moldy bananas. The shampoo bottle said it was for Best Western hotels (?) and was half empty. I left a note with a $10 tip titled Housekeeping asking for the bananas to be discarded and for more toiletries to be refreshed and shockingly the cash was taken and neither the bananas were discarded nor the shampoo replaced. Property is in a nice proximity to South Beach and shopping or restaurants up Collins in the more trendy parts of town. Definitely a great place for a quick trip. Some minor improvements can really take it to the next level.

This is our second time here at the Loews Miami and we love it! It is convenient location and the private pool and beach is amazing and staff is always checking to make sure guest belong and that gives a safe feeling. We spent evenings at the bar with Tom and other bar staff but Tom is so friendly, funny and welcoming! He is a “gem”. We spent the day on the beach and Tobias was so helpful with setting up our lounge chair and cabana bed. Tobias is very nice and helpful and made us feel welcome! Tobias is a “great asset to your team”. The staff out front were extremely helpful with checking our Uber (matching license plate and verifying driver for us. That special care goes along way and I wish I had the gentleman’s name but it was Saturday night and he was fantastic! I feel very safe here and we’ll taken care of by all staff. We love the Exhale Spa as well. Exceptional staff here and we are planning our next trip back.

When I say I absolutely loved this place, I loved it this was my first stay all the way from New Jersey for a 5 day stay, I know even know where to start I was checked in by the security that helps around she was so prefect anytime we needed anything she would help or guide us in the right direction. I was so sad I didn’t get to see her my last two nights I wanted to tip her so bad n give her the most appreciative hug☺️But not to mention they have a restaurant downstairs in boy it’s this one person I will never forget unfortunately I didn’t get his name bc we started a conversation about a iguana, yea a laugh lol, an from there all I did is call him my friend 😂 but from the moment to the end he kept me laughing so hard I already miss having lunch there so we can laugh. But I’m gone end here wit when I come back I hope to see the same two people I absolutely wanna thank everyone for making us feel like we where home 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

2 of us just returned, Fri 8/26, from a 4nt/5day stay @ our fave SoBe Hotel, The Albion!👍👍☺ We were upgraded to a SoBe Jr. King Ste. Rm#317, and it was awesome! Thank you so much GianCarlo once again for your gracious Hospitality & Service as always. Your front desk crew during our stay were all Great as well! Thanks guys!👍👍☺ Our jr.suite looked like new carpet had been recently installed and room freshly painted. The pool view is always awesome to have as well. We still enjoy having the free coffee ☕☕ in the a.m on the mezzanine level before heading to the pool/beach for the day. Location,Service and Cleanliness here keeps us coming back to stay! Also, we like how the lobby always smells nice !! Have noticed that in other FL hotels as well. It's very inviting! Well, until our next visit, hopefully in Dec. Keep Up the Great work!! Will definitely be returning to The Ritz Carlton, South Beach. Upon entering the hotel everything seemed super clean and I was greeted with a glass of champagne. I had a fabulous experience at the beach. A few names of the Excellent staff that made the day perfection: Murex, Jacque, Nerlens, Jefferey, and Daril. My group and I were helped to find a great spot on the beach, the food and drinks were amazing. This group of staff checked on my friends and I to make sure all was well. Will hopefully be coming back soon!

Everything was great except that I had to sit at the restaurant table in front of me.

I was going to spend a night in,Miami beach . Low budget in a hostal , coz I would be out doors most of the time . I been in 100 s of hostal travelling all over the world So I didn't read the little letters, coz most hostals are easy peasy chill and flexible I arrive at this hostal at reception , I had paid my booking with PayPal as I always do . They tell me than that there is a 20 $ deposit to be paid on a credit or debit card. I have a Dutch account and debit card from VISA PAY from my birth country but although it is a well known bank in Europe ,and everywhere in Europe it's accepted and even in Mexico and Colombia. It is not accepted in the US. So I could not pay for the deposit , and they would not accept cash, so I had to cancel the reservation and also it was not refundable . To be honest , it was a very basic hostal , with nothing there of great value. Why the deposit anyway , are guests so demolitions in Miami beach ? And shouldnt a hostal or hotel be covered by insurance for damages? Coz I see this over and over in other accommodations only so far in Miami Luxury hotels asking for a 500 $ deposit when staying there? It is mind blowing, I have never been asked for a deposit in my life Also the weirdest thing , they would ask at reception at Bed and Drinks hostal for a return or onwards ticket leaving the country.If you don't have proof of that , your stay will be cancelled For security reasons are they making this stuff up or what?! Bottom line , if they insist on deposits , they should at least have a terminal that accept ALL cards , Miami Is a Multi international city and should have more paying options. Although I still think it's way out of line to ask guests for deposits it is discrimination. It makes me very suspicious, about what is done with all those ” deposits ” money on hold . I hope they don't play around with that on stock markets or cryptocurrency ...... Freedom of speech

The hotel is very conveniently located: direct bus from the airport (bus 150) just across the street from the hotel. There are tons of restaurants from next door to the hotel and within ten minutes left or right from the hotel. The hotel is very clean. and the STAFF (all of them) ARE A GEM. Always very nice, very helpful. I cannot stress enough how lucky the management is to have such a great staff. From the front desk to the bar and Carolina and her teammate at breakfast are also just awesome. The hotel is 1 block from the beach: from the hotel room to the beach chair: 4 minutes. The amenities include internet of course, the swimming pool, a very good breakfast, beach towels, bottles of water (for free) 2 beach chairs and an umbrella for a room. And the beach chair has a mattress so this is super comfy. The room are really clean, pleasant, functional with all what you need. The mattress is very comfy and so are the pillow. The blackout curtains are really highly appreciated. You can set the airco to your own liking. All was working perfectly (i.e. always a warm or cold shower to your liking at whatever time of the day or evening) . The room was very peaceful (which is appreciated when you wish to rest in a party town). We stayed 9 nights hence long enough to really have a full experience. I warmly and highly recommend the San Juan. Thank you all

We stayed here in 2014 and while it was fine back then, wow was this an improved experience! The property looks amazing and you can really tell how much effort is put into the upkeep, which I’m sure is not easy for a historic building. Also, the staff are amazing-everyone is genuinely welcoming and takes pride in what they do, and you can tell they genuinely enjoy interacting with customers. The food and service were on point and the hotel restaurant Mareva was so delicious we ate there twice for dinner, which we almost never do while on vacation because we want to try different places each night. The pool and beach set up were relaxing and luxurious (except the pool music was a bit too loud for my taste) and yoga classes by the pool were great with an experienced instructor. We will surely be back!

The bathroom is well decorated, the room lacks furniture, there is no table and chair, and there is no sofa. It is a bit unreasonable to be a terrace room. I can move two chairs from the terrace to put clothes.
