"This was my third stay at Eden Roc, fantastic hotel – However, my third stay has shifted my thoughts. The bedsheets had a stain on them and my room was left open by housekeeping (thankfully nothing was taken, I guess no-one entered but this is a huge concern) – I was told to take this up with management and that I’d be offered compensation for a future stay (although when calling the front desk / eden roc number it says they’re not available and only connects you with off-site staff…) Very disappointed as the previous stays were fantastic."
"The bathroom is well decorated, the room lacks furniture, there is no table and chair, and there is no sofa. It is a bit unreasonable to be a terrace room. I can move two chairs from the terrace to put clothes."
"The facility itself was good.
The room may feel a bit small, but it was clean and nice.
However, it is far from Koreatown, so it may be inconvenient for Korean tours."

"The location is absolutely first class! The Lincoln Street, across the street, is bustling. Across the street from the beach! The level of luxury should never be compared to domestic hotels. For an extra charge of 22 knives, bring two cocktails or a beer in the courtyard or under the porch for romance. Standard American hotel breakfast Hotel parking 80 knives. Go to the 16-story large garage next to the parking for 24 hours and 20 knives."
"The service is average, the facilities are good, and the service attitude at the front desk is very bad. Very impatient. Ask the front desk hotel what content, let us see for ourselves. The hotel's environmental protection concept is very good, but I hope the service can also keep up."
"Very nice hotel, beautiful decor, very nice setting, very well located 3 minutes walk from the beach (the hotel provides towels at reception). There is no parking on site but they will know tell you where to find one 5 minutes away at $8 for 24 hours. The staff is very warm, thanks to Carlos for his kindness, thanks to Omar and Noah for their welcome. They will be able to listen to you and respond to your requests as best as possible. The bedding is comfortable, the rooms are clean and spacious, the swimming pool is pleasant. Friendly rooftop with deckchairs and gym on the 7th floor on the terrace. Very nice welcome at the bar too. 15 minutes by car from Ocean Drive."
"Our experience was very bad. Check in took 30 minutes. We went to the beach to discover there was NO BEACH CHAIRS available. Just terrible. We had to lay on our towels in the sand. The front desk person was a trainee and did not have the correct knowledge of the rooms as she said one of our rooms had a partial beach view when in fact it had a front beach view. The other room she said had a partial view when in fact it had NO BEACH view. You had to go onto the terrace to see a sliver of water at the extreme left."
"Good location ….front office staff depended on who served you .. some were really friendly & others not so much. Food was good & the restaurant was nice & had friendly staff but give the breakfast a miss … It was awful. Rooftop pool was nice but no shade & no one put the umbrellas up & the bar was closed … not a staff member in sight! Shame cause it’s a nice area. Our rooms were in the old building & desperately need a Reno & facelift …. Overall it was just ok."
"My stay at The Gates was very good! The cleaning, the facilities and the location were perfect. They offered a cookie as a welcome that was fantastic! Just two things that didn’t happened as planned was the 35 dollars resort fee per day that I didn’t realize that I was supposed to pay and that the room’s door doesn’t work properly and left me outside of the room for an hour. But, as a compensation, they aloud me to stay an hour later at the check out."
"The service was amazing! We were there to celebrate my husband’s 65th birthday. My son frequents there for business and highly suggested this property! The food was awesome; just expensive! The hotel was simply beautiful. Everyone was very friendly and cordial. Will definitely return."

GGuest UserThe decoration is very unique, the front desk is warm and considerate, and the dinner is too expensive. We ordered breakfast, which is at 11 o'clock, but we were not allowed to enter at 10:50. This is very unsatisfactory.

AAndreAlthough the hotel is quite new with modern facilities, it is worn down, especially furniture on the rooftop.
The room was quite small, windows dirty and on the half 4th floor young students who partied with music, telco in the hallway, smashing doors at 4am.
Fitness room and pools too small.
Serena Rest/bar quite good.
Staff is top.

CChalsey LBoulan South Beach – Honest Review
I recently stayed at Boulan South Beach and overall had a great experience, with a few minor drawbacks.
Positives:
The location is fantastic—just one block from the beach and in a very walkable area surrounded by great restaurants and bars. The hotel itself offers solid amenities, including a small but relaxing rooftop pool with a bar. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at Orange Blossom, the on-site restaurant. The food was excellent, and I’d highly recommend checking it out even if you’re not staying at the hotel.
The rooms are well-appointed, apartment-style suites that feel spacious and thoughtfully designed. I also appreciated how quiet the rooms were—perfect for getting a good night’s sleep after a day out.
Negatives:
That said, I was disappointed by the bed. The listing advertised a pillow-top mattress, but the bed was far from comfortable and fell short of our expectations. Also, for a room that otherwise felt luxurious, the lack of bathrobes was a small detail that would’ve really rounded out a luxurious experience.
Additionally, while the room was clean, some of the design choices were lovely but weren’t the most practical for a hotel setting. The cloth-upholstered bed frame, while stylish, showed some staining—fabric furniture can be hard to keep looking fresh in a high-turnover “fun” environment. Similarly, the jute rug added visual texture but proves to be difficult to clean and showed signs of wear.
Final Thoughts:
Boulan South Beach is a solid choice if you’re looking for a stylish, well-located hotel in South Beach with great amenities and a quieter, more refined atmosphere. Just be aware of a few comfort and design trade-offs. It really is too bad, because Boulan is excellent on so many things and I would 100% go back and definitely recommend this hotel to others… However, the bed quality really brought down the overall appeal. If they can improve that one aspect, this would easily be a top-tier stay in South Beach.

EElena DzutsevaThe best hostel on Miami Beach! Cozy common area: lobby, bar, courtyard with a pool. Everything is very beautiful! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable! In addition to comfortable private beds with personal lighting and a shelf, there is a common sofa, tables, fairly large lockable personal lockers. The room has two toilets with a shower. The staff is very friendly, always ready to help! The room is cleaned daily, you can easily change your towel at the reception, you can also get a beach towel there. There is a bus stop next to the hostel (including express 150 to the airport). I stayed in several hostels in Miami - this one is definitely the best in all respects! I highly recommend it! I myself stayed here twice! Never had any complaints!
TtangweidongVery close to the Miami Beach Convention Center, all aspects are OK, I paid the money in Ctrip, and when I got to the hotel, he would like me how much I have more than 100 yuan, my English is not very good, the negotiation is not clear, I can only give

TtlapeachFor me, the number one priority for a stay is cleanliness. Overall, our first impression of cleanliness in the hotel was a bit poor when you enter the hallway with an extremely dirty, dust-filled carpet. Upon entering the room, it looked fine - clean but very old-looking. The material on the chairs was peeling off. The bathroom was clean enough, but I still did not want to go barefoot in the shower. Note that all the towels are jet black, so you get piece of mind knowing that no stains will show up on them if there are any: Take that information however you want to interpret it. However our biggest grievance was that there was a small bloodstain on the bedsheets. I still trusted that it was probably clean and simply just a stain, but nevertheless… Gross.
Overall, it’s fine as budget room. You get what you pay for. If you lower your standards enough, this place will do.
On the other hand, the location was fantastic. Close to the beach and walking distance to quite a lot of fantastic restaurants.

LLucho RodriguezI can confidently give this dog-friendly hotel a well-deserved five-star rating, as our experience there was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly, and their friendliness and helpfulness were evident throughout our stay.
Our furry friend was treated like a VIP. The hotel’s commitment to being dog-friendly was remarkable, and our pet felt right at home from the start.
Beyond the pet-friendly aspect, the hotel itself was a true delight. The pool area offering a refreshing escape with nice music.
The rooms were consistently clean, and the pleasant scent that permeated the hotel created a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. It was evident that the staff took great care to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests.
As we returned for our third visit, our love for this place only grew stronger. If you’re seeking a dog-friendly haven where exceptional service, a beautiful ambiance, and pristine rooms converge, look no further. This hotel is an absolute gem that we can’t help but adore.
