We stayed in Renaissance Zurich during two very hot summer days. It is a great city hotel, located in Zurich’s brownfield area (old industrial zone with blend of old factories and new architecture), outside of the city center but well connected. In Zurich, nothing is too far away. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. AC was adequate (temperature didnt go below 24C qt full power). Spa area and gym was great with unique views of the city (there are not many tall buildings in the city to get such a birds eye view on the old industrial area of Zurich. Beware that some guests go fully clothed into the sauna.

There was no employee at all, so the entrance door was not opened at check-in and many guests were in trouble because they could not enter the hotel.

This hotel has a push. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The hot water is very hot. There is free black tea water and coffee on the first floor. The breakfast is also very good.
