We booked this guesthouse on Trip.com in advance for our self-driving trip to the Taihang Grand Canyon during the Spring Festival. The overall experience was warm and hassle-free. The owner provides butler-style service, proactively calling to confirm our needs before our arrival and even coming to the parking lot to help with our luggage after we got there. The service was thoughtful and attentive. The guesthouse is located on the north side of Linzhou Taihang Grand Canyon, only 5 kilometers from the scenic area, making it very convenient for self-driving. There's a public parking lot about 1 kilometer south that supports EV charging, which is very friendly for self-driving tourists. I stayed in a lake-view king room, which came with a huge scenic balcony offering an expansive view directly facing the beautiful Taihang mountain scenery. The views in the morning and evening were particularly therapeutic. The only minor drawback was that the indoor space was a bit compact, and the bathroom layout was similar to an RV design – fully functional but a bit cramped. The dining experience was a big plus. Breakfast could be delivered directly to the room, with a rich variety of fresh ingredients that tasted simple yet delicious. The guesthouse also offers lunch and dinner, with authentic local flavors and good value for money. What delighted my child the most was a gentle and friendly dog living at the guesthouse, which added a lot of fun to our trip. Overall, it's a cozy guesthouse very suitable for family road trips and getting closer to nature.

The room is large, the bathroom is large, the hot water is very sufficient, and the red flag canal comes down to take a hot bath and is comfortable. The waiter in the dining room on the third floor is very enthusiastic, the product is good, and the price is affordable. There are also many varieties of buffet breakfast. The downside is that the air conditioning control switch in the room is relatively small, and it took a long time to find it, which is not very practical.

Dongluyuan Hotel had been on my wishlist for a long time, and this time I finally visited the Taihang Mountains with my friends and stayed at this beautifully designed hotel. The hotel's design clearly demonstrates the designer's fusion of humanity and nature, South and North, East and West. Nestled at the foot of the Taihang Mountains, it incorporates the mountain scenery into its landscape; the ubiquitous slate is a testament to its rural roots; pavilions and flowing water cleverly blend with the southern garden style; the Western restaurant combines with the courtyard's orchard, rockery, and earthen kiln, adding a touch of European style. With such a beautiful view, I initially thought the food would be mediocre, but Dongluyuan's dining truly impressed us. Local ingredients combined with the chef's fusion cuisine skills resulted in two days of trying various dishes on the menu, all of which were delightful surprises! The Chinese restaurant was particularly outstanding! The Western restaurant also had a wonderful atmosphere; the kiln-baked pizza oven was perfectly heated, and the pizza crust was perfectly fermented—better than many chain restaurants! The service was impeccable, with attentive butler service. All our needs were met quickly, and the gentle attitude made us feel very comfortable. The room offers stunning views of the Taihang Mountains and Taihang Pavilion. If I had to make a suggestion, I'd appreciate a separate shower and toilet area in the bathroom, a humidifier for winter, and a chair and small table on the balcony – such a beautiful view would be perfect for two people to enjoy tea together. The room is really big, the bed is two 1.5 meters and very spacious. Health is not bad. Service soft power needs to be improved. First, I went to the restaurant on the second floor to prepare for dinner at night. I told me to wait for more than an hour. It is recommended to go out to eat. It is raining outside. Second, the breakfast restaurant did not inform the guests in advance to collect the tableware, walked to the door and was stopped to collect the tableware, saying that the preparation of the wedding banquet was not enough, which made a little embarrassing.

This road trip to the Taihang Mountains was based on a friend's recommended route and hotel. Starting from Baoquan, we took the Baoshang Road, passing through Heimaogou Highway 1. The scenery along the way was indeed beautiful. The hotel room was very spacious, and the most pleasant surprise was the fully automated smart control system. Lights, curtains, and air conditioning could all be controlled by voice – a truly high-tech experience. The bedding and zero-pressure pillows were fantastic; I didn't want to get up once I lay down. The breakfast was plentiful, with a wide variety of fruits, whole grains, and Western pastries, and the food was delicious – even better than our dinner. The lovely owner was incredibly warm and attentive, and she proactively recommended several driving routes, including less crowded, scenic spots and the best photography locations. Thanks to my friend's recommendation, we weren't disappointed – fantastic!

Service: The landlord is enthusiastic and introduced us to the surrounding and local conditions Environment: The yard is not along the road, clean. The road into the small courtyard is clean. Pear trees and fig trees are planted in the yard, and there is a large terrace. Clean and tidy. But this is a mountainous area with many mosquitoes. Zimo room: 3 large beds, there is a TV in the middle, the room is relatively large, the bed is also very big, a bed should sleep 2 people. The roof is the spire of the log, and the log on the roof has black things falling on the white sheets from time to time. The toilet is a bit small and the towels need to be improved.

The bed was incredibly soft, and the pillows were incredibly comfortable. I fell asleep quickly after a tiring day. The service was also excellent. I arrived around 9:00 PM, and the hallway was fragrant as I went upstairs. Upon entering the room, I found the air conditioning already on and the mineral water was ice-cold. When I woke up in the morning, I could see the mountain view from the large floor-to-ceiling windows. It was a super comfortable stay. I feel like the owner has put a lot of effort into it. Originally booked a basic room type, but after arriving at the store, the boss directly helped us upgrade to the viewing room, and also intimately introduced the surrounding food and play guides. The upgraded room is really amazing, the floor-to-ceiling windows can see the mountain view in the distance, the night is very quiet, the bedding is very comfortable. The overall decoration of the homestay is very stylish and the atmosphere is full. The sanitation is spotless, all equipped with disposable supplies, and the details are full. High cost performance, highly recommended to friends who want to come here to relax!
