Mountain View Hotels in New Taipei City

I decided to stay one night in Jiufen and decided to stay at this place. -The room is extremely clean with all amenities (except disposable ones which is available in a mailbox outside the next room). - Dehumidifier, fan and aircon are provided. Great for drying your items Bathroom has plenty of hangers and space to wash up after a hike. -The view is amazing with a peaceful environment where you hardly hear any noise from your neighbours. - Communication with owner is clear , precise and there is a video to the room as well.  Nice to see Jiufen in the night where everyone has gone home if you do an evening walk. However, do note the path to the room is unlighted in the night as there are unoccupied rooms and homes around it. so bring your own torch or phone torch to guide you. The climb is steep and winding. 

Love the vibes! It’s spacious and comfortable, able to accommodate 4 adults! Owner will msg you via WhatsApp on the day for check-in as they will need to know your mode of transportation to Jiufen. They will pick you up personally on the day of arrival to advise you the direction of their place. Do note that some of their rooms are not connected together. For my case, I’ve booked 2 rooms. My room and my mom’s room is about 5 mins walk. Might be an hassle if you are traveling with your family. It wasn’t an issue for me as we’re able-bodied. This is definitely not for everyone especially if you planned to bring pram and many luggages. Please travel light here.. the stairs to your room are uneven , wet and steep. Owner provides simple breakfast and deliver to you in the morning. Very warming..

If you visit on a rainy day, the staff can take the initiative to take you to visit the nearby museum or art exhibits. The location is quiet but remote. It would be nice if there is a shuttle to nearby Jiufen or Shifen. One shuttle a day is enough. The breakfast is very rich, great! The staff took the initiative to take care of the elderly, great!

The owner is super friendly! The room was very clean and comfortable. It's located right in Jiufen Old Street. I recommend parking your car or scooter at Shengming Temple, then taking the shortcut downhill to the guesthouse's back door. Just call the owner when you get to the back door and they'll open it for you! It's also very convenient for solo travelers. The room provides mineral water, drinks, and snacks. The best part is the amazing view! You can enjoy the beautiful scenery from your room even if you don't want to go out and brave the crowds in the old street.

The room was huge, and opening the door led right to the beach, which was incredibly convenient. There was even a shower facility right outside the door, ensuring we didn't track sand back into the room. The kids absolutely loved it, and the whole family was very satisfied.

This hotel offers beautiful ocean views from both the room and the balcony, which made the stay especially relaxing. The buffet breakfast was excellent—actually better than the one at the previous 4-star hotel we stayed at in Da’an, Taipei. I really appreciate the effort the hotel puts into providing a quality breakfast, so kudos to the chef and the team. The à la carte meals are also reasonably priced and offer a good selection of dishes. We only stayed for two days, which felt a bit rushed. I wish we had stayed longer to fully enjoy everything the hotel restaurant has to offer. Very friendly and polite reception staff.

Service is very good! ! Very kind environment is very beautiful, you can see the night view and the mountain view Breakfast is also delicious! ! ! I highly recommend everyone to have time to play very close to the old street. The experience is very good.

The hotel boasts a great location, within walking distance to the old town. The rooms are exquisite and elegant, perfect for couples. The indoor hot spring bath is spacious with natural spring water, and the outdoor public hot spring offers a beautiful setting.

Upon check in there are too many staff during our check in in front desk but no one dare to ask for assistance unless you are the one will initiate it, i have been in different hotels before but this kind of service in the front desk is common i just don’t want to address it’s too obvious, they need more training maybe., one guy is very well in speaking in english is the one can show up hospitality the other is i don’t know, the room is narrow but we still find way to make ourselves comfortable since we will be staying for just a night enough to rest. The breakfast is good the staff is very good we understand the language is a little bit complicated but we appreciated the effort to communicate we love them for that they are much more good having interaction with their guest unlike in front desk. The sauna is out of order during our stay so we didn’t feel it’s kinda value for money since most of the facilities is out of service.

Decent and comfortable room in a very good location close to the main Walking Street, although the hotel is not very new and modern. Walking distance to the city's major attractions and hiking trails. Good option if you don't expect luxury. A little difficult to find and the hotel staff is not always available at the reception.
