Mountain View Hotels in Batumi

We were accommodated in a sea-view apartment on the 22nd floor. As mentioned earlier, the staff speaks Russian, they're very helpful, and they even offered to help us buy train tickets to Tbilisi! We didn't have meals, so we ate breakfast wherever we could, including downstairs. The staff was equally friendly and helpful. There's also a great cafe in the building next door. The elevators are efficient, with three passenger elevators. The room is spacious, with plenty of room to move around, as is the bathroom. The shower was on IVF, so after you'd thoroughly washed your hair, everyone else wouldn't get a chance, so we had to wait. Our bathroom door also had trouble opening (it kept hitting the floor), and the sink leaked. In the shower, unless you hold the shower head in your hand, it would pour down the glass onto the edge and the floor. But it wasn't a big deal, and we got used to it. Towels were changed daily, and bed linens every three days. Mosquitoes sometimes fly onto the floor, so be aware. The bathroom has a heated towel rail, which is convenient. The balcony had room for two chairs, so you can sometimes sit there and drink wine. The old town (ski lift) is just an hour's walk away. We walked along the embankment every day; it's very large and beautiful! Near the hotel there are many currency exchange offices, shopping centers, fresh bread, shops, etc. We are happy with our choice and recommend it.

The place is good and well-organized, with everything you need like a washing machine, iron, and a small kitchen. It's clean, but not the best. The location is excellent, close to restaurants, cafes, and tourist areas within walking distance. The only issue I had was that after the apartment was cleaned, my pajamas went missing. I asked at the reception, and they said the cleaning staff wasn't there. Since check-out was early in the morning, I gave them my number to contact me if they found them. Honestly, this whole thing made me uneasy; if pajamas can be stolen, what about other belongings? I was a bit stressed and insisted on following up to see if there would be any action, but unfortunately, they didn't care at all and didn't take the matter seriously. If you book here, make sure to keep an eye on your belongings and don't let anyone in to clean.

Excellent location within walking distance of everything, courteous and very helpful and patient staff. Tremendous service team especially at front desk and in the restaurant at breakfast who are indeed hardworking and made the 14 days spent there not only a great experience but presented a sumptuous breakfast buffet that few can equal from twenty types of bread and pastries to fresh honey still on the hive tray that you carve out yourself. I was impressed.

Хороший новый отель с бассейном, расположен недалеко от аэропорта и посёлка Гонио, где есть старинная крепость и хороший пляж с чистой водой (на такси минут 10-15). Напротив же самого отеля расположена длинная городская набережная - неособо для купания, но ней приятно прогуляться с утра. В отеле хорошие завтраки. И овощи и фрукты и йогурта и выпечка, кофе натуральный. Персонал вежливый, говорит по-русски. Номер дали с видом на бассейн и море, за что отдельное спасибо. В номере есть все необходимое, включая халаты. До центра города на такси от отеля можно доехать за 10 минут, такси недорогое.

Отель действительно соответствует стоимости межсезонья, отдыхали в январе. В сезон не могу рекомендовать данное размещение, скорее удобный вариант для деловых коротких поездок. Комната чистая, но уставшая. Кровать удобная, постельное чистое. Большой минус - запах канализации в туалете. Чайник есть в общей зоне, холодильника нет, только в столовой зоне персонала, нам разрешили оставлять там продукты. Персонал дружелюбный, отзывчивый. Уборка номера и смена полотенец по запросу. Очень удобное расположение в старом городе, у порта, из окна видно море, везде ходили пешком.

We stayed at Sheraton Batumi Hotel expecting the standard of a global 5-star luxury chain. Unfortunately, while the location is beautiful, the overall experience fell far below expectations. The property’s location, right in front of the beach, is stunning. The views are lovely and the building itself looks impressive. Sadly, the service and operational quality did not match the pricing or brand promise. Here were the key concerns: 1. Language & Service Gaps For a luxury, premium-priced international hotel, it was surprising that several staff members struggled to understand basic English. This made even simple requests unnecessarily complicated. 2. Inedible Food on Day 1 On the day we checked in, we ordered a ciabatta pesto sandwich. The ciabatta was so hard it was impossible to chew. It literally sounded like knocking on wood. We had to remove and eat only the filling. This is basic food quality control that should not fail in a 5-star property. 3. Repeated WiFi Failures Within an hour of check-in, the WiFi stopped working. I had official calls to attend, yet even after 2–3 hours, the issue wasn’t resolved. The next day, the WiFi again went down for 2–3 hours. In a hospitality business today, reliable internet is non-negotiable. There also seemed to be no backup plan or proactive communication. 4. Shower Head Burst - No QC? The following morning, the shower head burst while in use, flooding the bathroom. My belongings got wet and it completely disrupted the morning. When a room is marked “ready,” basic quality checks should ensure fixtures are functional. 5. Breakfast Quality Below Standard The breakfast buffet was largely cold. Vegetarian options were extremely limited. Even the falafel was undercooked. The omelette was overly oily. At the very least, for a globally known chain, one Indian option or more diverse vegetarian choices would have been appreciated. 6. Room Service Delays Ordering water to the room took nearly an hour and required four calls. That level of delay for something so basic is difficult to justify. Overall, while the location is excellent, the service standards, food quality, maintenance checks, and responsiveness did not align with what one expects from a Sheraton property. For the price paid, this was not a luxury experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on operational consistency, staff training, and basic quality control.

We stayed at the hotel in January 2026. The hotel has no radiators, heating only comes from the air conditioner. We were freezing at night (the air conditioner was set to 28 degrees). It was terribly cold and damp. However, the mattresses are high-quality, the linens are clean.

This is not a hotel 4*. This is apartments in a residential complex. The room is normal with balcony, the new is clean enough. There is a mini kitchen and a washing machine. There was no drinking water or simplest things for the kitchen (salt, sponge for dishes, washing machine). Location is good. near the sea, park and mall in step availability. Airport is near Breakfasts are modest. Somehow everything should be hot, cold. Prepared in advance. From delicious tea. This is a good 2* apartment hotel.

Quite interesting place. It is a residential house where a whole 9th floor is located under the hotel. Sea in 2 minutes walk, also a nearby 24-hour supermarket, a large mall, a lot of restaurants. If you live in the rooms on the left side, you can see the sea, the west side.
