"I stayed for two nights, the room is rather small with outdated facilities which are common throughout hotels in northern part of Borneo. The hotel is clean and facilities are sufficient as the typical hotel in Semporna is rather basic. The location is ideal only 10min walk to the front pier, with a 24/7 mcdonald located just across the road! All in all recommend it for a short stay!"

"I had two choices for a summer getaway with my kids: the Maldives or Semporna. Having already been to the Maldives, I chose Semporna. I booked this hotel online in a hurry, about a ten-minute drive from town. I didn't have high hopes, thinking I'd just island hop during the day and return home for a nap. Unexpectedly, this resort offered a completely different experience. The resort is beautiful, and you can tell the owner is dedicated to its management. The accommodations are also excellent and quiet. Every day after island hopping, we'd buy seafood at the seafood market and prepare it back at our accommodation. The owner is from Shunde and the chef is excellent. Our biggest joy every day was returning to our accommodation to enjoy the seafood. The owner's wife was very kind, arranging a car to pick us up from town every day and even washing and drying our clothes. It's a truly wonderful resort. I'll definitely go back if I have the chance."

"It is better to live in the town than in the suburbs. The B&B in the suburbs is far away and you need to take a taxi. There are flying ants at night, and the calls of many animals in nature will be very noisy when sleeping at night. It is very quiet here in the town, not far from KFC, the streets outside are very clean, and even the public toilets inside are clean. There are more foreigners from Europe and America living here, mainly because it is not expensive! The front desk can't speak Chinese, but they can communicate in simple English. The disadvantage is that the room is small and has no window. It clearly says that there is a window on the room I booked, but they said that the platform wrote it wrong, so they could only give me this one. It doesn't matter, the stay is okay later. The first floor of the second floor is where you eat breakfast, which is also very clean. Two people clean it every day! If next time, I will choose here again!"

"I booked a water house which just opened a short time ago, and I personally think it is very cost-effective. The sea water is crystal clear, the room is clean and tidy, and it has a smart toilet. The meals are buffet style, and the cuisine is Chinese, which can satisfy our Chinese stomach. We also booked an island tour in Mataking the next day and it was very convenient to pick you up at the water house."

If they are disturbed, they are the sound of small animals climbing to the roof or raining. It feels good. 3. There is no traffic jam in the town or the pier for 15 minutes and 25 minutes. Between 8 am and 8 pm, free pick-up and drop-off at any time, and the time is almost the same. If there is more deviation, it will be charged MYR 50 per time, but it is safe but the vehicle is in good condition and it is worth it. 4. The restaurant can arrange processing of seafood, the vehicle is sent to buy, then picked up, and then processed. The start tastes very good, not worse than the pier hotel. The processing fee is also transparent and fair. 5. One day I was uncomfortable, arranged for the vehicle to take meds in time, and came back to make a vegetable soup noodles and eggs according to the requirements. It was very comfortable to eat. I feel that the hotel is a group hotel, quite powerful, the restaurant is large, there are five vans, there are more and bigger plans for the future. There are also many service staff and good attitude. Below are some of the shortcomings I have encountered: 1. The hotel confirmed the email order, the name and date were sent wrong, and the email contacted twice and did not reply. At present, the Malay Customs is friendly to the Chinese and has not been checked. 2. You need to contact in advance to pick up the plane. I hope to reply to the reminder in the email and clearly provide the contact information. It is best to provide WeChat. 3. Set the service butler to fix the WeChat number, there are five butlers in the service group, I really don't know if there is a problem to contact that person. 4. I changed the bath towels twice during the five-day stay. During the period, I asked to clean the ground and it has not been cleaned. 5. During the period, the vehicle needs to be picked up, and the waiting time is up to 70 minutes, and the reason is not informed in time. Just stood at the KFC gate for 50 minutes. If there is a situation in time, at least you can take a break nearby. 6. The hotel is still a bit far from the pier and the town. There is a vehicle transfer to make up for it, but the price positioning is still slightly higher. The price is the same as the Sheraton Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. As this is my birthday trip, so excited the restaurant moved to the middle of the sea like the chairs, tables and food! Whole guests join together! Amazing experience! Asked me what favourite colour because they prepared your favourite colour cake! Really memorable!"
