Mountain View Hotels in Hue

The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment. The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities). The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink! The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally). During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know! The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked. On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”. We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave. The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive. When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, but it has a fast and convenient access to the old city - about 25 minutes walk or 15 minutes by bike. Bicycles can be taken completely free of charge at the hotel itself. The room was just wonderful! Clean, comfortable and beautiful. Specially liked the sliding window. The administrator was polite and responsive, gave his recommendations for the city's best restaurants. I definitely recommend for travelers who prefer quiet and relaxed rest away from the tourist vacation

Having stayed at a Banyan Tree resort in the past, I had high expectations of this resort and I have to say, it did not disappoint me in one bit. Firstly, I have to mention the exceptional service. There is not a single thing the staff are not prepared to do in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Being a Muslim traveller, we had some concerns regarding the halal aspect of the menu. But I'm glad to say that the chefs understood the requirements and accommodated us flawlessly. We stayed in the pool beach villa for my daughter's 27th birthday, we booked two side by side. The villa itself was sensational. Getting up in the morning, walking on your own patio to your private pool, a stone throw away from the sandy beach, it's literally heaven on earth. Again, I will go back to the service levels because this is what truly makes Banyan Tree the special brand that it is. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your caring. Special mention to Nhi, Hung and Tan for making it extra special. The only downside is that it's slightly off the beaten track. A night out in Danang is a 2 hour round trip. But we spent the first 5 days of our holiday doing all the exploring and Banyan Tree Lang Co was the perfect wind down before heading home. I highly recommend anyone looking for a luxury escape in Vietnam, pick this place!

This is a little slice of heaven! 😍 The hotel is wonderful for a family vacation – quiet and peaceful 🏝️. There are activities like ATVs, jet skis, and paddleboards to enjoy ☺️. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive 🥰. A special thank you to George, who speaks Russian! ☺️ It was so comfortable having someone who understood us and helped with many questions! 😇

Lovely resort, 2 very clean pools, beachfront, villas are very well presented, 2 TV’s, free WiFi, very good restaurant food items. Location is the only negative as there is nothing close bar a couple of very small lunch/ bar places for locals. Bay restaurants were closed when we were there.

In the hotel beautiful antique furniture, we had a room with a balcony and a beautiful view to the city, all the sights in the pedestrian accessibility, photos on the site correspond to the reality

We love this place. We had a beautiful spacious wooden cabin with a balcony overlooking the Pearl River. Phi, the manager looked after us splendidly and could not have done more. We locked ourselves out, he came up in his buggy, we forgot something, he came up in his buggy; he had a cooked sliced steak take-away breakfast with dragon fruit ready at 6.45am and a taxi. Thank you Phi and team! We come back one April to see the tombs and pagodas we missed.
