The Front desk sometimes is good but most of time they are talking to each other or using their phone if you ask something they were defending….. remember this is a kind of hotel , customers first. I even witnessed a young woman taking vending machine food and drink and say wait I am hungry.🤣🤣🤣🤣laughing out loud. The place is in the east of Munich…. If you like to spend time and energy walking …. Friday and Saturday night are not quiet because this area is new suburbs and many construction is under going and also bars and pubs ……But one thing good is their resting area very relaxing and chilling.

I liked my stay at a Wombat. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Cleaning comes every day. Kitchen is rather big and cozy. The stay was lovely. I would recommend this hostel and will come back again ☺️ thank you

Incredible location, great staff, fun atmosphere.

When I got to the reception to check out, I was told that I need to take the bed sheet, otherwise, I can’t check out. However, this request was not told to me when I checked in, and it caused inconvenience to me since I need to go to the airport as soon as possible

The environment is quiet, with convenient transport links and good hygiene conditions. However, the bathroom lacks higher-positioned hooks, making it inconvenient to hang trousers. The water barrier ***** in the shower area is too low, causing water to easily spread to other areas during use. Overall, the experience was pleasant.

Everything was good. The toilet need find a way to improve as after shower, the water will flow to dry bathroom, it will make the others users feel uncomfortable, and the floor is wet😄. Have a great experience on my staying

One of my favourite hostels ever. It has a great location, delicious breakfast, super clean, and a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it!

I accidentally booked this hostel by mistake instead of the other Wombats hostel closer to the Old Town. I found there wasn't a lot to do in the area as a tourist and would take the metro back to Old Town everyday. The other Wombats is also close by the bus station. Decent kitchen facilities and the cafe downstairs was nice to relax in or do some work on my laptop. Breakfast there in the morning was a decent option too. They had a laundry room, but it seemed expensive and needlessly complicated. Needed €8 in 50c coins to operate the washer and dryer - each! Maybe they had a system to collect all these coins. I didn't ask as it wasn't worth it regardless. Dorm bed had charger, Privacy curtain, light, and a small security box which was handy to have, as well as a larger luggage box below.

This place completely changed my idea of a hostel. Everyone was helpful, the facilities were accessible and with many common spaces for people to chill. The breakfast is good for the price you pay. It is very near to a metro station and is surrounded with lots of food and drinks options. If you like to party it will be even more fun to be in that area! Thanks to everyone for making us enjoy our stay in Munich!
