Central Hotel

Cons: 1. Housekeeping needs improvement. There were strands of hair from an unknown person in the toothbrush holder on the sink (see picture). 2. The facilities are quite old. The tissue box and storage trays are all leather, and they're peeling but still in use. Has a five-star hotel fallen to this state? The hotel's toiletries are very poor (see picture). 3. The room was extremely hot. There was no way to adjust the ventilation or temperature. 4. This is the most unbearable part: your so-called 'window' should be clearly labeled as an 'inner window.' It doesn't ventilate or allow air in. The air conditioning couldn't be adjusted, making it stuffy and hot. The 'window' in the room overlooked the hotel lobby, not outside! This wasn't mentioned in the room details. If I had known, I wouldn't have booked this room type (see picture). Pros: 1. Great value for money. The price was indeed cheap. 2. It's very close to Deji Plaza, right across the street. 3. The breakfast was decent and quite varied. Your handmade steamed buns are delicious – I highly recommend them! The hotel's own buns are really good. Summary: The price is cheap, but the facilities are old and a bit rundown. The restaurant advertises itself as the closest five-star hotel to Deji Plaza, but it's too dilapidated. The inner window looks directly into the hotel's tea bar, so you can make eye contact with people.

The hotel environment is excellent, and the staff are all very enthusiastic. They upgraded our room for the second night, which made the kids really happy. The breakfast was plentiful. Definitely worth staying here again next time I'm in Nanjing.

A quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The hotel was peaceful, and the service was fantastic. They even have self-service laundry, which was a huge plus. Definitely exceeds a four-star rating!

My mother, my daughter, and I were heading to Hainan to escape the winter cold and decided to make a stop in Nanjing. We chose the Central Hotel primarily for its excellent location, but what truly impressed me was the service! First, since it was my mother's birthday, the hotel surprised us with a complimentary cake. Second, Ms. Dong, a staff member on the 6th floor, repeatedly checked in to see if we needed any assistance and even helped us extend our check-out time. This allowed my elderly mother more time to rest, and we're so grateful! The room was spacious and very clean, and the WiFi signal was good.

I stayed for three days. The room wasn't big but it was very refined and clean, you could tell a lot of money was spent on the renovation back in the day. The pillows weren't comfortable, and the toothbrushes, shower gel, and shampoo were of poor quality; there was no razor. Deji Plaza is right across the street, where Fan XX was reportedly seen, and I used the million-dollar restroom there. The subway station is also convenient, making it easy to get to any scenic spot in Nanjing. Definitely avoid the buffet, it's not worth it.
