Nanjing Gulou District Hotels

I recently stayed at this hotel, which just opened in September 2024, and I was thoroughly impressed. Everything is brand new and fresh, living up to the standard Ascott style of elegance and comfort. The location is absolutely perfect for my needs, making it incredibly convenient for both work and leisure. On top of that, the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The modern design, pristine facilities, and warm service make this a top choice.

Amazing stay for 3 nights! Extremely clean, tidy and well maintained. Well mannered, attentive to detail and respectful conceige & house keeping staff. Especially Zhang Wei & Han Wen who helped us greatly. They made our stay feel safe & secured. Will recommend anyone coming to Nanjing to stay here. A short 7-10 mins stroll to the main area of xinkiekou. 5 stars!

Friendly staff! Great location too. Amazing view of the mountain. That said, the AC didn’t work. We requested for it to be fixed and they told us to merely open the window. Also the pool was closed which isn’t that big of a deal but I wish that could be expressed in advance.

The exceptional front desk service provided by Ms. Xiao Chen 前台小陈 and her reception team for their warm hospitality and dedication to ensuring our comfort is highly commendable. Their commitment to excellence set a high standard for our entire stay. The unexpected upgrade from a Sunshine Superior Room to a Deluxe Suite was a delightful surprise that exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail shown by housekeepers such as Ms. Langxia 客房服务员郎霞 and Ms. Hengli 客房服务员恒丽 was truly remarkable. Their thoughtful touches, such as greeting notes, cookies, milk, flowers, and fruits arranged with care, made us feel valued and appreciated. Our experience at Jinfan Wanyuan Hotel was exceptional, and we eagerly anticipate our next visit. A big Thank You to the hotel for providing such a welcoming and memorable environment for us!

Very comfortable stay, easy to deliver takeaway food with their cute robot machine which delivers to your doorstep, also spacious room with clean toilet and instant warm water, it was a good experience and I would choose this location if I come to Nanjing again. We chose a non smoking room and there was no smoke smell at all the corridors or room

The environment is good, the breakfast is remarkable, and it takes 5 minutes to walk to Deji Square. There was a sewer smell when we entered the room. After reporting it to the front desk, they came to help us solve it quickly and provided suggestions for changing rooms. The service was very good.

Nanjing Xinjiekou Manting Garden Hotel is in an excellent location, close to Xinjiekou Station of Metro Line 1/2, and convenient for travel. The hotel's design style is modern and simple, incorporating natural elements. The green wall and art decoration in the lobby are refreshing. The rooms are moderate in size, the bedding is comfortable, and some room types are equipped with smart home devices, but there is occasional noise in the street-facing rooms. The staff is enthusiastic and responsive. The rooftop terrace garden is a highlight, overlooking the night view of the city. There are abundant dining and shopping options around, and the cost-effectiveness is high in the city center, suitable for business travelers and young tourists. There are rich breakfast varieties, and it is generally recommended.

Nanjing has been one of the go to places for me. The hotel is located at the center surrounded with shopping malls.

The service was amazing, everyone really did their best to communicate with me and explain me everything, even with the language barrier and everyone was really friendly. You can simply tell the hosts on WeChat, wether you need a restock or cleaning or changed bed sheets which was very comfortable. The Hotel is on a smaller campus within a huge sports campus with only one exit, meaning that for every trip you had to walk around the campus which took about 15 minutes. This came with the benefit of less street noise though. The Hotel itself is situated close to the city center and it took 15 minutes of walking to the next subway station.

The room is very spacious, with one bedroom, one living room and two bathrooms, but the facilities are a bit old, and the TV signal was lost while I was watching. Walking out of the campus is the Hanzhongmen subway station, with convenient transportation. There is a parking lot inside, which is very convenient for self-driving parking, but the road at the entrance is too congested. It took more than half an hour to turn around and enter the school gate across the road at noon. The window of the room faces the school playground. There is a water pump-like device in a row of bungalows next to the playground, which works 24 hours a day, and the double-glazed glass can't block the buzzing sound. The breakfast is very simple, and it can be full if you don't have high requirements.
