Nanjing Xuanwu District Hotels

Great value for a 5-star hotel! Rooms are spacious and decor is nice, the included buffet breakfast offers a lot of variety and is tasty. The hotel is located right behind the Nanjing Museum, is “close” to the Ming Tombs, and is close to the Ming Koo Kung subway station which provides easy access to many sights in Nanjing. There is even a street food bazaar right next door! The only downside of this hotel is that it does not offer a free laundry room.

The hotel is located in the center of Nanjing, near the Daxingong station, it is very convenient. It is a very modern hotel with good amenities and the breakfast is good. The only problem is that the space in the bathroom is a bit small.

My first day wasn't very pleasant. However, when the hotel customer service knew that I wasn't entirely satisfied with my stay, they tried to understand the situation and tried their very best to redeem themselves and fulfill my needs.

Excellent value hotel. The staff is very friendly, despite the language barrier.  Very convenient location for access to transit, food, shopping, or tourism.

The newly opened hotel has a great environment, the lobby is spacious and bright, and antique. The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, the front desk lady is very enthusiastic, and helped us upgrade the room type. I was very satisfied with the stay! The breakfast is also quite rich, the transportation is convenient, and there is free parking. It's a good experience!

The overall environment and service of the hotel are good, but there is a problem that affects the experience during the stay: the corridor window outside the room door has been open for a long time. I just closed it, which caused flying insects to gather in the corridor area. (I don't understand why they don't have something like a screen window) Every time I open the door, there are always big flies that take the opportunity to fly into the room. I had to deal with 4 of them repeatedly in two days. I think that only adding a screen window can solve this problem. I hope the hotel can pay attention to this detail to avoid causing the same trouble to subsequent guests.

Hardware🏰The hotel lobby displays award certificates of various luxury hotels, which is indeed worthy of its name. The old money style is strong, and the high floor-to-ceiling doors are particularly tasteful, whether it is the room, the lobby, or the entire hotel complex. They are all absolutely high-end and tasteful. The room card is made of wood, and even the various hangers in the guest room are rarely seen elsewhere. Facilities🎪It is a golf course itself, so there is an excellent camping site, but it feels that the camping site is not popular yet; the children's playground is one of the best I have ever seen in a hotel. It is not a perfunctory slide in a corner, but a designed venue, as well as outdoor karts and climbing areas. The swimming pool has a glass roof, and the sun shines into the water, which is particularly beautiful. There is also a small hot spring pool. The child was paralyzed after soaking in it, and fell asleep at night. 😄😄 Service❤️The front desk lady, I don’t know if her surname is Quan, saw that the child was about to cry waiting, and she thoughtfully coordinated to help upgrade to a room with a balcony, which was particularly great. The children love to bask in the sun on the balcony. During the May Day holiday, there were iron flower and fire pot performances in the evening. All in all, this was the most satisfying hotel during this trip to Nanjing, and a very happy accommodation experience.

Overall it's very good. The location of the hotel is pretty good. It's quite close to Xinjiekou Deji. You can just take a walk back after dinner in the evening. Although it's next to the road, it's ok to sleep at night. You can't hear any noise. And the smart home equipment in the room is very good (˵¯͒〰¯͒˵). It's just that the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, so it's not easy to put clothes when taking a shower. Although there is a clothesline on the side, water may still splash on the clothes. So it would be better if there is a grid or something to put clothes. The front desk lady and the cleaning lady are super nice～～ (put a photo taken during an evening walk😘)

The VIP building is a low-rise annex building next to the main building. It is newly renovated and the rooms are not big, but the facilities are good. The electronic toilet and electric towel rack are very good. There is a Taizhou morning tea house in the courtyard, which opens at 7 o'clock. The most good thing is the free museum at the entrance-Lizhi Society. It is quiet but the exhibition hall is very delicate. There are furnishings of Chiang Kai-shek and his wife living here to entertain guests, and it also shows historical clips of the trial of Japanese war criminals. It is worth seeing.

The hotel is newly renovated and has a very Republican feel. The front desk service is very considerate. As a Ctrip Diamond member, they helped upgrade the room type when I checked in. When I checked out the next day, I felt that the pillow was very comfortable to sleep on and wanted to buy one. Miss Zhang Ningwan, who is beautiful and kind, actively helped to communicate and contact us~ When I come to Nanjing again, I will stay in this hotel again. I am very satisfied with all aspects~ ps, the food in Nanjing is also great!
