Walking through the bustling commercial street and arriving at the guesthouse, I immediately understood why it was named 'Between' (之间 - 'Zhī Jiān' in Chinese, implying a transition or being 'in between' two things). In a flash, you're transported into a world of intangible cultural heritage. The street with its grey bricks and tiles starkly contrasts with the white commercial street behind it; it truly offers a tranquil haven amidst the hustle and bustle. After checking in, I immediately wanted to extend my stay in the same room, but unfortunately, it was Friday and the room was already booked. I loved it so much and wanted to stay longer, so I used my Ctrip membership benefit for a 2 PM late check-out. I'm truly grateful that the owner agreed, even though the guesthouse was fully booked. The young lady at the front desk was very pretty and provided excellent service, and the cleaning auntie was also great. They even notified me immediately when I left something behind in the room. Just 100 meters away, there's a breakfast spot where you can get a bowl of porridge for 5 yuan and unlimited side dishes – truly a bargain! I'll definitely come back to stay here if I get the chance!
