The room was clean and smellless and well ventilated. The hotel's free rounds and check-out quickly saved a lot of time, very convenient, and free parking. Every time there is a parking space in the past, the room is equipped with electric mosquito liquid, especially the weather has begun to heat up recently, mosquitoes will appear, and electric mosquito liquid is very effective. The location is good, very close to the subway entrance and bus station, and very close to the Haohe River. The room is spacious and comfortable, the equipment is smart, and the breakfast is relatively rich, with both Western and Chinese styles. The front desk will greet you warmly when you enter and leave, and tea is served when you sit in the lobby waiting for the bus. I chose this hotel because I wanted a staycation with an open air swimming pool. The room was big and spacious, with a beautiful balcony (but not on the swimming pool). The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower and all around the room there were little surprises such as fish food to use for the pond fish, little mottos in both chinese and english, bathgel and other toiletries. What was not evident, though, is that some of this things were not for free! The big bottle of water that we expected to be free (5star hotel, 500 yuan per room!!) was indeed not, and it was written in extremely fine prints on the bottle. Same for the tea leaves in the teaset!
Another disappointment was the breakfast. The choice and quality were ok, but definitely not at a 5-star hotel level. No choice in sweet bread, no coffee and very little variety of fruits.

We have enjoyed our stay very much. The lobby staff Anna and Lily were extremely friendly and very professional. English speaking was no problem at all. The location of the Hotel is also very good, very close by Harmony City Shopping Mall with endless Clothes and Food shopping opportunities. We booked the “Space” themed room which was very detailed and beautiful equipped 👌 The breakfast was a good average. Nothing special. Next to the breakfast lounge is a Kids room which was the favorite place for our son 👦. Overall our stay was very enjoyable. We are looking forward for our next stay at Ascott 👍

NNazzieStayed at this hotel for the second time in a month because we had an early train to catch from Nantong Railway Station. Service and room were great again. Explored their gym and laundry room which were fully stocked with whatever we needed. Will recommend to family and friends.

CChrisHaven't been impressed with a hotel this cheap in years. Where do I start? Lots of shops and restaurants around. Newly built metro line with a station (Nantong University) within walking distance and as of the writing of this post free to use. Lobby was large and impressive. The in-room balcony was also beautiful, too bad it was too cold to really use it. The big windows gave nice views of Nantong University and I can only assume saves the company loads on energy consumption. The bed was softer than most Chinese mattresses so I slept great. The smart TV allowed me to cast videos from my phone. Robotic deliveries should be the law and this property had one. Some of the deliveries were slow, they could use at least one more robot butler. Although I didn't interact with the staff much they were great and actually seemed like they enjoyed working there.
The mirror is really cool but trying to sleep with that bright was impossible so I covered it up with some little stacked boxes. I couldn't figure out how to turn if off, other than removing the keycard. Wish this place allowed pets: the balcony, flooring, and cheap furniture would make this an ideal facility to stay with a furry bud.
This place is ranked #1 for Nantong on the app and I can see why: Whether you're a budget or luxury traveller, make a reservation here! Hope this is a chain and if I see one in my next destination that's where I'm staying

The slippers are comfortable, the kettle has no water stains, and the drinks in the refrigerator are free to drink except for 2 bottles of mineral water. The bathroom is also very clean, equipped with bath bags and bath salts, smart toilet, that is, the alarm will be sounded when the door lock is closed, and the front desk will re-arrange another room for us. The smart robot will come to deliver the door card and shower cap. The breakfast variety is also rich. I joined Huazhu Club and will stay in this hotel again when I come to Nantong in the future.

Health conditions are OK. It's okay to travel nearby for one night.
But the breakfast is worse, less than other Hanting things.

JJazzaThis is not our first time staying at the island. It’s also not our first time staying in a cabin. We keep coming back because of the fantastic service and friendly welcome inside the cabin. There is a fridge and a kettle. However, I do recommend bringing your own cutlery and crockery and cooking utensils if you plan to use the barbecue facilities. I also recommend that you take all the food that you wish to eat while you’re there with you as other than breakfast. There isn’t much choice in terms of vendors other than some drinks and snacks. There are plenty of things to do each day, some of which will cost you money, some are free. My family, particularly enjoy the big rainbow slide and the play park, which welcomes you with two big red windmills and a very friendly staff member. Overall a fantastic little getaway and somewhere I would definitely recommend for those who are outdoorsy.
