We had a clean and very spacious familyroom, with even a bit of seaview from the balcony. The bathroom was huge. Good location, walking distance from metro, although we mostly walked or used taxis. Friendly, welcoming staff. Warmly recommended

We spent two days in Naples, guests of this hotel. Everything was perfect and attention to detail was taken care of. From the beautiful room, to the hot croissants in the morning, offered by the very kind owner. We will definitely be back. Donatella

Returning to Naples is always pleasant. Coming back for just two days may not be enough but it helps to get back in touch with your memories, especially for those like me who went there as a child during Christmas to visit my paternal grandparents. Seeing the colors again, hearing the scents and voices that are part of your genetic heritage always has its own reason. If you go to this very pleasant three-star hotel in the Chiaia district of Naples, it is an excellent choice. You can get there easily from Garibaldi Station with just three stops on the Metro line 2, getting off at Piazza Amedeo. From there in just 8 minutes on foot you arrive at the Hotel Villa Margherita (or by taking the NC bus that goes up towards Vittorio Emanuele). The owner is very kind, available to provide you with all the necessary information on how to get around and which roads to take to dive into the center of Naples. From there, in a very short time you go down Via dei Mille, Via Filangieri and walking along Vi Chiaia you arrive in the very crowded Via Toledo. But the most beautiful thing is waking up in the morning and looking out over the Gulf of Naples and finding yourself facing the island of Capri. The hotel rooms are large, spotless, comfortable and large bed. The bathroom perhaps with a shower a little too small for my tastes. The coffee with brioche offered before leaving Villa Margherita was excellent. I recommend it to anyone who wants a clean hotel, away from the chaos but very close to the areas to visit. And then, with a spectacular view of the Gulf. If it were me, I would have had a slightly bigger bathroom and I missed the bidet, because after walking, a foot bath would have been perfect. But the view and the welcome are truly unsurpassed.

Ugly and ancient hotel. It is located in Vomero so it is tiring to go up on foot. Poor room cleaning. There are no disposable products in the bathroom. We will never go back there again. Breakfast not buffet but served without choice. Considering the not very low price of the room

The location is excellent, close to the Chiaia funicular, Metro 1 and Metro FS. The view of Capri from the rooms assigned to us is breathtaking. Breakfast is acceptable. The restaurant does not work, although it is advertised. There isn't a bar to get something hot; There is nothing in the room to heat some water. In the afternoon the hotel seems abandoned to itself and is more like a B&B; the good Raffaele shows us good will (we asked for a lemon juice and Raffaele prepared it for us, free of charge), but in the evening there is no minimum service. The bathrooms are equipped with a rudimentary bidet system applied to the vater, very adventurous. Parking is also an adventure: here too it is made up for by Raffaele's good will who, space permitting, made us park the car in makeshift places (but we must consider that we are in Naples); there are garages nearby.

we arrived at the Villa on Saturday 16 July, we were assigned a room with a breathtaking view, but the rest was worse than a tavern, unfortunately with my wife and my 5 year old son upon returning in the evening we noticed that the room was not clean, neglected for some time, greasy and yellowed light switches, greasy remote controls, a finger of dust under the bed, the doors were marked with dirty rags, the aluminum window leading to the panoramic terrace with intersections full of soil and dust, humidity on the walls, sheets with holes present, wall lamps with scratched and dirty lampshades, curtains full of dust, finally in the morning we went out to find the car parked at the entrance, as per the owner's advice, the rear bonnet had been unlocked. Dirty bathroom fixtures with mold on the tiles.
