Located within walking distance of the train station. A house with a few rooms (various types of rooms). It can be noisy! Shared shower and toilets. For an additional fee of 550JPY a western-style breakfast. The owner is very kind and friendly and speaks good English. I definitely recommend this hostel for solo travelers.

Very Good

I used this hotel when I was traveling alone after a breakup. It was fun to talk broken Japanese with foreigners in an unfamiliar place. The toilets and showers are shared, but it's perfect because traveling alone can be lonely!
It's easy to find from Kintetsu Nara Station. I might go again!

The boss is very nice and the service staff are also very nice. There are many European and American families living there. It is not only beautiful but also safe. I will choose here again in the future.

The three-person tatami room we stayed in was quite spacious and a good experience, but the pillows were too low. Breakfast is 500 yen per serving, and a toothbrush is 50 yen for an additional fee. There is a bus stop at the intersection on the left when you go out of the B&B. It is very convenient to take one or two stops to Nara Park for 220 yen. It takes about 25 minutes to walk, but it was too hot so I chose to take a car. The B&B rents bicycles for 500 yen per day (no matter what time you borrow them, you return them that night, not 24 hours a day), and 100 yen per hour. However, the road to Nara Park Road is a bit uphill. I couldn’t ride it, so I didn’t borrow it. The sun was too hot. It’s hard to ride a bike, but you can borrow one if it’s winter. This B&B is full of foreigners. I stayed there for 2 nights and didn’t meet a single Chinese person.

Within walking distance from JR Nara Station
A wonderful inn that is over 100 years old.
"Warmth of the Showa era" that envelops people
There is, naturally, I want to say "I'm home".
Communication is the selling point here.
Local characteristics of Nara, the friendliness of the owner
Combined with the mysterious power of the house
Naturally, conversations are born between travelers, between shopkeepers and travelers.
In Nara, the ruins of Heijokyo are well maintained.
How about revisiting after your school trip?

The owner is a very kind person, and it was a wonderful experience to bathe in the cool breeze alone in the garden at night!
