We stayed one night in FUFU Nara on the way from Tokyo to Kyoto. We took a special train - Aoniyoshi from Kyoto to Nara and it was very enjoyable ride. We took a taxi from Kintetsu Nara station to the hotel. Hotel staff greeted us right away and kept the our luggage for us until the check-in time. It is located next to Ukimido and we were able to visit Todaiji and the giant Buddha before the check-in. Once we return, we had a nice cold welcome drink. Hotel staff were very professional and friendly. It was obvious that they take a great pride on performing their tasks. Our room was super clean and modern with some Japanese touches. And the hot tub on the balcony was amazing. We contemplated between FUFU and the new Shisui, but we were very glad that we chose FUFU. At FUFU, I believe all rooms are suites and come with the private open air onsen. We did read some reviews on the noise. We did not notice too much especially after dodging so many screaming school children at Todaiji. At night, we had teppan yaki dinner for our anniversary. It was pretty cool to dress in yukata with a hanten jacket. The sandals were comfortable, also. We walked through the bamboo garden to get to the restaurant. Our chef was friendly and food was delicious. With sake pairing, we had a great time. Breakfast was served at the same restaurant, and the walk was beautiful in the morning. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. The lady who served us explained each dish very politely. It's hard to believe they are so helpful even without any tips. Staying at FUFU made our stay in Nara very special.

After all, it's good to be close to JR Nara Station. It's about ３ on foot. The parking lot at the hotel is three-dimensional, so you can rest assured in terms of security. It may feel a little narrow for two people. The semi-double bed is just right hard and comfortable to sleep in. Instead of having no curtains on the windows, it is a shoji door. The room with this atmosphere is also good sometimes. There are coin laundry and vending machines on the 5th and 9th floors (on the 1st floor), microwave ovens on the 1st and 5th floors, and free ice making machines on the 5th floor, so it is convenient for long-term stays. There is a convenience store nearby and there is a shopping street and a restaurant to go to Nara Station, so it is enough to stay without meals. A perfect hotel for traveling with your wallet.

This is a royal guesthouse in Momoyama style, which was built in 1909 by Kingo Tatsuno, the father of Japanese architecture. If you want to find accommodation in Nara, I would strongly recommend considering this hotel. 1) Service: extremely high-quality service, even in Japan, it shows a higher level of standards, giving customers a noble charm, which requires you to experience it in person. 2) Scenic spot: Based on the 115-year history, many places in the hotel are scenic spots, antique, especially the Cherry Blossom Room (guest lobby), many artifacts, including the piano played by Einstein and the photos taken, will surprise you. 3) Food: very delicious breakfast, exquisite, delicious, and full of elegant ritual. In addition, I happened to meet a couple's wedding banquet during my stay, and the picture made me feel like traveling through time and space. I really like this hotel, and I especially hope to stay there for a few nights in the future!

A good choice to stay for one night, right on the subway station, within walking distance to the scenic spots, walking 20,000 steps to feed the deer, the baby was very happy... There is a supermarket downstairs of the hotel, and the sashimi is discounted at night 20% off, you’ll be so happy with your late night snack that you’ll forget all about nuclear radiation, hahahahaha

A hotel that feels like a business ＋ hot spring hotel, just next to JR Nara Station. The room is clean and quite large, ３ F, but the view from the window was completely elevated by the railway, and I was worried about the sound of the train. The bathroom in the room has only a shower, but there is a large communal bath in a natural hot spring, so I was able to relax. There was no problem with the hot springs and breakfast, and it was as expected. Free bottled water 1 book in the refrigerator, WiFi is also free to connect.

The best hotel experience we had in the entire Japan trip. The room is very spacious (about 30-40 square meters by my estimation) and it is spotless clean. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I especially like the Japanese style room design where you take off your shoes at the front door and enter the elevated wooden floored room. The location is unbeatable - only 3 mins walk from the Nara train station, on a small tourist street with tons of small shops and restaurants. The room is very quite even though it is on the tourist street.

Great location, in the contrary it is in a quiet spot. Close to many sightseeing areas. A good experience in all self-assist service. The dinosaur reception is great!

The historical significance of this venue must be highlighted to illustrate its uniqueness in Nara - We signed up for the complimentary tour of the hotel offered to hotel guests on certain mornings of the week and had the pleasure of having Ms. Sato, the director of marketing, introduce the story of Shisui and its past-life as the residence of the governor of Nara between 1922 to 2017, then as Shisui hotel with guest-rooms designed by renown architect Kengo Kuma. The emperor of Japan had stayed on property in post-war to sign the San Francisco treaty. Sato-san's thorough introduction in fluent-english had me realise a stay at this hotel is a unique experience in the way that it is beyond just luxury. The staff had been wonderful and eager to please without pushiness. It was much appreciated, as it gave room for my wife and I to enjoy each other's company at this perfectly peaceful property. The staff had been amazing from the beginning, at check-in, we had Rika-san, a lady with eyes that can smile, to help us check-in while we rest our feet at the lounge with tea, then guide us to our room while briefing us on all its amenities. The rooms were modern with accents of traditional Japanese designs to remind me of the locations' history. Details like the washroom walls that look like zen-gardens and overall wooden decor made my stay at the room one of the most relaxing experiences ever at any hotel. The French-Japanese wine-paired dinner at Suiyou was also our culinary highlight of our two-week vacation in Japan. In summary, after the two night stay, my wife had requested that we should come back to Shisui in the spring, summer and fall to experience all the seasons at this venue.

おしゃれで奈良らしい和を感じさせるデザインでした。個人的に窓際のソファが使いやすく食事をしながらリラックスできました。泊まった部屋は25平米くらいでしたが、洗面台やクローゼットがオープンなので、体感的にはもっと広く感じます。ミラーから大浴場の混雑状況やルームサービスも注文できるので非常に便利 夕朝食ともに一階のポンテ奈良で利用しました。どちらもブッフェです。ディナーはひとつひとつがコースメニューで提供されるようなクオリティで美味しく満足。ピザ窯で調理した出来たてピザが3-4種類あります。パスタも複数種類あり飽きません。またレストラン空間そのものがとてもおしゃれ。様々なタイプの席があり、色々なシーンで利用してみたいです。 8階に宿泊者であればだれでも使えるルーフトップテラスがあります。夜がオススメです。奈良の夜景が一望でき、テーブル上の照明と相まって、とても良い雰囲気です。ロビーからあがってすぐの2階のラウンジは穴場。一人用ブースソファは背もたれが大きいので後ろからの視線が気にならないのでパソコン作業で集中できます。パワーボール（電源）もあります。フォンブース等、他にも仕事で使えそうな席が各所にあり、出張時の宿泊先としてもおすすめです！

The fitness gym was quite comprehensive The regular Room was already very big, comfy bed and clean! No upgrade this time since all rooms are fully booked - service! 100% good! Chef Wang Yu Wen not only delivered a gastronomic experience throughout my teppanyaki lunch course, but he also delivered a very personal one-one dining service experience. His culinary expertise was showcased in every dish despite my dietary restriction, every flavour simply delighted my palate. Kirito did an exceptional service by recommending a great local Nara sake to pair with my lunch course., The second day of Kaiseki was equally delightful and I was extremely surprised to be greeted by the 料理長, Mr Nobukazu Yoshida who honestly provided such an “Omotenashi” experience throughout my time at Azekura. Mr Okubo Ren and Ms Miyamae also delivered great service during my lunch dining on the second day. Overall, the dining experience at Azekura was the highlight of my stay and till now, I couldn’t help but marvel due to the great service that was initiated by Mr Wang Yu Wen. Additionally, I would like to commend the impeccable service I received during the check-in process. I I was impressed at Mr Kim’s patience and service throughout the check-in experience, and I was really glad to get a warm welcoming experience from both Mr Arjun and Ms Pitcha at the lobby. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate specific requests made a significant difference, setting the tone for an enjoyable and happy stay. It is evident that the team takes pride in delivering top-notch service, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Furthermore, the hospitality at the lounge was exemplary. Despite the huge crowd during the festive season, the lounge staff did create a comfortable and enjoyable one. Both Murata and Pabina were some of those whom I felt had delivered great service during the evening cocktail hours. Lastly
