Hotels Near Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf in New Taipei City

I specially brought my children to play, but the game room is very simple and requires a fee. The opening hours of the parent-child fitness center are very short and the space is not big. The hotel hardware is good although it is older, but it is still clean. There are really few service staff. All services are required. It’s really hard to wait and wait for breakfast. Many things are not replenished. The cafe on the first floor is also very hard to eat. It’s hard to believe that the food in this hotel is of this level. I was full of expectations for this hotel. Now I can only say that I probably won’t visit again.

I checked into the Chengyi Tamsui Hotel on Sunday and was upgraded to a room with a bathtub for free at the price of a regular suite. The hotel was very sincere. The suite located in the side room on the tenth floor has two large windows facing the outside. The space is very comfortable and the bathroom in the room is clean. The breakfast part is quite satisfactory. There are many places to eat and drink near the hotel, and there is a supermarket and public bicycles opposite. You can take a walk or ride a bicycle to Fisherman's Wharf, Tamsui Old Street and other attractions in the evening. I particularly recommend the Sharon Night Market next to it. It is only open on Friday and Sunday nights. It has a variety of snacks and is low in repetition. The parking lot is mechanical and inconvenient. You can also choose to park nearby and Chengyi will bear the parking fee. Overall, it is highly recommended to stay here.

We stayed five nights here. The room was awesome - it was a studio apartment really, with considerate touches like a cubby seat where shoes are kept, equipped with a handlebar for those who need support to get up from a seated position. There's a tatami room with a platform floor where there was space and more for our teenaged daughter. You get a choice of normal water or hotspring in the bathtub. I found the hotspring water so healing. I injured my knee some months ago and it still ******d with pain from time to time. The knee was fine after the hotsping soaks. We had dinner at the restaurant on our first night, having just flown in. The food was great! We were the last patrons. The friendly chef even came out to chat with us! Breakfast is sent in stacks of bento boxes to the room. There's a choice of western or oriental. Whichever the choice, there was too much delicious food. We asked them to reduce the selection by one or two items. Staff were helpful and friendly. One of them saw me struggling to communicate in Chinese and quickly came up to tell me that I can speak in English with her. My daughter wanted to buy a box of their cookies on our last night there but the restaurant was just about to close and they didn't have ready stock. Nonetheless, they prepared our cookies and delivered them to our room within half and hour. The cookies were scrumptious! Do try them! They come packed in an elegant wooden box too. Location-wise, the hotel is near the beautiful Tamsui area. It takes longer to get into the Taipei city area - where the shopping and cultural district is - but it is convenient by LRT. A big thank you to all the lovely staff of this wonderful hotel!!

It's a hotel with a high Cp value...because I found it temporarily in the middle of the night...the price is around 1000...the room air-conditioning will make noise...the dehumidifier inside is great, but the refrigerator can't be used...the bed is ok...the quilt and pillows are not bad. . Just a simple hotel... the environment is OK.. the room is too small! ! It's a pity that there is no bathtub... There are 3 snack and drink vending machines in front of the hotel... There is a coffee grinder on the first floor...

Location is great. Just a few steps from Xu Hui mrt station where you can find some restaurants and shopping mall. The hotel is small scaled business. Very Good management. With Good air conditioning and scents at the corridor. Room size is decent. Clean and tidy. Breakfast is delicious but with a few choices in set. Overall impression is great.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! Conveniently located directly above St. Ignatius High School MRT station (just take the lift from level B2 to 6 to reach the hotel lobby). While it’s a bit far from the main attractions, the efficient public transport makes getting around easy and manageable. The rooms were spacious with good amenities, and we loved the complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks available at the cafe from 4PM-10PM. Despite limited English, the reception staff were friendly and helpful, adding to our positive experiences.

I was there for my business trip. I like hotel staff, everyone is so nice to me. Never better. Close by Mitsui Outlet Park Linkou & A9 MRT, easy to shopping and walk around. There're many restaurants around the hotel, and really good taste. I'll come back visit again. Room is clean and comfort. Breakfast is ok. Had a very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend this hotel!

I think we paid too much more than euro 100 per night, my fault I should have made my home work cross checking prices with other website Agoda, Skyscanner, Tripadvisor, Kayak, …Google map  We can fool a few people for a few time , all the o for a few t but not all all the time

Across the street from the Linkou MRT station. Very clean, breakfast included. It was good for an overnight stay as our flight arrived late.

Great stay. Very new. Helpful staff. Free parking. Felt like it was better than Grand Hyatt at a better price point. We ended up liking it so much we stayed there for 2wks! Perfect location too, next to very large mall with lots of food and indoor playground for kid.
