We really enjoyed our stay at Little Manhattan Lodge. We booked the Garden King room (#1A) . We ended up having the whole lower level of the house to ourselves. It was nice because we had our own private entrance from the street.! We were able to go into the main house as well to use the kitchen and to store items in the refrigerator. We were also allowed to use the washer and dryer in the basement, although we didn't. I would give this property five stars but may downgrade to four stars due to the following: 1) The Wi-Fi was not very good on the bottom level... not sure how it was in the main building. 2) The beds were super firm, and the pillows were a little flat but we still slept well( probably due to exhaustion). 3) We really would have liked to have a TV in the room just to have some quiet noise to unwind after our busy day. There are no televisions in the rooms. We ended up streaming a few shows on our tablets (using our own mobile hotspot). Overall, the location was fantastic, and we would definitely book again! Thank you!

It was a great stay, great price for that area, and very kind owner- my room was at the top floor and he was kind enough to help me carry the huge luggage I had upstairs.

This place is conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan, right next to Times Square. My room (Cozy Queen Room 3C) wasn’t large, but you have access to a spacious communal living, dining, and kitchen area—with extra linens, free water, coffee, oatmeal, and a self-service washer/dryer. There’s on-site staff who are always available and keep the shared spaces in good shape. The only minor issues were the thin walls—you can hear normal activity from next door, though everyone respects quiet hours (10 PM to 8 AM)—and the lack of a bathroom mirror (there’s a large one in the bedroom, but it would be perfect to have one in the bathroom, too). Overall, if I return to this neighborhood, I’d definitely choose LML again!

It was our very first time in New York and this was definitely a great base to see the popular tourist attractions in the core.

We stayed at Little Manhattan Lodge and it was the perfect location for a stay in NY! Sam was extremely helpful, available for and at any request, he made us feel very comfortable with our stay. We stayed in the ground floor room which we liked because it was like our own place separated from the rest of the home, the room was very large, we had enough space to move about, an extra bed, the bathroom was very large, water was very hot, water pressure excellent, body wash, shampoo, lotion provided to all guests. We did have to go upstairs to the common area for the kitchen which we didn’t mind at all and we got to interact with some of the other guests. The home is very modern, well equipped and he supplies some useful breakfast items to get started with your stay. The location is very safe, some road noise from the road but it didn’t affect our sleep or stay in any way at all. Our last night we got to stay in 3A room which was up on the 3rd floor but not to bad on the knees, honestly 3A felt like we were staying in a room in Paris, the bed was heaven. We look forward to visiting NY again soon and hope to stay with Sam again at Little Manhattan Lodge.

This is a hidden gem in NYC. Located within walking distance from Times Square and every amenity, but in a quiet street away from the busy-ness of it all. The place has a very large kitchen located on the 2nd floor (with the first floor being the entry-way only), with loads of freebies like toothbrushes and soda. The host is very kind and attentive and stays in Room 2A next to the kitchen. Knock if you need anything. Free luggage storage before check in and after check out is also a bonus!

The place is super clean, has a convenient location, excellent communication with the host, I will go back to this place. Great amenities. We had a great time. The neighborhood was safe to walk at night

Let us check in early for free which was amazing, nice rooms and great location. no elevator though so do keep in mind if you have a lot of luggage

We loved this place. So close to everything. Love the home like feel. The amentities were great. The only con was finding out the futon was a Japanese futon (which is just a futon mat for the floor). The host did provide us with an extra comforter to add cushioning to the futon. I also liked the self check-in set-up. We did enjoy our stay here.

The location is not far away from Times Square (around 10 min walk), with kitchen, hot water (self boiled, which is not often in NYC hotels as they do not often offer kettle). A large refrigerator is offered, the host replies message promptly and all the check-in instructions are clear. The only thing that I think could be better is that I chose to stay at the ground floor, which still left some decoration smell. I think it could be better to choose to stay at the second floor with easy access to the kitchen. Recommended to stay at it at NYC since the price is fair!
