"The free upgrade to a family room was fantastic, and parking right outside the door was very convenient. It's super close to both the train station and bus terminal, and only 300 meters from a popular, Instagrammable spot. Plus, there's an authentic BBQ restaurant right across the street from the hotel."

"The hotel facilities are brand new, and the staff are incredibly nice. Even the cleaning aunties warmly welcome you back next time! The bedding in the room was really comfortable – I hadn't been sleeping well due to an illness, but I slept soundly here. Highly recommend! They even gave me a souvenir when I checked out, and the fridge magnet is so pretty. If I go to Dandong again, this will definitely be my first choice. ❤️"

"This was my first time experiencing a guesthouse like this, and as far as the accommodation itself, 'Chuhe' left very little to complain about. The room was clean, spacious, bright, and featured a modern design.
However, the self-check-in process – with no external signage, no front desk inside, and no staff present – is likely something many people haven't experienced before, or it might not be for everyone.
First, it was difficult to find. Asking locals for directions based on the address and building number was useless; they had no idea where the entrance was! I had to contact them via phone, and they remotely guided me to the location (a process where the owner knew exactly what was going on, but the guest was clueless, making it time-consuming and inefficient). Then, they instructed me on how to operate the elevator, enter the main door, and get into the room. If I had arrived at night, in bad weather, or with a lot of luggage, it would have been even more of a hassle. I wasn't aware of 'Chuhe's' setup when I booked, so I tried to find it the traditional way, to no avail. Luckily, my companion had a similar experience before, so the delay was minimal.
Given that this is a new concept, guests need time to adapt and decide if it's for them. Perhaps it would be helpful to clearly state this on the booking page and provide simple instructions or clarifications. This would allow guests to assess if it's suitable for them and book with a clear understanding.
One warning: the sharp corners of the wooden bed frame under the mattress are quite pointed. I already scraped my shin on it. They should really add corner protectors!"

"This was the most cozy, cleanest, and most comfortable guesthouse I stayed at. The owner was incredibly welcoming and told us where to go and how to do things. The guesthouse also had a wall panel showing the tour routes, and the rooms had smart technology. The blankets were very comfortable, not too thick, but I slept under them very well."

"The room is nice and spacious. Managed to get one with the view. The owner and the staffs there were all very friendly and helpful. The services provided by them were fantastic. It's definitely a good place to stay. Location is great too with the broken bridge nearby and many eateries around."

"Really very good environment, because the new opening is not long, so the facilities are very new. The room has no smell as a whole, and the linen bedding is very clean. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry. If the wet place is used, the shower water flow is large enough. The dry place is equipped with a smart toilet, which is accompanied by plastic roll paper and disposable toilet pads. In addition, shower gel and shampoo are also individually packaged in small cans, and other disposable items are also very complete. In addition, the mirror at the sink has its own supplement light, and I think the needs of male and female passengers are fully taken into account in the overall service.
The room was really bright, and the window was basically unobstructed and very bright. The location is very good, very close to the Yalu River, you can walk directly.
If I am picky about the hotel accommodation environment, I highly recommend staying in this house. I wanted to continue my stay, but because the itinerary conflicted, I gave up.
ps: The mineral water in the room is actually Runtian, it is really kind to see:-)"

"Next to the Zhonglian Hotel, the 21st floor has a high-altitude river view. You can clearly see the China-North Korea Friendship Bridge and the Yalu River Broken Bridge. There are two 2-meter beds. Three girls are more than enough to stay. The landlord is very caring and has been providing services and consultation online. By the way, remember to turn on the water heater for a while before taking a bath, and the water temperature quickly reached nearly 50 degrees."

"The geographical position is superior, the river view is all-round, there is a telescope on the balcony, you can clearly see the North Korean Xinyizhou. The sanitary conditions are very good, all kinds of facilities are complete, no smell. The service attitude is very good and the response is timely. I took my mother to live for eight consecutive days and the elderly were very satisfied."
