2-Star Hotels in Dandong

We booked two rooms: a double bed and a single bed. The soundproofing was so-so; there's a scrap metal yard downstairs. We kept the windows closed the entire time. The location is great, very close to Phoenix Mountain, a 5-minute taxi ride. It's a newly opened hotel; the facilities are decent, great value for money, not dirty, quite clean. There's a laundry room with a dryer, but only one machine. On the day of check-in, it was raining heavily. We took a taxi with elderly people and children, carrying luggage and holding umbrellas. A hotel staff member, wearing a black suit, stood at the entrance, just staring at us the whole time. I was speechless. He just stared. He didn't say a word, didn't offer a helping hand. I asked him, ”Why don't you just stop looking and walk away?” He watched us, soaking wet, with our luggage and elderly children, struggling to get out of the taxi and into the hotel. He just leaned against the entrance door, watching us without saying a word. I was truly speechless. It was the first time I'd encountered such a staff member. Extremely low emotional intelligence, very uncomfortable. I will absolutely not recommend it, and I will never come back. When we go out and take a taxi, even a regular taxi, in this heavy rain, with so much luggage, and especially with elderly people and children, the driver will always lend a hand or at least ask if we need help. This is truly the first time I've encountered such staff at a hotel. Playing dumb.

I've been here twice already and have been very satisfied both times. The rooms are quite clean, the courtyard is beautiful, and the scenery is stunning – truly a picturesque landscape of green mountains and clear waters. Staying in the farmhouse makes me feel great. The food is delicious, and the owner is very kind. I'll definitely go again.

This hotel near Dandong Guomen is a hidden gem! The room was spotless and new, the bedding was comfy, and the bathroom with separate wet and dry areas was super clean. All the amenities you need are right there. Step out and turn right, and you're at Broken Bridge – the location is absolutely fantastic for visiting the bridge and seeing the Yalu River up close. The environment is quiet and pleasant, the hygiene details are spot on, and the service is attentive. It's my top choice for accommodation when traveling. Highly recommended!

This was the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during my summer vacation. The service was great, and it was very clean! I highly recommend it!

The room is clean and comfortable, the service is friendly, and the biggest advantage is that it is next to the Broken Bridge of the Yalu River, which is very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun.

Good views of the river with a decent breakfast layout. There aren’t many food options in walking distance, however. The windows are single-pane which means the cold air blows into the room, which is especially an issue during the winter due to the proximity to the river. There is no conditioner in the shower stalls. Otherwise the rooms may be a bit small but otherwise a great value for the price.

This B&B left an excellent impression on me. First of all, the B&B environment is very elegant. The entire B&B is surrounded by green trees and flowers, creating a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. Whether it is the leisure area or the decoration in the room, it is very elegant. It is full of natural and harmonious atmosphere, making people feel like they are in a paradise far away from the hustle and bustle. Secondly, the room is clean, tidy and spacious, and it also has an outdoor balcony with outdoor tables and chairs. The room also provides hand-brewed coffee equipment. It was so relaxing to grind a cup of coffee on the terrace in the afternoon. The boss was very nice and gave us welcome fruits and snacks. I will come here again when the maple leaves are in season in September.

The room exceeded expectations! European-style decoration is exquisite and atmospheric, crystal chandeliers and carved furniture are very textured, and the photos are beyond the film. The mattress is moderately soft and hard, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and I sleep very soundly all night. Health is done in place, the details are not found in the dust, drinking a cup of tea at night is very pleasant, the overall experience is full, next time I come to choose this one.

I booked 2 rooms, both were good. One had a large window but a small room, while the other had a small window but a large room with good facilities. Overall, it was good. It's a 6-minute walk from the Yalu River and an 8-minute walk from Dandong Station. It's very close, and there's parking at the door. It was a great experience.
