"A new hidden gem in Medan... Elais by Artotel. A brand new hotel less than a month old as of review time. Renovations are still at work.. but they make sure everything is top notch during your stay... From the front desk , the F&B staff, housekeeping and security... All is good... For F&B.. the Soto Medan for breakfast is to die for.. nice... If you are a light sleeper.. do ask for room beyond the X07 or further from the lift... As probably over the weekend .. the cafe across the road has love music that might be loud for u.. Other than that.. it's all good.. the better ARToTEL in Medan"

"Great value for money stay in Medan! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, especially considering the affordable price. One of the highlights is that breakfast is included, which makes the stay even more worthwhile. However, there are a couple of downsides. The soundproofing isn’t very good, as the hotel is located near the main street. I could hear motorcycles passing by quite clearly, even late at night, which might be an issue for light sleepers. Also, the hairdryer provided is quite weak and takes a long time to dry hair."
