Batam View Beach Resort Reviews

One of the worst experiences I have ever had staying in a hotel, I wouldn’t even expect such things from 3 stars hotel. Firstly, bed was infested with bed bugs. The staff asked me if it is ok to clean my bed in the middle of the night but people who know bed bugs know you need the soak the whole mattress under the sun. So…. (Refer to attached photos) Secondly, the replacement room given to us had an aircon that does not work. So we have to wait for it to get it fixed. (Refer to attached photos) Thirdly, when we thought the room is good to go, we saw dirty stains on the bed. The kind of stains when people jump on the bed with shoes on. (Refer to attached photos) Fourthly , the hotel has an open concept bar and they allowed people to blast music until 3am. The building is old and there is literally 0 noise proofing. I stayed on one the highest levels and I can hear the bass, the music and the screaming loud and clear. I called at 12am and they told me it’s their last song but guess what? The music goes on till 3am when I literally have to go down to tell them that me and my family couldn’t sleep at all thanks to the hotel management allowing nonsense like this to happen. Lastly, the morning breakfast spread isn’t great but it’s ok I am not complaining but the food runs out completely at the same time and the staff were just standing around. So at the end, we either don’t eat anything or we have to let the staff know and wait till they are done. (Refer to attached photos) It’s really a nightmare staying here. If you want to have a good time and want to rest peacefully at night, please do not choose this place.

Loved our stay here! Such a beautiful resort and beach front. The location is good for a clear beach and ocean view, no ships/ferries nearby. The pools were great too. The rooms were spacious and clean. Only the ventilation was not working in the toilet so everything remained rather wet for longer. Breakfast spread was good, Indonesian and western. They have a restaurant open there for lunch and dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the door men and buggy and shuttle drivers. We wanted to try a restaurant at Montigo and they kindly buggy-ed us to outside the property. Location is only 30 - 40 min from Nagoya city.

Third time to visit and I love this place. Great for families with toddlers. Staffs are very nice and accomodating, from receptionist to food servers to housekeeping. Great people.

The room was impeccably clean and boasted stunning dual-aspect sea views. Enjoying the breeze on the balcony was incredibly relaxing. The surrounding amenities were excellent; there were plenty of dining options right downstairs, and the local cuisine was particularly delicious. The service was exceptional, with any issues usually resolved promptly.

We had a very nice stay in Batam Beach View Resort. Everyone from the Entrance to the Room service personnel were smiling and happily greeted us all the time!

Decent resort with amenities and all, for a quick getaway this resort works just fine. You can grab in food if room service options dont fancy you. Only downside is it's about 50 mins by car from batam centre ferry terminal and city centre shopping area. Breakfast was quite disappointing because this is smth many look forward to in a getaway. Options were little. Service and hospitality was amazing ✌🏽

Service is good. Swimming pool is good. Location js about 30min from batam centre ferry terminal, if traffic is good. Seaview is fair. However, cleanness needs to be improved. The bed sheet has stains. Breakfast is mostly local style and a bit of western style. Overall a bit limited in breakfast options.

The hotel everything is chargeable even asking to decorate the room

Our 2nd time patronising this resort and it feels nostalgic coming back after Covid. Staffs were friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Many amenities and great place to stay with families with small children. Location wise is far from town so this is definitely a place to stay if you do not have plans to shop.

We went on a Saturday and it was fully booked. We didn’t get a King size bed that we reserved. Breakfast the next day was also a bit chaotic, as the hotel struggled to seat guests at the same time. We had to wait outside for a while before we got a table. The staff were friendly and helpful. The amenities were standard. Rooms were clean and nice. The construction work in front of the hotel somewhat obstructed our view of the sea, which was 10 minutes away from the hotel. We could see the sea from our sea view room, but the view wasn’t that nice. Sidenote: Did not enjoy the Kelong seafood restaurant. The food was terrible.

Clean and spacious room. Requested for queen bed but was given twin instead. However, staff joined the beds for us real fast. So service good. A distance away from town. No complimentary shuttle to malls. Lounge has live music and magic show after 8pm. Great for those who just wana stay by the beach.

Overall is good. Only 1 thing let me feel unhappy during check in. Room cleaning acceptable, only the bathtub very dirty not clean properly. The shower area not comfortable for tall people. Hot water very hot👍🏻 The floor is time to fix can see it come out (near balcony area) a bit dangerous if did not wear slipper. Aircon not enough cold. Seaview very nice from my room 545. Can see Singapore MBS 😃 totally no blocking.

It was a nice short getaway away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.
