InterContinental Koh Samui Resort, an IHG Hotel Reviews

Hi, I could not able to said all what was I got from here. It's easy to explain for what they have and actually all the facilities are visible from their photos. Then I would like to suggested this resort to who are looking for what I got from here and the answer is --the peacefully-- Everything about my stay here exceeded my expectations. The impression of the location, the size of the area, the vastness of the resort must be described as grand. Makes feel like I have entered another world surrounded by mountains, large trees, and a beach with a wide ocean view. Big and small islands lined up in front of the rooms viewing. Everything makes you forget the chaos of everyday life. Peace of soul and true sense of nature. This is a place that everyone should come to and leave the chaos for few days.

We came here for honeymoon and had so much fun. Great hospitality and experience, which makes us want to come visit here again. Only bad thing is the location. This place is so far from the airport and nearest town is still far.

We stayed in Intercontinental for 2 nights and chosen the Club room with afternoon tea and sunset package benefit. The breakfast & afternoon tea is nice which you can order any drinks you like for the whole day. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is free scheduled shuttle service to Tesco and Central Mall which is good as the hotel is far from anywhere especially if you don’t have a car, it’s quite troublesome to go out. For dinner we ate at the nearby Island View Restaurant which provided free transport to the hotel. We requested for a room with lesser steps/staircases distance as my elderly parents were travelling with us and they cannot walk to many steps, which they provided the nearest room from lobby. Room #105 & 106 😉

Decent hotel but nothing special. Room OK but not amazing view with a building in front for the current price considering covid. Service average for the price. (Eg as soon as arrived asking for credit card immediately) No proper executive lounge Nice view from the front desk/ restaurant Next time will go in another 5 stars

The environment is good, but it's too remote! The car fare starts at 1,000 baht to go anywhere! Snorkeling and sea fishing are much more expensive if booked in hotels, but the quality is good! It's too far to book outside!

The hotel has a full holiday feel and the service is also very good, but the location of the hotel is a bit remote, and three meals a day can basically only be solved in the hotel. However, the price of the hotel restaurant is not too expensive.

The location of InterContinental is quite remote, there is not much food around, and the nearest 7-11 is 2.4 kilometers away, which is isolated from the world. There are many reefs on the beach, which is not suitable for swimming. But there are many activities in the hotel, so it is not boring to stay there. I participated in the stretching class, which is free and has a different schedule every day, suitable for sports enthusiasts. There are also kayaking, snorkeling (there are too many reefs, so snorkeling must be extra careful and not suitable), mountain biking and other projects. You can play each project for free for one hour every day, which is very good! Let's talk about the room. This time I stayed in a two-bedroom villa. The 200-square-meter room is super large. The view is also good. Let's talk about breakfast. You can order a lot of drinks. I like cold brew, which is not sour. There are also various egg methods that can be requested. Scrambled eggs and Benedict are my favorites. Super good!

The hotel is very good except for the location. The service attitude is very good, the scenery is beautiful, everything is perfect. I stayed for two nights and still felt unsatisfied when I left. In short, it is highly recommended. Facilities: Although it is a bit old, it is clean and the service is very good. Environment: The scenery in the lobby is really amazing, and it is very suitable for watching the sunset. Service: The breakfast is OK. I don’t have high requirements for food. It’s OK for me. I only ate flame in the two restaurants. It cost more than 700 for two people. The taste is better than expected. The resident singer sang very well that night, and he could debut on the spot hahahaha. There are few people in the whole resort, very quiet, I like it very much.

The overall experience was great. Except for being a little far from the airport, everything else, including the scenery, service and food, was great! Recommended, I will come again if I have the chance.

The scenery of the hotel is simply amazing. The villa I booked is right in front of the beach. There are many movies in the hotel. The staff is attentive and considerate. The butler-style service experience is great. Breakfast can be delivered to the room with a pool basket. The only drawback is that the hotel is far away and there is no business nearby. It is suitable for guests who just want to play in the hotel.
