Absolutely recommended. We stayed for 3 nights. Room and amenities good. But the best thing was the staff who were friendly and helpful. And the food for breakfast and dinner was superb. Beautiful views from the upstairs restaurant to the tea plantations. The only negative thing is that it is not within walking distance of town. But they arranged good transport for us and tours of the surrounding area. Tours were very good and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again

I checked in with my Wife for a sightseeing vacation to this lovely place we loved the welcome from the staffs who i would like to call good friends Karan and Ranjith and others too they took care of us real good. You would rarely come across people to vibe with and have a good time. If you are looking for a place to have some quality time with your loved ones this is the place i highly recommend it. The rooms are neat and tidy and spacious and the stay is near all the major attractions it’s easily commutable. Really looking forward to my next visit.

They don’t deserve a mere 5 stars/10 and it pained us to leave. Hands down the loveliest stay we had in India over the past 5 weeks. The property treats you with multiple amazing views and offers a peaceful setting which makes you feel nested in among the hills and tea plantations. And if the views, comfortable beds and warm showers are not enough, they have a fantastic team which attends to your every need. Whether you need a home-cooked meal, sightseeing tour, taxis, to recharge your Indian SIM or a surprise birthday party, they have got you covered. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone to spend a couple of days here and unwind. The investment will be well worth it!

I stayed here in June 2025 with my family, including two small kids. First, I want to highlight that it is a Homestay situated on a hill around 3 km from the main market area, so once you check in, you can not go to the market area without a taxi (the Hotel owner provides you with a taxi). They have only four rooms in the property with limited food options, although the food was tasty. We stayed in a deluxe room with a balcony having a stunning view of the hill covered by a tea garden. Pros- good view, staff cooperative, owner helpful. Cons: away from main market area, limited food options ( specially for kid), four five Pet cats roaming around kitchen can cause many disease spread by cats.

Our stay at Tamarillo was truly delightful. The view from the property was breathtaking, and the staff were extremely warm, friendly, and attentive. The ambience throughout was peaceful and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway amidst beautiful surroundings.

It is a really beautiful place placed among the tea farms and quite close to the city market. The owner of the place is very friendly and the staff is very prompt. They also have bonfires at night where the people gather and endless talks go on till late at night. The scenery is unparalleled. Definitely worth the money

We had the best of experience here solely because of the well mannered and proactive staff. One should definitely come here to experience the scenic beauty from the hotel and dining area. The staff is very proactive and i can grantee you that all your needs will be taken care of. The staff and the owner (Vicky) went out of their way to save us from an unscrupulous that had been harassing us, the hotel staff ensured our safety and made sure he left the compound. Few USPs of the management here 1. Staff is highly proficient and skilled (cook, housekeeping and driver) 2. Freshly cooked meals (Mr. Moses is an amazing cook) 3. The OWNER (VICKY), all things kept aside, he's just an an amazing person to chat with. 4. Needless to sat the VIEW AND THE LOCATION Thank you for making our honeymoon such an amazing experience
