Even with all COVID restrictions, we had a great stay ! First of all located in the Forrest, with excellent walking and cycling options . The staff was absolutely fantastic, always willing to help and making sure that everything is organised perfectly. As much as possible all guests where using one way walking and social 1,5 meter distancing! Both restaurants where fabulous, great food , I would recommend the 10 course small dishes! Great stay !

Hotel looks really nice from the outside, surrounding grounds a nice and green. Hotel is located right next to Thialf Stadium so excellent location if you have to be there or if you want to enjoy the country side. Hotel is not near town centre, you would need to drive or cycle there. Hotel could do with some refurbishment, bathroom is old and it shows its age. Carpet and wall papers need replacing. We had both dinner and breakfast, of which the first one was ok and breakfast was good, plenty of choice for all. Hotel has free parking and electric charging stations for cars.

We booked the room with dinner, breakfast, and bike rental the next day. The staff are very nice. The food was wonderful, and the biking was the best of all. We rode into the town and then through the cow pasture behind the hotel. Beautiful town and beautiful woods. The room was very clean. The bathroom has a comfortable tub and a nice shower. My only suggestion is to use your google translate on the menus if you speak English. The waitress who translated did a good job, but when I read the menu later, I realized I had missed options that I would have definitely ordered if I knew what they were. I ended up wasting an appetizer because I didn't understand what I was ordering, but the rest of the meal was lovely. My steak was an excellent cut of meat. I loved the town of Sneek and want to go back (hotel included).

We had a fantastic dinner in the hotel, which was only out done by the exceptional service we received. I wamted to call out Abner who served our table and was quite exceptional. Wonderful hotel! Perfect location across from train station, and short walk into town. Very large, comfortable room with a little balcony and sitting area. The room had all amenities including a hair dryer and coffee/tea. Highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.
