Located in front of the Gare du Nord station, the Hotel Flanelles is an address for travelers. Right in the heart of Paris, in a beautiful 1900 building, Flanelles is not just a good address.
It's a state of mind: an invitation to take your time. To come, to go, to stroll, to travel. "Lose yourself as you stroll, and you'll find yourself again"...
Le Flanelles, opposite the Gare du Nord station, is like a parenthesis in the heart of the city.
After exploring the streets of Paris, all you want to do is sit back and relax. That's what the rooms are for. Comfortable and elegant, they welcome you with arms wide openThe warmth of the parquet flooring, the softness of the sheets, the wood of the furniture... everything is designed to make you feel at home.
The bathroom, with its bottle-green tiles and elegant stained-glass window, is an invitation to relax. And of course, the cozy beds are so comfortable that you'll never want to get out.

The hotel is relatively new, the bed is very soft, it is directly opposite the North Station, and it is convenient to get around. The bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas. The only inconvenient thing is that the shower room is open with transparent glass, but everything else is fine.

The location is unbeatable! It’s a 3 min walk to Gare de L’est metro station and 10 minutes to Gare du Nord if you use Eurostar!
It’s perfect for a short stay. The rooms are clean and staff are friendly and attentive! The single room is small as expected. However, the bathroom doesn’t have any ventilation. You do have a very typical Parisian style window/balcony. So I open the window whenever I use the bathroom. I enjoyed my stay of 3 nights!

Pros: The hotel has a charming atmosphere, and I had a pleasant stay. I stayed in room 304, which offered a lovely street view, though the room itself was a bit on the smaller side. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Some of the room’s amenities felt outdated and could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Additionally, there were several steps between the elevator and the ground floor, and the elevator itself was quite small, making it a bit inconvenient for travelers with large luggage. Lastly, a cleaner attempted to enter the room in the morning while I was still inside, which was a bit unsettling.

Room has coffee machine and coffee for free. Location is on the same block as a metro station, which is a few stops away from the train station. The street was not very clean.

As a nearly 70 years old traveler, in my first booking 26-27 Dec 2024 I was given a upper bunk bed posing many difficulties for me in climbing up and decending down.
In the second booking 27 Dec 2024 - 9 Jan 2025, I was given a lower bunk bed.
Last but not least, I am pleased to thank particularly the hostel manager Thomas and his colleague Vincy for their kind assitance and friendly chat.
In summary, I give a thumb up for staying The People Belleville.

clean, cosy, quiet except the musical festival, convenient to any places.
Only complain is the first day when checked in, they didn't register my breakfast, and the young guy double checked with the manager, and confirmed my room fare iregister the breakfast.
the First day, staff in the restaurant checked with me for a while, then let me in. The last day,
they still checked me and let me stay there to wait the confirmation, that was the 4th day I stayed there! Unbelievable, no any coordination between the team!

The room is small but exquisite. Except for being small, there is nothing wrong with it.
The toiletries are all from the French brand deputy. The slippers given are of good quality, and the eco-friendly bags given are very big!
There is a Japanese breakfast shop on one side downstairs, and a bar on the other side. It looks good, but I didn't eat there.
Although the balcony is small, it is recommended to have a cup of coffee here and feel the sunshine in the French morning.
For the interior of the room, please refer to the pictures of the hotel. I didn't have time to take pictures, so I couldn't take pictures, and the space is small, so it's not easy to play.

I stayed at this hotel in early February. It was a very comfortable hotel! The size of the room was enough that I couldn't complain, and the bathroom and toilet were separate! The bathroom had a bathtub and shower space, and there were plenty of amenities, but there were no toothbrushes. There were bathrobes and slippers! There was also a wide range of services such as a Nespresso machine and tea. The breakfast buffet was open quite early, and it seemed relatively uncrowded at any time of the day. There was quite a lot of food, and everything was really delicious! The staff were very kind, and it was a comfortable hotel! It was also very easy to access other spots, and you could walk to the Louvre Museum and Opera Garnier! I would like to stay here again the next time I come to Paris!

Outstanding
GGuest UserGreat location , behind the Champs Elysees.and the metro is very close by which allows you to travel easily around Paris.
Room was clean and in full working order .
Breakfast buffet is a treat . All items are of very high quality and if anything we ate too much ….
There is a small shop in Lobby to buys pastries , coffee and salads. No need to go out: very convenient.
Hotel is very busy with over 1000 rooms. Sometimes can be difficult to get your room cleaned . We had to call 3 times, before a room attendant showed up .
Have tea and coffee making facilities, yet our tea did not get replenished for 3 days .
Overall satisfied and would recommend
GGuest UserDecent hotel in a good location. Big rooms for Europe, bathroom a bit on the smaller side. However we had a few issues:
1) we organised a romantic bday surprise at 60€, and during check in, the receptionist asked “when would you like the surprise champagne” in front of the person whose bday it was, ruining the surprise. Also of note, many other hotels of this level provide something complimentary. 60€ is very steep.
2) emailed in advance for an early check in, and the hotel attendant said no upon arrival without even checking.
3) they had turned off the air conditioning and the room was boiling hot. The only option was to open the window and be eaten alive by mosquitos. Terrible.
GGuest UserLocation is actually a bit far from the city center and the nearest metro is line 14 which closes at around 10pm due to the renovation so plan your trip carefully or else you'd have to find a bus to drop you off near the hotel. The hotel is around a 2-3 mins walk to Bercy Village.
Quite clean and spacious for a room in Paris. I would recommend this hotel. Oh and by the way, some of a amenities are not provided in the room but if you ask the front desk staff, they would give it.
Just a little mishap with the front desk staff during our stay, we didn't have the daily 2 bottles of water after checking in and when we called down to the front desk, they were ”sure” that they put them in but there was nothing. :/ The photo of the fridge was the two drinks that we bought over from a Carrefour nearby.
They said they would come up to check and never did... But I had some other amenities to get from them so eventually they came up and checked the fridge. No apologies from the staff for the misunderstanding and he just went out of the room to get two bottles of water for us. Quite a strange service attitude from them.
GGuest UserA Stunning Aesthetic Marred by Disappointing Service
My recent stay at Hôtel Dame des Arts allowed me to immerse myself in the splendor of the awe-inspiring interior design crafted by Raphel Navot and indulge in the allure of the popular rooftop bar, which undoubtedly left a positive and lasting impression.
The interior design of the hotel was a masterpiece in itself, with Raphel Navot's talent evident in every detail. The ambiance exuded elegance and sophistication, creating an atmosphere that truly enhanced the overall guest experience. Additionally, the rooftop bar provided breathtaking views of Paris, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoyment.
Regrettably, the overall experience was overshadowed by a combination of disappointments, notably the service at the ground floor cafe. The male employee with a beard exhibited a dismissive and inattentive demeanor during my interactions with him. His lack of attentiveness made me feel overlooked, leaving me hesitant to further explore the cafe's offerings. While I typically do not demand exceptional service, this level of inattentiveness fell short even of my usual expectations.
This attitude displayed by this specific employee overshadowed the positive hospitality offered by all other employees at the hotel, leaving a bittersweet impression of the overall service.
Furthermore, my stay was marred by a billing issue, resulting in double charging for my fully prepaid reservation. Such an oversight was embarrassing.
On a positive note, I must commend the other hotel staff, particularly those at the reception and rooftop bar areas, for their accommodating nature, contributing to a more pleasant overall experience.
In conclusion, Hôtel Dame des Arts undoubtedly showcased a dedication to exceptional design and ambiance. However, the combination of one inattentive employee and the billing concerns left me with a mixed impression. I firmly believe that fostering a culture of attentive and respectful service, along with diligent billing practices, is essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience. By addressing these issues, Hôtel Dame des Arts can elevate its reputation and ensure that every guest is treated with the care and professionalism they rightfully deserve. A seamless harmony of remarkable aesthetics and attentive service will undoubtedly make for an even more remarkable stay at this captivating hotel.
AAvelineI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Artus Hotel and I was lucky to chance upon this hotel during my search. There are so many options and recommendations out there. I'm glad I chose this hotel for my maiden trip to Paris.
First, the location. I can walk to the major landmarks like River Seine, Louvre, 'Dorsay museum, Notre Dame, etc. It is located close to St Germaine, so there are many charming streets to roam about and many options for food and supplies. I feel safe wandering around on my own as a solo female traveller.
Second, the place is tastefully decorated. I like my room which has windows that overlook the streets as well as the decor. The bed is so comfortable that I slept very well during the three nights I was there. The housekeeping staff also kept the room clean and I like that the hotel embraces environmental practices. The only thing is that the yellow lights in the room can be a bit dim, but the white light used in the bathroom is bright.
Third, the staff. I was greeted by a lady when I checked in and she is so understanding, patient and nice with me. I would like to commend her for her great personality and attitude, but I missed getting her name. The other staff I met are equally friendly and nice (two young ladies, one named Li/Yang; and another gentleman). Even if they don't know something, they will look up the information for me. They will also provide me with recommendations. I also must compliment the driver who picked me up from the airport and drove me to the airport (hotel transfers). He is very polite and considerate and he makes me feel at ease when i was travelling in his car. Even the gentleman who helped me with my luggage wore a big smile on his face. Thank you to everyone I've met during my stay and which made my experience a pleasant one.
I learned only on my last day that they have another sister hotel a few steps away. One of the staff recognized me and invited me to take a look inside. Again, the place is tastefully done. If I have a chance to be back in Paris, I will check out both Artus Hotel as well as this hotel. I would also like to take this opportunity to make a request to the guests who are going to stay in the hotel - let's make an effort to treat the room as if it is our own. That way, the hotel will stay in a good condition for a longer time and future guests will get to enjoy the stay as much as I did. Thank you :)
AAnonymous UserAccessibility and Location: We were mindful that Montmarte is a hilly, cobbled location; therefore, on arrival and departure taxi or Uber would be the most convenient way with large luggages.
It's brilliantly located within walking distances of fabulous bars, restaurants, and main sights of Montmarte.
About 450-550 meters within Metro stops of Lamarck and Chateau Rouge.
Cleanliness: The room we were in had a bit of a body odour smell on arrival, which was disappointing. Thankfully the windows can be opened so that solved the issue.
Comfort: Beds and pillows were comfortable.
Service: Good breakfast service. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Good coin laundry service.
AAl AminI had a great stay at Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel. The location is perfect, just steps from the Eiffel Tower and close to the Metro. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. Friendly staff, a delicious breakfast with a view, and excellent service made it a memorable experience. Highly recommend!
MMargaritaThe Hotel is positioning as a 4 Star hotel. Unfortunately it needs a lot of renovation inside. As you can see at the pictures there is necessary to renovate the room doors and paint it again.
Upon arriving at evening 20.10.24 I was told the hotel doesn’t see my reservation at all and they have no booked room for me. After 30 minutes negotiations, check the data, connection to provider I obtained the room only. As the receptionist told me there was a crackdown of the hotel booking system recently.
Thank you for the reception officer to provide me 2 rooms apartment for the first night.
The breakfasts were tasty with a good varieties of fresh fruits, quarks and good coffee.
Location is perfect for the shoppers absolutely and it is not far away from the Metro stations.
GGuest UserThe hotel had poor standard, the decor was worn and old, but nice price and clean. It was closed to subway, and not to far for walking to attraktions. Some of the staff spoke French rather than English, so communication was difficult. Ordered continental breakfast when booking the hotel, but wanted gluten-free. Tried to get in contact with the hotel several times via email and explain, but they newer answered. When we arrived they couldn’t help us, so had to go to the grocery store and buy my own breakfast, without compensation.
GGuest UserThe location of the room is really good. It's close to two subway stations and three Chinese restaurants. It's really good. The guy at the front desk was handsome and friendly. The main problem is the size of the bathroom... it is too small. I am 1.8 meters tall and it is difficult to turn around in the bathroom. If you move even slightly, you will hit the glass.
