Like most budget hotels in Paris, the Montsouris Hotel is not new. It is an old building, and the elevator is narrow and small, making it difficult for more than two people to fit in. However, there are advantages that compensate for these disadvantages. First of all, there are two subway lines and two bus terminals, making transportation very convenient for those who are sightseeing in the city. Also, it is located in a residential area, so it is not noisy and does not disturb faces. Most of the staff are very friendly to guests. The only drawback is that the breakfast menu in the restaurant is simple and does not change every day.

If the hygiene requirements are not very high, this hotel is relatively good. The location is very convenient for traveling and traveling by car, but Sister Xiaohei does not have high standards for cleaning, and the toilet paper is only given after asking for it. There is also a piece of men's underwear on the upper level of the closet that I don't know from the previous resident. After cleaning, the black sister left the mask in my room!
We occupied two rooms and both rooms were excellent.
Cleanliness, comfort, bed - everything is super.
Nice area! Quiet.
The price / quality ratio is the best for Paris.
Nearby there are 2 excellent bakeries where you can grab a coffee and pastries / desserts early in the morning.
Near the metro on the turquoise line there is an inexpensive and delicious cafe. Really delicious!
The staff at the hotel is polite, tried to help us. Delicious candies at the reception.
The hotel is 9 minutes away from Line 4 and 5 minutes away from T2a light rail. It is convenient for travel and quiet in a busy city. It is just a little far from commercial facilities, about 5 minutes. The hotel services, facilities and prices are consistent. Good value for money!
I wanted a hotel close to where my brother and his wife was staying. Apparently this hotel is only 3 star, but I can honestly say the bed was really comfortable, and the pillows are some of the best I’ve ever slept on. Breakfast is very simple but more than ample, with great coffee, and the staff were all absolutely lovely
The location was great for anywhere, and although the hotel was compact, the delicious breakfast (freshly baked croissants, salami ham, various cheeses, fruit, yogurt) was the best thing!
And best of all, the hotel staff were all so kind and wonderful!
I would like to stay at this hotel again next time.

The main thing is that the location is excellent, just opposite the Montparnasse train station, which is suitable for those who need to catch a train early the next morning.
The facilities are relatively simple, and you need to bring your own slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste. The elevator is very small, and the room is not very soundproof, and you can hear the conversation of the guests next door. The staff's attitude is not bad. In general, it is suitable for sleeping one night before taking an early train.
During the months leading up to my stay during the Olympic Games, I encountered some difficulties with the hotel regarding payment. The room rate was unreasonably high. Fortunately, I was able to utilize Trip.com's price match guarantee, which resulted in a reduction in the overall cost of my stay.
Furthermore, I was provided with an upgrade to a comfort room for one of my reservations, ensuring that my children had spacious accommodation. Overall, the stay was satisfactory and enjoyable.
Although breakfast was included in my reservation, the options were rather limited and unappetizing. Additionally, the hotel's sole dining option, the cafe, ceased operations after 10:30 AM.
Moreover, the hotel lacked an elevator from the lobby to the lift floor, which presented a challenge when navigating the stairs with heavy luggage. The sole elevator had a limited capacity of two individuals, necessitating frequent separate trips upstairs.
In general, the stay was satisfactory.

GGuest UserSmall shop, like joining. Staff service is very good.
I need to live in Montparnasse for work reasons. In Paris, this is a good choice. No matter how picky, it is not understandable.

GGuest UserI cannot compliment this 3-star hotel enough! I stayed with my daughter from 21/08 - 25/08 to see Billie Eilish at the Rock en Seine festival.
It’s location, whilst not in the centre of Paris, is just a short Metro ride from the centre (the metro is around the corner) and a very simple train journey (and short 5-minute walk) on the RER from CDG/Orly airports (see picture).
The hotel is clean, modern and exceptional value for money. We stayed in a small room, but it was perfect for our needs.
Breakfast is, as anticipated, a continental breakfast, but there was plenty of choice and the food was fresh - the omelettes were cooked to perfection!
Finally, the staff were very friendly and spoke English … which was good, because my French is almost nonexistent 😃
In summary, assuming availability, I will look to return to this hotel before booking any other hotel in Paris!

YyoosaiI arrived at Montparnasse station by train from Brittany, and there was a Monoprix on the way, so this hotel is convenient and easy to access. It is near the national railway station, but the area around the hotel is safe, there are two other metro stations, and it is easy to change to the B line to Charles de Gaulle after just two stops, so I recommend the location. The hotel has an escalator from the second floor of the reception, but you need to carry your luggage up to the second floor. There are rooms on the park side and the other side, so I think the view is better on the park side, but I was on the other side. I don't know if I could specify it when booking. There was a washbasin shower room, a hair dryer, and plenty of storage space, which was nice. The bedroom also had a desk space like a Japanese business hotel. There was a separate shelf for hanging clothes and a clothes rack. There was no suitcase rack, pot, or refrigerator. I ordered breakfast once locally. It was small, but it was a nice space and it was delicious. 16 euros seems expensive in yen, but it would cost about the same if you bought something good at a supermarket or a station kiosk, so I recommend choosing according to your plans.

SSONGThe interior of the hotel is really clean and has most of the things you need than you can see from the exterior. However, it is written that the interior of the hotel room is impossible to eat. I don't know if it's because of the security, but every time you enter the building, you can press the bell and open it to the receptionist! It was uncomfortable to go back and forth the building during the day, but it was nice to feel safe at night.

AAppleKWe had a wonderful experience staying in Hotel Virgina. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. We were able to check-in early and left the luggage (locked safely) after we checked out so that we could visit Paris before our night Eurostar. Great location not far from the metro station, next to a supermarket, bakery, same metro line as Eurostar no change needed very convenient.

CChrystal LiRelatively safe district to stay in Paris. There are convenience stores near by, but a bit far from main attraction points - 20 mins of Uber ride. Good service, we checked in relatively late but there were still friendly staff to help. Poor cleanliness however, they have not cleaned the dirt on the floor.
