Linz Hotels with Parking

Good: The location is excellent, right in front of the main square. Bus lines 1, 2, 3, and 4 are all within 100 meters, making it very convenient for getting around. There are many dining options downstairs, including a Sichuan restaurant across the alley which was decent but the portions were small. Okay: This is a hotel in an old European-style building. There's no air conditioning, so it can get quite hot and stuffy with the windows closed. It probably depends on the weather; we didn't really need AC during our stay. We only received one bottle of water on check-in for a three-day stay, and it wasn't replenished afterward (though free water was available in the lobby). Breakfast was very basic, with no hot dishes except for a boiled egg. Just a side note, the European economy might be struggling. When paying the city tax at the end, they even asked for a tip, which I found a bit off-putting, so I didn't give one. It probably meets a 3-star standard.

Die Lage direkt am Hauptplatz ist ideal, hier ist alles fußläufig erreichbar und die Straßenbahn hält vor der Türe. Das Design des Motel one, wie überall einmalig und schön; dass man einer Alleinreisenden Frau aber erst mal ein dunkles Loch mit Fenster zu einem 2qm ”Licht”-Schacht anbietet ist fast schon sexistisch. Mein Bruder bekam vor einiger Zeit, auch alleinreisend, sofort ein schönes Zimmer zum Hauptplatz. Lästig auch, dass die Zimmerkarte schon eine halbe Stunde vor Checkout time gesperrt ist und das Zimmermädchen drängelnd klopft, obwohl das ”Nicht stören Schild” an der Tür hängt.

Spacious place with a working kettle and complimentary tea and instant coffee. Enough plugs to go around and toilet amenities were all great, although the water would splash and form a puddle below the toilet bowl. Floor, toilet, beds, pillows and comforters were all comfortable and clean. TV has decent channels and the cupboard had sufficient hangers. Also good amount of surface spaces to place our things and luggages. Great place with amazing value and very accessible with a tram station right outside the entrance! Service staff were very helpful and friendly, and fluent in English. Superb place!

It was Harry's House again, it was a complete accident haha. I only remember going there for New Year's Eve, but the weather was very bad, it was all foggy, but fortunately I felt it, the lady at the front desk was very friendly, and we said Happy New Year to each other

The hotel is in a very convenient location, and Linz is relatively small, so many attractions can be reached on foot. However, it was difficult to find the entrance at first, because there was a restaurant as soon as you entered the hotel, and I thought it was a restaurant and walked past it, which was a bit confusing.

The only downside was the noise level from the soundscape rehearsal late in the evening. It was fine at 8 pm, but until 10:30 pm it was really unacceptable. Please forward this to the tourist office. Not everyone is on vacation. There are also business travelers who need to work on their laptops in their rooms in the evenings. With that massive percussion and drumming, that wasn't possible. Beautiful and impressive, no doubt, but the timing was unacceptable. You can't expect that just two days before the event. Otherwise, I wouldn't have booked with you. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Alles war sauber, modern und schön gestaltet. Besonders praktisch fanden wir die Tiefgarage, die zwar extra kostet, aber eine sehr bequeme Parkmöglichkeit bietet. Leider hatten wir etwas Pech mit unserem Familienzimmer, da es sehr kalt war. Wir haben dies gemeldet, jedoch konnte so kurzfristig nichts mehr geändert werden. Uns wurde zwar ein kleiner Heizkörper zur Verfügung gestellt, dennoch blieb das Zimmer kühl. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Rezeption: sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und bemüht, uns bestmöglich zu unterstützen. Vermutlich war es einfach ein unglücklicher Zufall. Trotz allem können wir das Hotel wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Disappointing stay at this hotel. 1. Thermostat not working within the room were the ambient temperature I guess was around 25 degrees. As front desk to resolve and was advised that none of the thermostats within the hotel worked as it was centrally heated. Advise was to open the window...obviously the front desk rep would not have slept in this room with the window open to the traffic noise. 2. Paid room tax by cash upon arrival and requested receipt for expenses and was advised i would receive this at checkout. So at checkout I was then advised the hotel had emailed the receipt to me and as you can guess I never received. Front desk then advised it was being resent and likewise never received. To the manager...I will ensure a return visit to your hotel in the coming weeks and expect you to refund my 4.50 Euros!

My stay was exemplary, characterized by a prime location and outstanding facilities. The room’s cleanliness was maintained to the highest standards, and the culinary offerings were truly world-class. Above all, the staff’s professional service ensured a seamless experience from check-in to departure.

At the beginning, I didn’t care to check in by myself. I kept on the entrance to the door. I tried to call and no one listened. Finally, I called 3 or 4 times to inform the password to open the key. The locals told the department to open the cabinet. The room was hygienic. The bed was also very big and the location was very convenient.
