WeiqiqiThis is a business hotel with clean, tidy, and adequately sized rooms. However, if you're traveling with children and have more than two suitcases, I'd recommend booking at least a 'boutique room' as standard rooms might not have enough space for your luggage. The hotel staff are highly professional; I even encountered an employee (not ethnically Chinese) who spoke fluent Mandarin. Although they weren't speaking to me directly, it felt very welcoming. Indeed, there were quite a few Chinese guests coming and going.
The hotel's lobby bar is excellent, offering a wide selection of drinks from 11 AM until late evening. The staff there are very enthusiastic.
Crucially, the hotel is incredibly close to the airport. One of the photos I uploaded shows a building at the end of the road, which is part of the airport complex. To its left is P51, the car rental parking lot at Geneva Airport, and T1 terminal is just a short walk to its right. It's only a 7-minute walk from P51 back to the hotel, and 12 minutes from the terminal. This makes it particularly convenient for travelers who rent and return their cars at Geneva Airport.
Of course, the hotel also provides a free shuttle bus service to and from the airport. It runs every 20 minutes, takes about 5 minutes, and I believe it starts as early as 4 AM.
Turn right just 30 meters from the hotel entrance, and you'll find a bus stop for the No. 10 bus, which goes directly to Lake Geneva (a 5-minute walk from the stop) and Geneva Old Town.
Upon check-in, the front desk provides an A4 printout with a free electronic public transport pass. Simply scan the QR code to download the 'hello Geneva' app, enter the 8-digit coupon ID, and you can generate an electronic travel card. You can use it for free for as many days as you're staying at the hotel.
Breakfast is served on the basement level, with both indoor and outdoor seating (smoking allowed outdoors). The food selection is decent, including coffee, milk, juices, sausages, eggs (uncommonly, besides the usual cheesy scrambled eggs, they also offered fried egg rolls), salmon, and a good variety of cold cuts like ham and salami. Fruits, toast, bread, and mini croissants are also available.
The hotel's charging sockets require an adapter. They support UK-style plugs, but for European round plugs, the recessed holes are quite deep. If you bring an adapter from home, make sure it's a long-tipped one like mine. Some round-headed adapters can only fit into the central socket.

Guest UserI booked a single room for one night and a double room for another. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the front desk staff was very friendly. When I told them I'd left my room key inside, they jokingly told me I could sleep at the front desk instead!
The hotel's location is excellent; you can get there directly from the train station by taking the underground passage and then an elevator. Breakfast options were a bit limited, but the quality felt good, and the crepes were nicely made.
The single room was quite small, with just enough space by the window to open a 28-inch suitcase. The double room, however, was much larger and even had a mini-fridge. The downside was that the beds were too soft, which seems to be a common issue in Europe, and the curtains let in a lot of light, which is tough when it gets bright so early in Geneva during summer.
Most importantly, it has air conditioning! Air conditioning! Air conditioning! It was an absolute lifesaver! Seriously, what on earth were those places I stayed in Zurich and Interlaken thinking, having no AC at all?!

Guest UserThe room was clean and spacious. The front desk staff, especially the guy, provided excellent service and had a great attitude. The only minor issue was that the luggage handler's attitude was a bit subpar.

This is my third stay at this hotel. Its location is fantastic, being just a 1-2 minute walk from the lake. The No. 15 bus stop is also a short stroll away. It's only two stops from the train station, or a pleasant 10-15 minute walk, which is convenient even with luggage. The UN headquarters are also just two stops away. The hotel provides free public transport passes, making getting around exceptionally easy. You'll find Lidl and Coop supermarkets just one stop away.
The hotel breakfast features delicious homemade bread and croissants. While the selection isn't vast, everything is truly delicious, and you can smell the wonderfully fresh aroma starting as early as 5 AM each morning.
The price was very reasonable for Geneva, and the room also comes with a kitchen, perfect if you prefer to cook your own meals. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied to have found such a great place in a city like Geneva!

AppleTravelSwiss hotels are relatively expensive due to limited space, but this time, because my trip was longer, I booked a slightly larger double room with a view of the Jet d'Eau. From my room, I could see the fountain and the beautiful old buildings in the surrounding square. The room had three windows, which were very bright when open. My room also had a small luggage compartment. The hotel was very clean, and there was bus number 10 nearby that goes directly to and from the airport. However, you need to bring your own basic toiletries as they are not provided. It's a short walk from the city center, but not too far. There's a Burger King nearby, but for something better, you need to go to the train station where there's a Chinese restaurant; the food is decent. The hotel floors are wooden, which felt cleaner than carpet. Considering the high cost of living in Switzerland, this hotel is quite good value and worth recommending.

Anonymous UserThe location is excellent, within walking distance of Lake Geneva and right next to the Palais des Nations, home to many famous figures. However, as is typical of hotels I've stayed at, the facilities are indeed somewhat outdated, and cleanliness isn't always up to par, similar to other five-star hotels in China. Overall, it offers good value for money, and for a long-established five-star hotel, it's still worth recommending.

Travel magicThe hotel's location is excellent! There's a bus stop nearby, and you can easily walk to many places. It's also directly opposite Lake Geneva! However, the rooms are quite basic, and the cleanliness could definitely be improved. The hotel also lacks amenities; they didn't even provide bottled water. Next time, I'll probably choose a hotel with better facilities.

I went a day earlier to confirm my stay with the hotel. They couldn't find my booking. I showed them my confirmation on my phone. I was told that they can see my confirmation number but no payment was made by trip.com. They assured me that such has happened before and told me to be on the safe guard book another room as a standby. They assured me that they will not swipe my card until matter is resolved. That assurance made me check in. I kept coming to the front office every now and then and I was told it was resolved. Only on the last night I was told that by Trip.com of the error in the address. In the meantime the hotel had swiped my card. Surprisingly they did not honour the feedbacks I gave to Hotel Montana Geneve and Hotel Montana Zurich. There was no email to apologise for the oversight and delay in handling. I went to the hotel one day earlier to check, they could have attended to it and not confidently putting the blame on trip.com since there has been previous incidents where [ayment was not received.
I thought Hotel Montana group could have handled this matter better. Quite disappointing.
