KKeyizouleThis is a treasure homestay in Chengjiang! When you open the window, you can see the quiet lotus pond and Fuxian Lake not far away. The morning mist is shrouded, and the sunset glows red in the evening. Every frame is like a painting! The room is warm and exquisite, with simple style furniture and soft bedding. There is also a viewing balcony and a rooftop terrace. It is so comfortable to sit on a chair and drink tea while enjoying the scenery. The boss is warm and hospitable. He not only recommends restaurants and farmers' markets frequented by locals, but also helps recommend delicious supper. The rice noodles and blueberries for breakfast are full of characteristics and cost-effective.

The hotel facilities are very new, the waiters are very efficient, and the hotel also provides free lunch. Overall, the experience is very good. GGuest UserThis was my first time visiting Fuxian Lake, and I stayed at the Hilton, which was a great experience. The environment was lovely, and the service was excellent. I wish I had booked a higher-floor room with a lake view; the scenery would have been even better. Unfortunately, my trip to Fuxian Lake was too short, so I didn't get a chance to fully immerse myself and really enjoy it. I'd love to come back again next time I have the opportunity!

I passed by Fuxian Lake last year when I was going around the lake. I thought this beach was very comfortable. I thought it would be beautiful to stay in a hotel here, but I didn't have the chance to stay at that time.
Excited and unable to hold back my hands, I immediately searched for hotels nearby. During my search, I came across Gu Yue Boutique Hotel. I like the decoration style very much, and the price at that time was over 600+.
But I just wanted to stay, and I was debating whether to book a lake next to it.
Everything just happened to be at the right time. I decided to come at around 8pm on February 1st and contacted an old friend from 7-8 years ago. He happened to be coming to Yuxi for something and could stay with us for 2 days. Book the high-speed rail ticket on the same day to catch up with the end of the Spring Festival. We will set off from my hometown on February 4th. The high-speed rail will arrive at Pu'er at Yuxi Station at 8 a.m. on February 5th. In the afternoon, we will go to Mu Cafe☕️ to check in and take beautiful photos, and in the evening we will go to Weilian Fishing Village for dinner. , arrived at the hotel after driving for 1 hour.
Check in to Star Fish Cave, Xi’an Club, and Internet Celebrity Bridge on 2.6th day.
Return to Yuxi on the 2.7th and check in to Yuxi Gauff Bar
We arrived in Pu'er from Yuxi at 10 o'clock on the 8th, and returned directly to Menglian in the afternoon, just in time to go home for the New Year😄😄
The location of the B&B is excellent. You can take a boat to Gushan Island just across the road. My sister and I came together. She is afraid of water, so we canceled the boat trip and went to the Internet Celebrity Bridge and the Star Fish Cave. The water in Star Fish Cave is very clear. Picture 7 is really the Yunnan version of the Maldives.
This is my third time coming to Fuxian Lake. I stayed at Moon Bay before.

I really like the decoration style of the B&B bar. Guests staying in the hotel are given two cups of cocktails/coffee every day. It coincides with the peak season of the Spring Festival fireworks. I opened the curtains in the hotel room and admired the beautiful fireworks. I was in a hurry and didn’t have time to take pictures, so I borrowed the photos from downstairs. She also installed a door to record a video of the room for me, so I thought of giving her some strawberries to eat.
There was something wrong with the electric toilet in the bathroom of the room. I didn't know how to fix it at first, so I contacted her and she asked the store manager to help us solve it. But after she left, the water kept buzzing. I turned off the electricity, but the water still kept flowing and kept making a buzzing sound. In the overcrowded tourist destination, it is like a quiet harbor, especially everyone's staff here. We cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, located in a picturesque village along the northeastern coast of Fuxian Lake. Positives: 1. the location is AMAZING. The village itself feels very Mediterranean and houses over 30 boutique-style hotels. 2. This specific hotel has the most beautiful Chinese garden. My husband and I spent ample time just sitting in the garden chatting and looking at the beautiful flowers. They also have a basket swing our kids played on. 3. The design of the hotel is beautiful…..thatched roofing and wooden doors on the outside, reeded ceilings with wooden beams on the inside…..it all looked so warm and lovely. 4. Our specific room was a 2-level lake view family suite that had a terrace outside the upper level bedroom (which was the “master”). The view from this upper bedroom was so gorgeous….prime view of the lake. 5. The bathroom in our suite was modern and seemed to have some kind of heating fan over the shower area which was an added bonus. 6. The breakfast was traditional Chinese style. By this time, we were at the end of our trip and were a bit tired of rice noodles for breakfast (we are used to western-style breakfasts), but as soon as we tasted this hotel’s rice noodles, it was easy to forget we were tired of them. They were delicious! The owner also served us steamed milk and some kind of sweet steamed bread. It was all very tasty!
Negatives: I truly do not have any. And I usually always have something I critique about hotels. But this place was truly a 5-star stay for us. It was gorgeous and the owner was so sweet.

Bus rides to famous scenic locations and Historic Old street of hotspot cafes, noodle shops are only 5-15 mins away. Hotel is managed by a young couple who are very hospitable and helpful, very welcoming of foreign travellers. Hotel room is comfortable with good mattress, clean and warm duvet for this 12c Yunnan weather, bath towel and shampoo, good wifi signal, hot water shower, water boiler for coffee. As Solo female backpacker who felt very safe in this hotel stay, I highly recommend this listing!

GGuest UserWe booked online a ”standard single room”, for two people. We were in a hurry so we didn't look carefully all the info online, we only saw that the room was 15 m². When we arrived, we realized that 1/ the room is much smaller than that (there's basically only room for the double bed, nothing else) 2/ the toilets and bathroom are shared. We are a couple travelling on a budget, so we're totally okay with shared bathrooms, but this one was really small and also smelly, so we asked to change for a better room, with private bathroom. This new room was fine, but in the end, we paid a total of 68 yuan, for a much more basic room than other rooms we slept in for lower prices. Apart from that, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, directly next to a lot of shops and delicious street food.
