Yuxi Hotels with Breakfast

The room is on the fourth floor, clean and sanitary. The four-piece suit and bath towels are very comfortable. There are two kinds of pillows with moderate hardness and softness. The toiletries are very useful. The room is not big but it has everything it should have. The kettle is clean and easy to use. The disposable slippers are of good quality. There is also a laundry room on the roof for drying. The water flow of the shower is not too strong and I hope it can be improved. I don't like the smart toilet flushing when I sit down. Breakfast is clean and sanitary rice noodles, corn and eggs. There is also a bar downstairs where you can drink coffee and wine. Outside the door is a beautiful lotus pond. The village is very clean and there are many beautiful plants and flowers. It is only a few minutes' walk from the lake. The boss is very nice and enthusiastic. He provides a lot of help. The recommended restaurants and morning markets are very good. It is convenient to take a taxi, and there are also shared electric motorcycles for rent in the surrounding area. In short, it is a homestay worth coming again.

We are American expats living in Hong Kong and came to Kunming area for our school’s Easter holiday. We cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, located in a picturesque village along the northeastern coast of Fuxian Lake. Positives: 1. the location is AMAZING. The village itself feels very Mediterranean and houses over 30 boutique-style hotels. 2. This specific hotel has the most beautiful Chinese garden. My husband and I spent ample time just sitting in the garden chatting and looking at the beautiful flowers. They also have a basket swing our kids played on. 3. The design of the hotel is beautiful…..thatched roofing and wooden doors on the outside, reeded ceilings with wooden beams on the inside…..it all looked so warm and lovely. 4. Our specific room was a 2-level lake view family suite that had a terrace outside the upper level bedroom (which was the “master”). The view from this upper bedroom was so gorgeous….prime view of the lake. 5. The bathroom in our suite was modern and seemed to have some kind of heating fan over the shower area which was an added bonus. 6. The breakfast was traditional Chinese style. By this time, we were at the end of our trip and were a bit tired of rice noodles for breakfast (we are used to western-style breakfasts), but as soon as we tasted this hotel’s rice noodles, it was easy to forget we were tired of them. They were delicious! The owner also served us steamed milk and some kind of sweet steamed bread. It was all very tasty! Negatives: I truly do not have any. And I usually always have something I critique about hotels. But this place was truly a 5-star stay for us. It was gorgeous and the owner was so sweet.

I highly recommend Joy hotel. I stayed at the Jia Yue Deluxe Suite and it's great. Two spacious rooms with all amenities. The hotel service is excellent. The front desk personnel are very kind and helped me throughout my stay. They even helped me change my booking and get a refund from trip.com. The hotel's specialty is that it offers both breakfast and lunch as part of your stay. The restaurant's two female chefs are really charming and they prepare the most delicious food. The only drawback of the hotel is the lack of a laundry room, but there are several laundry shops not far away. In sum, I had a lovely stay. Hope to get back soon 🙏🏻

After comparing several places, I finally chose this one, and I'm so glad I did. From check-in to check-out, the service was impeccable. The room had great natural light, a sensible layout, and the facilities were well-maintained and looked new. The cleaning staff did a thorough job every day during my stay. It was a really relaxing place that helped ease the fatigue of my trip.

The B&B is directly opposite the pier of Gushan Scenic Area. You can directly see the lake from the room, and you can take a boat to Gushan Island after crossing the road and walking two steps. The room is quite unique, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is too simple (just a bowl of freshly cooked rice noodles, and then there is a rice cooker on the floor in the corner to bring you 2 small steamed buns and sweet potatoes or corn) and nothing else. . For the price of 700+ per night, it is really about the same level as a B&B breakfast of over 100 per night. It is recommended to upgrade! There is a bar in the front lobby with a lot of different kinds of wine. Unfortunately, I didn't taste it because I drove here and I can't drink while driving. Parking is very convenient, and you can park in the yard in front of the door. Gushan is a bit unpopular, and there are not too many tourists. After 8 o'clock in the evening, the surrounding restaurants are closed, and there are only a few barbecue stalls left, which is not very convenient. There is a terrace on the roof of the fourth floor, where you can watch the sunrise in the morning. The waiters in the guest room and front desk disappeared. Except for check-in time, there was basically no one coming in and out. In the morning, I went to the terrace on the fourth floor to watch the sunrise. It seemed that the banquet I had had the previous night in the private room of the hotel next to it was all gone. It hasn't been cleaned up yet, and the cups and bowls are in a mess... Their coffee is particularly delicious. When I left the store, I was given a cup of hand-brewed coffee, which was delicious!

I came to this Hilton, hoping to experience 'China's most beautiful Hilton,' but left quite disappointed. The surrounding area offers very little, making for a rather boring stay. Breakfast wasn't good either, and we hastily checked out by 9 AM the next day. Facilities: The cabinet doors were crooked and loose, and the headboard was tattered. Hygiene: No issues found. Environment: Calling it 'China's most beautiful Hilton' is an overstatement. The decor is similar to many other seaside resorts from the same period, and the environment isn't as good as the Zhoushan Westin, which is in the same price range and from the same era. Service: The service was proactive and attentive. They proactively upgraded us from a Deluxe Lake View to an Executive Lake View. However, in this particular room type, the lake-facing side was largely obstructed by a wall, with the sliding glass door taking up a concerningly small portion. Was this really an upgrade? Side note: The 'Imperial Restaurant' within the hotel offers a 399 hot pot fish set menu that is genuinely awful – absolutely do not order it! On this Yunnan trip, I stayed at the Pullman Dali, Qianshanji, Hilton Fuxian Lake, and Kunming Haiqiao View, and the Hilton was by far the worst experience. This older hotel is truly not worth the price. Overall, it was a disappointing stay.

I traveled solo to Fuxian Lake, and this stay truly exceeded my expectations! First off, the room was spotless, really clean and fresh overall. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it was so quiet at night – no noise at all. The hotel staff were excellent; the front desk even gave me detailed tips for sightseeing. Their service was thoughtful, they were warm and polite, and very efficient. When I was hungry, the butler promptly brought a thoughtful bowl of late-night congee – I was really touched! The breakfast was also delicious, just like homemade. All in all, it was a very comfortable stay and great value for money. The infinity pool on the fourth floor is unique and absolutely beautiful. I’ll definitely choose this place again next time!

The room was quite satisfactory, and the service was also good. Although the projector could not be used, the customer service was actively solving the problem, and the projector might be fixed before the next wave of tourists checked in. The biggest complaint was that on the first floor, the balcony door opened directly into the grass on the roadside, and the privacy was relatively poor. It was necessary to lock the doors and windows and draw the curtains when checking in at night. I hope that in the future, the hotel customer service can inform tourists in advance before they check in.

The room is quite big, air-conditioned, the equipment is quite new, the decoration is very good, the supporting things are complete, the service attitude is good! It is not convenient to eat around, there are no restaurants.

This stay experience exceeded expectations. It is convenient to go out to eat and go to Fuxian Lake. It is also very close to Fuxian Lake. It can be walked for a few minutes. The first floor of the hotel is the restaurant. You can eat when you are lazy. The room is clean and the bed is sleeping. And the scenery outside the room is also good, you can see the beautiful Fuxian Lake, the front desk service is also thoughtful, and the hygiene and cleaning are also timely and intimate.
