LLeiseJust two blocks from JR, super close. There's a Lawson downstairs and a 7-Eleven right in front. It's really convenient for getting to all the attractions. Check-in is self-service, which is very handy. The front desk offers free daily amenities. The cleaning lady in the afternoon was very thorough. Even when we didn't need a full cleaning, she would still prepare garbage bags and towels and hang them on the doorknob. That's excellent!

CChrisYap1199Clean Apartment hotel. Interestingly they have an automated bath tub with water system. Good view and of coz a balcony for slow mornings and coffee. Location is great, only a few hundred meters to the train station. Convenience store just a few minutes walk. Near the fresh market. Staff were friendly and gave us toiletries and left it outside the room even when we did not ask for room cleaning. Spacious and great stay for Ironman participants as the unit is big, you can build your bike comfortably. Overall it was a great stay!

ZZaodianshuijue666Overall, it's excellent. The room is spacious for Japan, with plenty of space for luggage. The bathroom is still small, but it has everything you need. The room is odor-free, the bedding is comfortable, and the A/C works great. The front desk staff speak excellent English, so communication was a breeze. You can pick up toiletries in the lobby, and soft drinks are available from 3 PM to 10 PM (I think there was alcohol too). If you're coming from the airport, take the bus to Horai-cho (700 JPY/person), and the hotel is right there. We took a taxi, which cost around 3500 JPY.

KKhooI really love this hotel. It has a kitchenette and very nice bathroom. Very Near to the morning market and near to our favourite burger joint, Lucky Pierot!
Although room is abit small, it was cosy. No cupboards! Very minimalist hotel.

MM606647****The hotel is conveniently located near Hakodate JR Station, making it easy to reach attractions by bus or tram. They also offer a free shuttle service to Goryokaku and the Red Brick Warehouses. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The room size was decent, and there's a communal water dispenser, plus you can boil water in your room. The onsen (hot spring) bath is quite unique with its yellowish-brown water, and the outdoor bath is excellent. Another highlight is the second-floor common area, which features information about Hakodate's historical sites. It's a great spot for friends to gather for tea or to relax after a hot spring soak. There's even an outdoor heater. Breakfast offers a good selection of seafood, and despite being busy, it was well-organized.

GGuest UserExcellent choice for budget-conscious travelers visiting Hakodate! convenient location - easy to get around, with a short walk to the tram station. The tram connects you to many popular attractions around the city. Plus, the airport transfer bus stop is just a stone's throw away, with affordable fares to New Chitose Airport (13,000 yen). We also discovered a lovely 2nd-generation ice cream parlor right opposite the bus stop! The hotel's breakfast was impressive and delicious. Overall, the hotel offers great value for its price. We had a family room with excellent view for sunrise 🌅.

GGuest UserThis is the second time for the consecutive years of our stay. This hotel is the only reason for us to come back to Hokkaido again from last year’s trip. The ocean view in the room accompanied with the sound of tides / wind is peaceful and lovely; and the in-room but semi-outdoor/facing the sea onsen makes everything perfect. Also the lobby sitting area is another fascinating place for stay for a while! The downstairs souvenir shop, nearby walking distance Lawson/ 7–11 makes the location more convenient.
But maybe the expectation was too high after waiting for a year, I was disappointed for this stay several reasons:
1) too strong third hand cigarettes smell in the room, although we opened the window for 24 hours, the smell still lingered
2) check out time is WAY TOO EARLY(10 am) for a leisure purpose of stay
3) the room is clean but not the window, it hinder the view of seeing through the ocean ; and can tell the hotel is old from every corners.
I’ll reconsider to stay again if the price is worth the downside we need to compromise.

GGuest UserWe booked this hotel for a special stay for our Christmas Day abroad and it did not disappoint. The rooms are cozy, spacious and quiet with very comfy beds. We appreciated the entry way with the closet and shoe rack. We also appreciated the shower with great pressure, the large sink counter and the Japanese style toilet. There was also a good amount of toiletries provided. We had Japanese style pajamas, slippers for the room, sandals to go around the hotel in and even slippers specifically for the toilet area. The room has a large TV and you can connect to it with an HDMI cable or screencast but we could not figure out how to screencast. The hotel primarily caters to Japanese so the important stuff was in English but the little things like the remote control and temperature control were not.
We booked our stay with the buffet dinner and breakfast and for our stay it seems that all the greatest hits for Japanese cuisine were out. For dinner they had a steak grilling station, a BBQ scallop station, a sushi chef, crab dumplings and all kinds of accompaniments. For the dessert they had an array of tasty sweets but we enjoyed the macarons and Hokkaido ice cream the most. The breakfast was equally fantastic with a miso soup station, all kinds of sashimi, black pork dumplings, fried chicken and all kinds of crowd pleasers. There is a juice station and a coffee machine that makes all kinds of drinks so we were very pleased with the meals. We appreciated the plates and small dishes that allowed for small portions so we could pretty much try everything. Some items at the buffet did run out and these were specifically the small dishes - it is worth going early for breakfast and dinner because some items are not replenished and I found quite a few of these very delicious!
There isn't much around the hotel other than a 7-11 and a small botanical garden across the bridge but it is definitely a hotel meant to stay in and enjoy. We went to the onsen at night and in the morning and really enjoyed the outdoor bath which was sea facing. At night you could hear the waves and see the stars and during the day you could enjoy the beach and mountain view. The onsen baths have a variety of temperature pools and saunas and good bath products. There is a machine that dispenses a few pop flavours, cold tea and mineral water in the change room. There was a variety of self care products available in the change rooms as well like toothbrushes and razors.
Our room was very cozy after our bath and we found that the temperature for the hotel was possibly centrally controlled and not adjustable according to Google translation. It was set at a balmy 24 but we did figure out how to turn it off and got a comfortable night's rest. I wasn't a big fan of the hard toothbrushes that were provided mainly because the toothbrush used a coating rather than toothpaste which makes them truly single use.
The hotel offers quite a few amenities outside of the onsen area but the onsen was the highlight for us. They have a lounge area with lots of seats looking out to the sea near the front desk, a separate restaurant from the buffet restaurant, a souvenir shop that sells drinks too and luggage storage. We aren't sure if there are multiple floors with laundry machines but the one laundry room we did find only had one machine so this might not be a hotel to do your laundry at.
The hotel is easily accessible from both the train station and airport. From the train station you can take a bus or the tram which would take about 30 minutes and from the airport there are some dedicated busses that will take about 15 minutes. The bus station and tram station closest to the hotel is Yunokawa Onsen.
This was a great stay for us and we felt one night here was perfect. There is a lot to see in Hakodate and had we stayed longer we would have chosen a more economical option but this truly was a special treat for us.

MM474639****I highly, highly recommend this hotel! It's located near Goryokaku Park, easily accessible by tram from JR Hakodate Station. This area is quite central, with museums, shopping malls, and plenty of great food options nearby – there's even a super delicious soup curry place! A Lawson and 7-Eleven are less than a minute away, and it's also close to Yunokawa Onsen.
I recommend this hotel for a couple of reasons. First, the room was exceptionally clean and spacious. I stayed in a king-size room by myself, and it felt more than ample; I could easily fit several suitcases without an issue. Second, the staff's service attitude was excellent – very polite and courteous. I had a meeting in the morning and requested that the cleaning staff not disturb me during that time. Throughout my stay, no one ever knocked on my door; they quietly cleaned the adjacent rooms. Later, when I returned from sightseeing in the evening, I found a bag of fresh toiletries hanging on my door!
I was so touched! They were considerate enough not to disturb me by knocking, yet also made sure I had new bathroom supplies.
I was deeply impressed by the hotel's service and thoughtful consideration! This was truly the most satisfying hotel experience of my Hokkaido trip. The price was reasonable, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were warm and polite.
Next time I visit Hakodate, I'm booking this hotel directly.

While there were many non-smoking rooms, the companion who was a smoker was very happy.
