The hotel is very quiet and the scenery is beautiful. When I first ate, I asked to choose a pair of dumplings. I didn't expect that the next day I was still the pair of dumplings. The small details made people feel the meticulous quality service. The dining is also very attentive. The exquisite meal and the process of full ritual make us enjoy the joy of food. The waiter also made the unfinished salmon parent-child rice into a rice ball with lotus leaves and sent it to the room. It was so intimate and worth going again.

The room I booked was a regular tatami room, but the lake view was great. The hotel service was really considerate and thoughtful. I arrived early and was told during check-in that there was a free bus tour of the four major shrines of Suwa, including a driver's explanation throughout the trip. Due to my poor Japanese, I only understood the general idea and didn't understand any of the details. The four shrines of Suwa Taisha were originally quite scattered, but now it's easy to take them all. The breakfast was made with local specialties and was very healthy.

The location, facilities, price, and service were all excellent. The fact that the hotel's hot springs were available almost 24 hours a day was a great bonus.
If I had to nitpick, the hallway on my floor and the bathroom in my room had a slight sewage smell, which bothered me. Personally, it wasn't so bad that I couldn't sleep, but it was noticeable. I think the other floors were fine.
I would like to stay here again.

Yanjingxiong8996Service: Very attentive. Although the front desk staff didn't speak Chinese or English, we managed to communicate well with the help of a translator.
Food & Beverage: Dinner and breakfast were included in the room rate. Dinner was tasty and substantial. Breakfast, however, was quite standard and not really to Chinese tastes.
Environment: The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the station and a 30-minute walk from Tateishi Park. We were also lucky enough to catch a fireworks festival on the day we checked in!

Guest UserThe location is very good. It is two or three minutes away from the station. Although the waiters do not understand English, they try their best to communicate. There is no separate bathroom in the room, but there is a wash basin to wash your face and brush your teeth. The hot spring water does not seem to be a real hot spring. There is no sulphur smell. When you take a bath. There are many Chinese and English menus in the restaurants there. The waiters don't know how to speak English. They have pictures to see pictures, no pictures, and what to eat next to the Japanese.

Guest UserA family hotel run by an amiable old couple makes people feel warm everywhere. During the stay, I have never seen other helpers in the hotel, but there are no details of negligence. Dinner and breakfast are very rich, meat, fish, staple food, side dishes, soup, desserts, after-dinner tea, the same is a lot; The rooms are also available, there is a refrigerator, and even a bottle of hot water is burned, and you can keep the temperature and make tea at any time. Although it is close to the lake, the house does not feel damp. The two elders are as busy and peaceful as visiting the lake, and greet every guest with kindness. I hope more people can come to this hotel to experience it, and it will not disappoint you.

Location is great, it is just on the main road and by the lake. I remember there was a Lawon convenient store not far away when we drove past. We stayed there for 1 night.
I highly doubt if we were given the wrong room type, as I booked a room that can see the full Suwa Lake, but the room we have got is at the corner. It is because of the cherry blossom season, there are so many mosquitos outside so we couldn't open any window. According to the information provided by the hotel, the mosquitos don't bite human, but create stains on clothings.
Anyway, the room has a private onsen. It was quite small, and look a bit old. The water is very hot, though I couldn't smell any sulfur so it is not a real hot spring. As the windows can't be opened, so it is a quite stuffy inside the bathroom. The room has equipped with all amenities, but no bottled water. The hotel mentioned the water is drinkable from the tab. The room is quite clean and spacious. The mattress is quite nice, it was good for taking a rest after a whole day trip. We chose the meal package (breakfast and dinner). They were both Japanese style with a lot of dishes and options. Food is great. Nagano is not a place that produces meat, so mainly there are a lot of vegetables.
With the price we paid for, the hotel services, food and everything is quite reasonable. However, the hotel is a bit old. Nothing is special other than providing a clean room to sleep.
