This was a layover hotel for us and it did the trick. It is only about 15 minutes away from Teminal C at EWR and also has shuttles that can drop you to the airport. Remember to call ahead of time and book your slot because the shuttle runs at scheduled time and can be full. They have a decent spread for breakfast. The reception is very helpful as well.

Guest UserI only stayed for one night, and the official checkout time was 12 PM the next day. However, before 11 AM, two different cleaning staff members opened my door without knocking to clean. It was quite startling! Is their service usually this casual?

BhatiaStayed here after a late night flight into EWR. The hotel had a free shuttle that picked us from the airport. The staff was very welcoming despite our late check in and short stay. Rooms were clean and comfy!

The smell of paint is indeed strong. I don't know if the furniture is painted or something.
The front desk service is good and the guy is very friendly.
I didn't have breakfast because I had an early flight. I guess there are only a few options. Breakfast in American hotels is quite impetuous.
