GGuest UserSuperb location: it's incredibly convenient to reach from the airport, whether by train (just 3 stops) or tram (30 minutes), and the fare is the same for both options. The room was clean and comfortable, with a coffee machine. All major attractions are within walking distance. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!

AAlimar NathanWe had a pleasant stay at Hotel Marta. The location is excellent — right in the middle of Zurich and close to everything, making it very easy to explore the city. The service was great, especially the lady who assisted us during check-in; she was very nice and friendly, which made us feel welcome. The room itself was clean and simple, though it didn’t have air conditioning. We had to slightly open the window for ventilation, which was manageable. We requested a higher floor, but I think because we also requested two single beds, we were assigned a lower floor instead. Not a big issue, but something to note. Breakfast was very minimal in terms of options. If you have the choice, it might be better to skip the breakfast and try some of the many nearby cafes instead. Overall, Hotel Marta is a good, no-fuss option if you want to stay in a central and convenient location in Zurich with friendly service.

GGuest UserThe location was very convenient, near a station with many lines. You can't enter from the front of the building, so you have to go around to the back. There are two key boxes lined up, and the key comes out from the one that matches the key code. The key code will be sent to you by email from the hotel immediately after booking, and you can get the key code by entering the necessary information. I read a lot of reviews, so I was pretty prepared, but it was less inconvenient than I thought it would be. The shower had a curtain, so the toilet didn't get flooded. The amenities were a gel that included body soap and shampoo (as is the case everywhere in Switzerland), so if you are concerned about that, I recommend bringing your own body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The TV didn't turn on. The window didn't close completely, so I blocked it with a weight. The walls are thin enough that you can hear the neighbors walking and the phone ringing, and the building is old. Checking out is also done by putting the key in the box. It feels more like an Airbnb than a hotel. I stayed for one night and checked in late and checked out early, so it didn't bother me too much and I thought it was reasonable considering the price.
