izbeijingThe homestay owner is friendly and kind. I think the place is still new because the room that we stay looks really new and clean. The room also very big, i think enough for family of 3-5. The location is really beautiful in the morning and you can see clear sky at night. However, at nights you will see some bugs in the room😅. Other than that, all good.

Posted on Jun 29, 2025|Detached Stargazing Cabin (Air Conditioning + Loft + Outdoor Terrace + Independent Space)
Guest UserThe extension of the Ulanbutong Scenic Area is about 10km away from the scenic area. Because I travel with pets, I prefer pet-friendly hotels or B&Bs due to conditions. When I searched for this Weiman, I was attracted by the shape of the cabin at first sight. Secondly, this is a four-person room with two floors, which includes all the accompanying personnel, which is more suitable than opening two rooms. There is a grassland outside the B&B that can be entered and exited for free. Two young men are training horses, and a small yellow horse is following closely.
Sound insulation: It is well done. When sleeping, there are performances, humming, and continuous high songs on the neighboring street. There are also firecrackers. When I closed the window, the cabin was quiet and I fell asleep.
The room is fully equipped and parking is convenient. The boss is warm and thoughtful.
This B&B has an independent restaurant where you can order dishes. The menu is cost-effective, the dishes are large, and the taste is good. 360 for four people, I ate too much [covering my face] I recommend the vegetable milk chewing, which is different from the traditional one, but tastes better😋
This B&B is cost-effective in terms of accommodation conditions (environment, facilities, price, pet-friendly), especially recommended for friends who travel by car.

The parking lot is big enough. Breakfast 6-9 There are quite a lot of styles. Many locals come to eat 20 yuan, which means that they are still very recognized. Central air conditioning. The museum is nearby. The disadvantage is that the sound insulation between the rooms is not very good, and I can hear the normal chat next door very clearly. Room 306 has a problem with the handheld shower fixed and needs to be repaired. The security uncle and the front desk were very good. My family lost their ID card. They helped me find it for a long time.

GoldenWeek family
We went to this hotel on a family trip and booked a lodge.
We arrived after dark, the hotel team was helpful in getting us to our lodge, although the languange barrier was clear. Transport was done by electric carts.
The lodge was cosy and comfortable, with a nice terrace with wetlands view. Good beds, and a spacious bathroom. It was clean.
The dinner we had was good for people liking chinese food (kind of chinese barbeque). The breakfast was chinese too, which may be an issue for people who are into more traditional western breakfast. The buffet was diverse, a lot to choose.
The location of the venue is great, plenty of activities for families.
We were there during Golden Week. Perfect temperature (10-15 degrees), blue skies...
We can recommend this hotel and its amenities and would go back again.

The room is not big, but it is very comfortable to stay in, and the shower water is great! It is very clean overall, and the service is good. It caught up with the company's team building, there was a bonfire party with performances, and many gorgeous fireworks. I watched the fireworks that I didn't see during the Chinese New Year! The places to eat are not far away, and the stay experience is good!

TienneA comfortable stay in a great location, the yurts are located just a ten minute walk away from the ticket counter for the Dalinuoer Lake Scenic Area. It's a pretty small town, so it's also close to pretty much every restaurant. The boss is also very friendly, he answered all my questions and helped me with finding transportation.
The conditions of the yurt are actually quite good, there's a heating/air conditioning unit, which I used to keep cozy at night, and a full bathroom (shower, toilet, sink, hot water etc.). There's also a TV, a variety of charging cables, and free WiFi. The bed is massive, very comfortable and able to fit a family. Body wash, shampoo, hairdryer, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided.
For those who may be concerned about such things, it may be useful to note that the door locks from the inside using a deadbolt, and when you leave your yurt for the day you lock it from the outside with a padlock as there's no electronic lock or keycard. It didn't bother me and since the town is very small, I felt pretty safe.
As for cleanliness, for what it is (essentially a semi-permanent tent in the rural grasslands) it's very clean. There are vinyl floors and clean sheets, everything seems well maintained. Sometimes little critters like moths fly in, but this is glamping. Of course you shouldn't expect the same type of environment as a regular five star hotel.
Overall I had a wonderful experience here! Felt connected to nature while still enjoying my creature comforts.

The hotel in the scenic area, the grassland area is very sparse and can not ask too much for it. When I go, it is not the peak season. It is not too expensive to stay for one night. The dinner is eaten in the restaurant in the yard. It is very general, very expensive and not delicious, but the breakfast is really affordable. 10 yuan a person several dishes of side dishes, porridge steamed buns and milk tea, breakfast is the best place I have a good impression of this store

Zezezezeze. This hotel directly subverted my impression of a cheap hotel. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and clean, the bathroom was clean, and there were free washing machines and dryers. It was especially friendly to the party on business trips! Have the opportunity to stay again.

Very good, the elders are very satisfied, the food is very tasty, unlike the food in the homestay which is oily and salty, and the price is not expensive👍
Facilities: convenient parking, the restaurant also provides hot water, you can bring a kettle with you when you take the elders out to play, you don't have to boil one kettle after another in the guest room
Hygiene: the room is clean and tidy
Environment: the rest environment is very quiet at night, you don't have to worry about the elders being disturbed and unable to sleep
Service: the grassland temperature is still relatively low in late spring and early summer, and the quality control is considerate to provide two quilts for each bed

Anonymous UserOverall, the facilities are acceptable.
The owner's service attitude was excellent. Although some issues couldn't be resolved, he was responsive.
The facilities were generally new, and the air conditioning and electric blanket were very thoughtful.
There was a pine oil smell, so be cautious if you have sensitive noses. I, a chronic rhinitis sufferer, didn't notice it. The black toilet was unique, a first for me. In the first room, the showerhead leaked, and the toilet didn't flush. A different room the next day fixed the problem. Be sure to check the toilet and showerhead for proper function upon check-in.
Areas for improvement:
1. The roof is made of sunroom glass, and it's incredibly bright at 5 a.m., practically a cure for lazy sleepers.
2. Always choose the room at the back; there's zero soundproofing. A tour group left at 6 a.m., and I was woken by the constant noise.
3. There's a cultural festival or something a few dozen meters away, with electronic music and fireworks throughout the evening, ending at 12 p.m. If you're looking for an early start, forget it; the speakers will make your bed shake. Of course, this isn't the owner's decision, so I can't blame him.
Finally, I want to say that if you want to experience the yurt experience, you must be prepared to sleep for 5 hours, because theoretically there is only so much time to sleep. However, as someone who often travels for business and has average sleep quality, such a room is not my best choice.
